Met a few fam members here last evening. We had kids with us and didn't want to sit ima stuffy restaurant so we gathered here instead. It was a fab idea! It's a quick taco place that has average tasting tacos and selections. I'd say it's not very authentic. I'm from California and know good tacos. These are more like Taco Bell style and their sauces are just ok. I'd go there only in a pinch if I really needed something gluten free and quick. I've tried that beef tacos in the hard shells and they're ok but not cravable. Overall, the service is what makes it nice. read more

I recently visited Tito's and witnessed something very unprofessional from one of the managers. While I was there, the manager was speaking down to an employee in front of both staff and customers. He was in the employee's face while the young man was simply trying to assist a DoorDash delivery driver with an order. As a customer, this behavior was uncomfortable to watch and did not reflect well on management. When I later asked what the manager's name was, the employee told me it was Brian. On a positive note, the food at Tito's is very good, and the young staff members inside are always polite, professional, and kind. He handled himself well despite the situation. I hope management addresses this, as it can make a big difference in the overall customer experience. read more

I came here with a friend after seeing the Fat Amy taco on TikTok. We went for lunch on a Sunday. My friend ordered the Fat Amy taco and I got the Big Easy Blackened Chicken burrito. There are a few tables inside and outside. Outdoor seating seems to be popular, as all of the tables outside were taken. Inside, there were a few tables and they were all available. We ordered and paid at the counter, then picked a table inside. Our food was brought to us when it was ready, which was nice. They also gave us a free thing of chips and salsa, which honestly didn't taste that great but hey, it's free. The Fat Amy did not disappoint. We kind of knew what to expect from the TikTok but it was still hilarious to see it in person. It's HUGE! Flavor-wise, I'd give it like a 3/5. Not bad, but not amazing either. It was kind of spicy too, which I wasn't expecting. The spicy chipotle sauce has quite a bit of kick to it. My burrito was delicious. The flavors worked really well together. It looks small in the photo (especially next to that huge taco lol) but it was actually a pretty decent size. I couldn't even finish the whole thing because I got too full. I had about 2-3 bites left but I just couldn't do it. My friend on the other hand... he ate the entire taco. I did help out a little, but he did most of the work. He does have a bigger appetite than me though. Overall, I would come here again. Not for the Fat Amy taco though -- I feel like that was just a one time thing to see what the hype was about. Will go again - Tito's has quite an extensive menu. There are a number of good choices from their burritos to tacos. My friends and I ordered a number of menu items: wings, Ron Burgundy, fish tacos, the bird is the word, and mine being The Fat Amy... and was it FAT indeed. In being candid, it wasn't the best taco. However, that might not be the #1 priority for this food. Obviously due to the size of the taco, it was very filling and messy (in a good way). I would give it 3 stars for a taco. There's most likely better items to choose for tacos. But, if it's an experience that you want, you definitely want to order The Fat Amy. The interior is quite casual and what you would typically find for such a restaurant. It has a cool, fun vibe and decoration. There is street parking as Ridgewood Ave is one of the main streets, and there are a number of restaurants on the street and different blocks around. This was a fun place to eat! We stopped in with friends for lunch on a Sunday. The food came out quickly and it was delicious. My husband and son shared the Fat Bastard taco and we were pleasantly surprised with the filling. My daughter and I each had the bang bang shrimp tacos - very yummy. Our friends also shared a Fat Bastard taco. Front desk service was friendly. Ambiance was like a taco truck on the side of the beach. Only thing we would change is maybe the peppers and onions being cut a little smaller in the Fat Bastard and maybe a tad more shrimp in the regular sized tacos. I ordered dinner from Tito's Burritos and Wings in Ridgewood, N.J. for the first time this evening. As I was being handed my meal by my Uber delivery person, Yelp was asking me for a review before I had even opened the bag much less tasted anything which irritated me. I quickly entered some medium-positive checkmarks but no comments to clear my phone and sat down to eat. Two mouthfuls in I regretted my cavalier review reaction as I know they are very important to businesses and my first reply was so under valued I felt a bit ashamed. Let me try to correct my mistake. I ordered the Taco Bowl- something I've had from many other restaurants usually with varying degrees of success. The choices here were far more varied even having a fish option which I ve not seen before. I'd like to highlight something which pleased me very much. The order forms used by many of the online restaurants can be very confusing and restrictive making it difficult to explain what you want or what you do not want and they rarely have a comments section to explain or mention any concerns like food allergies or cooking requests. Tito's ordering format is so clear it makes it intuitive to order a meal with confidence that your choice(s) will arrive supporting your requests. My first bite however, was so incredible I actually paused the TV to concentrate on what I was experiencing. My "Adds/selections" building my Taco Bowl went an average route - ground beef, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese but added flavored rice, sweet spicy corn, two different types of salsa including pico de gallo. At the last minute before I hit send I saw a photo of a few grilled shrimp on another dish and thought- hey a few on top would be like an appetizer and that will be nice. Here is what happened. My order was processed, prepared and delivered in half the estimated time arriving so quickly in less than a half hour. I was very pleased. My first mouthful was my "appetizer" grilled shrimp sitting on the top of my attractive corn, tortilla bowl. The medium sized shrimp exploded with juicy flavor in my mouth as if it had been grilled in front of me and immediately served hot off the grill. The taste was sweet, lightly spicy but the flavor of the shrimp was so immediate it had to be fresh. I started to look around in the bowl quickly to find a second shrimp thinking there would be only three or four as an "add on" to my primary meal. However, I found another and, another and another! So many of theI thought for sure they had made a mistake. OI stopped counting at 8 but I believe there were actually more than ten. each one fresh, juicy and spiced to perfection. The charge for this 'add on' by the way was much less than I would have expected. By this time I had given up using a fork and switched to a tablespoon so I wouldn't miss any of the flavor in each bite. For those who are unfamiliar with a Taco Bowl, the Taco Bowl shell itself is edible- acting like a large corn chip of which you break off pieces as you go along scooping up the food within. Knowing that they are usually not too large, I had ordered a side order of chips to supplement the smaller 'bowl'. But MY bowl was actually quite generous in both width and depth. The small' size side order of chips I had requested occupied three medium sized paper bags. Again the food generosity was impressive especially including the shrimp; in truth, this meal could have been satisfactorily shared by two people. If you wish to see professional photos of my dinner choice look on the menu choices on their home page. For those review readers who prefer succinct, two or three word comments, I'll finish with that- delicious, fresh food from a "quick food" restaurant (not "fast food") prepared and delivered quickly in environmentally respectful packaging for a very reasonable price. I will be ordering again very soon from Tito's exploring their mouth watering menu for new experiences in delicious, tasty food. read more

I was soooooo looking forward to trying this place!!! I was excited about the huge taco that they advertise on IG. That was a BUST! Upon arrival the sign outside the door does state you need a mask to enter. Going in and ordering our food we saw the sign that stated "staff only" blocking off the seating area. Everyone bragged about this place , and I mean bragged.. My gurl at the counter was friendly and helpful but it was slow so she was trying to explain the menu to me in between bites of her food. I went with three of her taco recommendations and also got half a dozen wings, let her pick the sauce. The wings were really good I will say, the sauce reminded me of sweet Thai chili and were extra crispy the way I like. sadly the wings were the only part of the meal I enjoyed. about 10 minutes after I left I all three of my tacos and sorry to say my bang bang shrimp was undercooked and my chicken taco was like rubber... Stopped by with a friend on a Sunday afternoon. The menu has a LOT of options and was overwhelming at first. I ordered the chicken empanadas and the taco salad. The empanadas were full of flavor and had a little kick to it which I didn't mind! The sauce that comes on the side was to die for, which I could've taken a tub of it home with me! Lol. The taco salad was underwhelming despite the generous portion size. The black beans in the salad made my salad watery. There wasn't much flavor in the salad overall. I wouldn't order it again. I would've given Tito's a higher rating if it wasn't for the fact that as I was eating, there were small flies flying around my food. I didn't even get to eat half of my salad because of it. Needed a fix for some tacos and came here since it's 10 minutes from my house. I tried three tacos. The beef, fish, and chicken tenders. Fish was the best. Was given free chips and salsa with my order. Yea they are a bit on the pricey side, but it's to be expected for the area. Would come back to try the massive tacos other people get. Liars and thieves. When I received my delivery, I had paid for extra sauce for my wings. They arrived dry and without either the included blue cheese or extra ranch I had paid for. I immediately called and the manager said they were unable to deliver the sauces, and would instead refund me for the wings in their entirety. 45 days later and no refund. When I called to speak with supervisor, he was a jerk and would not take accountability for what his manager promised and never did nor did he apologize for their mistake in mispackaging my delivery order and missing key ingredients for the wings order. I've been a big fan for years and always enjoyed their burritos and nachos here. Got my usual bird is the word burrito this week but half way through my meal bit on something hard and spit it out. It was a literal stone. I was so shocked I honestly didn't know what to think. Obviously I called and asked to let the kitchen know about this as well. Apparently they don't have any decorations or anything with stones in the restaurant so I'm still confused as to where this came from. I was so grossed out and had to trash everything but was only refunded for the burrito, which I understand but just a bit frustrating since I basically paid for food I ended up throwing out. This was one of my favorite spots in town but after finding a stone in my food, it's definitely making me question what goes on in the kitchen and how sanitary it is in there. read more

I started with chips and salsa. They have a wide variety of salsa available! Then I got the veggie quesadilla, which was delicious and a very generous size. Food was served nice and hot. You order at the counter, and they bring your food to you. The employee helping us was very welcoming, and even let us put two tables together so we would have more room. They have a nice outdoor section along the sidewalk. The s'mores lollipops were a bit sweet/rich for me, but still fun to try. Someone more into dessert would probably love them!!!! read more

I recently came here again- I used to like coming once in a while. I ordered my usual quesadilla and chips to stay. They brought me an oversized cheese quesadilla in a pizza box and chips. The quesadilla was tasteless and overly cheesy. The cheese tasted, smelled and looked like the kind of cheese they pour on your nachos at a bowling alley or movie theatre. Tito's is a very small place in the heart of Ridgewood. They have everything from empanadas to chicken wings. They have a little condiments bar off to the side for different type of salsas and other greens. We ordered a chicken quesadilla and beef empanadas. We got an order of tortilla chips with our order, but it's kind of a small portion and they are very salty. The beef empanadas were pretty tasty. The crust was very crispy and the it thoroughly filled. The beef filling had a great flavor as well. The quesadillas were a little disappointing since the last time I was here. Tito's does not disappoint. We started by ordering off DoorDash. We noticed the store noticing our orders and always remembered to give our favorite roasted garlic salsa. We've tried many different things off their menu. Our favorites are making our own burritos or bowls. They pack their burritos, unlike other places, to the max. We love to heat up (super recommend!) the complimentary chips and dip into our favorite sauce. We recently dined in. Staff is super friendly and patient. Tito's is very solid Tex-Mex spot. I am a very big fan of their chicken quesadilla. For less than $12 you get a huge quesadilla stuffed with cheese and grilled chicken. The chicken is moist and flavorful and they definitely don't skimp. I don't think I've ever been to Tito's without getting a chicken quesadilla. On my most recent trip my sister and I tried two tacos, The Dude Abides and Vote for Pedro. The Dude Abides had "chocolate braised short rib with pickled radish, sliced avocado, queso fresco & fresh-cut cilantro". You could definitely taste the chocolate but I'm not sure I could place it as easily if I didn't read the menu. I could've done with a little less on the chocolate flavor because I feel like it masked the flavors of the pickled radish and cilantro. Nevertheless it was quite good. It was served with a large chunk of avocado, probably 1/3 or 1/4th of a whole. I wish the avocado was cut up a little as it made it somewhat difficult to eat. The Vote for Pedro consisted of "tender pulled pork, smoky pineapple salsa, shredded lettuce, queso fresco & pico de gallo salsa". This taco was also solid. The pulled pork was quite tender, as advertised. The smoky pineapple was present in spades. Everything went together quite well. I think I liked this one more than the Dude Abides, but the avocado in that one sorta pulls me in between the two. At $5+ for each taco I think they were a little overpriced. They were bigger than street tacos from other Mexican restaurants but tacos are significantly cheaper there too. If I'm going for tacos I'd get traditional ones elsewhere. I've also had Tito's wings several times and they were pretty good but unremarkable; not necessarily a bad thing. They also give you chips which are quite good and there is unlimited salsa at the salsa bar if you're dining in. I've never had a bad experience at Tito's. Whenever I'm in the Ridgewood area Tito's is always an option. read more

What a horrible experience. I placed my $58.00 order on line through the YELP app for pick up. The app clearly stated it was the Ridgewood location. When I arrived to pick up the order I was told I must have ordered it from the wrong location. I had no idea there are more than one location. When I checked my receipt it said Summit on it. I showed that to the guy behind the counter and he said, see you ordered it from the wrong location. I said so what happens now? He said I had two options drive to Summit to pick it up or call them and ask them for a refund and then place the order again with me and he delivered the message with a little condescending tone for impact. Really? Drive 50 minutes to Summit or spend the next 20 in the phone trying to talk them into a refund. That's the best you can do? Rather than argue with him I just decided to turn around and walk out. Never to return again. read more

TERRIBLE ATTITUDE! By the young lady who gave me my order today (December 20th at 3pm). Said her name was "Sherry" being a smart ass. I paid for extra sauce and utensils which she said were in the bag. I looked and they weren't. She puts her hand on her hip and gave me some awkward sassy remark. She was literally making fun of me. I'm 36 yrs old. I had my husband and 3 kids waiting for me. Waited outside for 15 for a burrito to only get an attitude by some snobby kid. Totally ruined what should have been an easy burrito experience. Business is down and that's not the way to retain customer loyalty. I've been to ridgewood hundreds of times and have passed Tito's burritos. I was surprised by how delicious the tacos are. I highly recommend the famous fish and bang bang shrimp tacos. $4.40-5 per taco. They give a generous amount of chips on the side. I wanted to update this review to 5 stars because I came back and the food was so Fresh and delicious. Truly a great spot in Ridgewood. It's obviously not high end but for fast food it's very good. read more
