Great experience at this restaurant! When I originally called two days before our visit, I asked if they took reservations because we had a group of 10; they said they didn't but if I gave my name and phone number they would let the staff know that we were coming. Sure enough, when we initially arrived they said it would be a 40-minute wait but as soon as I said I had called and mentioned my name, we were seated right away. The waitress was very attentive and got all of our orders correct, even with special requests (no cheese, etc.). Our food was brought quickly and was very good; my only slight complaint was that the toast was a little dry. But the omelette was fluffy and delicious and the hash browns were crispy. The restroom was clean and well-stocked. The waitress offered separate checks (although we didn't need them) and took our group's photo upon request. Welcome Home Y'all! I'm a semi local of Fredericksburg, which means this was one of the closest cities to visit and shop for any and everything. Fredericksburg is a growing city with tons of restaurants as well as mom and pop places which can be exciting and overwhelming at times. I was actually in route to another diner when my family member screamed, " wait! Let's stop there!" Of course I immediately made a U turn because my sixth sense for adventure wanted to see what the fuss was about. I'm so happy we stopped. Tito's as such a family diner, when you walk in you get a sense for community love. I was torn between the tuna melt and vegetable Omelette. They both looked so good, I couldn't choose so the staff actually surprised me. I was so happy when my tuna melt came to the table fresh, hot, and may I say delicious! Muah! Food has always been very good at Tito's. We have been going for years, mostly breakfast and lunch. Flavorful seasoning and always fresh. Fast and friendly service with great diner ambiance. Had an amazing "brunch" at tito's diner today. They are located in central park, in between starbucks and mcdonald's. Their menu consists of different options of breakfast and dinner. Both were available throughout the day. I had chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables, and mexican eggs with beans and peppers. Both were done with no problem of seasoning . Portions are amazing, that 2 people can share. That drizzle of olive oil , with cayenne powder gave a good kick to their hummus. Now for the dessert. Their desserts were very delicious. The strawberry shortcake wasn't too sweet, in fact the fresh strawberries on top, gave it that tartness that completes the whole dish. The sponge cake wasn't dense at all, in fact , it cuts like butter. I would go back to try more of their menu , and their amazing staff Emma!. Thanks Emma! Old tired looking diner. Food was awful. I ordered a falafel sandwich without the bread and got a plate with brown shriveled lettuce and limp tiny bits of tomatoes with three hard falafel. Tahini was on the side and tasted nothing like tahini. I removed all the "salad" and put it on a napkin to the side of my plate. Several waitresses walked by no one asked if everything was ok. We tried this place on a whim. The customer service was great. Unfortunately, the food was very underwhelming. It lacked seasoning. I ordered sausage gravy & biscuits. Biscuits were flat and had no flavor. The sausage gravy had no sausage and was extremely bland. The texture of the gravy was off as well. I had to throw it away because it was inedible. While working in the area, my coworker and I decided to stop in for some deli food. It helped that they serve breakfast all day long. I was in the mood for some eggs. It was quite busy in there but we were able to be seated right away. After looking over the extensive menu, I settled on the veggie omelet, which came with grits or potatoes and toast. My food was average. It was fuel in the middle of the day. I expected the omelet to be a bit more seasoned. It wasn't bad, just okay. The restaurant itself could've been a bit more clean. Flies flew throughout the restaurant and it was a bit dusty in our booth. I've seen worse but for a place that seems to have a lot of patrons come and go, it would have been a mice touch to have cleaner booths. Would I visit again? Maybe. Visited on Saturday as everyone seemed to be lining up at the newly opened Silver Diner. Asked waitress if the biscuits and gravy were good and she responded 'yes.' She was wrong. It tasted like flour-water poured over day-old biscuits. After our food was delivered, the waitress did not even check to see if we were good or our food was ok. Even though I had only eaten less than 1/4 of my plate, we were still fully charged. I will not be going back and they are going to need to improve their food and service if they are going to continue to remain open. read more

I got the bacon cheeseburger with egg, and it really hit the spot. They could've given me some more fries, though. And their desserts all looked amazing. I settled on black forest cake, which I forgot I don't really like, but it was pretty, and the chocolate part was good. Not much for the fruity part. But that wasn't their fault. Generally good, but not tonight...we ordered meals and an appetizer. Three tables sat, ate, and left before our food arrived. The waitress, with the dramatically long nails, told us she was sorry and it would be a few minutes because the staff cooking tonight were new...15 minutes later...my food was nuked from the heaters and my wife's was under cooked (like raw hamburger under cooked)...waitress dropped it and disappeared until 10 minutes after we were completely done eating to drop off the check. When my wife informed her we would not be paying for the patty melt, the waitress asked if we wanted her to have it remade...no thanks too late at this point, but she did eat the fries...so true to her, the waitress scoffs and has the sandwich removed...but left the side of fries on the check that my wife ate. Only reason for a 3 star is the great service we have had every time before this one...I hope this is not because of the former owners passing, rest his soul, that Titos has taken this severe downturn. We came in for breakfast, I ordered the Tito's Omelette with home fries and a cup of cappuccino. Omelette tasted fine, i loved the jalapenos and sauce that came with it. The home fries were something else, it tasted like it wasn't cooked all the way through and not what i expected. Usually home fries are fried but these were really raw =\ kinda disappointed in that. The cappuccino was delicious and my friend got the latte and that was a tat sweet. Her kid got the waffle with sausage links. The waffle was sweet but kinda soggy, pretty good tho, i guess i like crispy waffles, the sausage had a snap to it when bitten into... that was pretty tasty as well. Three stars for the burger and service. Delicious and juicy with melted cheese and crispy bacon. The fries, while done well, were so sparse I had to ask if it was normal. I was hoping the portion had improved since our last visit; it had not. The ladies room is disgraceful with red mold behind the faucet and both stalls in disrepair. The larger one had a TP dispenser that is so close to the toilet that you bump your arm on it--and it OPENS because it's not secure. The smaller stall was a mess from an inconsiderate user. Super cute 50's decor inside. Really cool red booths and lighting in the ceiling...I'm a sucker for red so I really loved the decor. One would expect 50's music to be playing, but it was 70's music! No big deal for me because the 70's are my era and my parents' era is the 50's so all good! Hubby ordered breakfast...always! He loved it. His fried eggs were huge and done to perfection along with his French toast. I ordered a BLT with turkey. Fries came with the sandwich. The bacon was super thin and only 2 pieces. Two pieces of lunchmeat turkey and a very not in season tomato. Fries were disappointing...too hard and really no flavor at all. The sandwich was not horrible, but not good either. We will try again though and I will try another sort of "diner food" or just order breakfast! read more

I'm not sure how this place stays open. I took my son for lunch and everything he tried to order they said they didn't have. I'm talking basics. Milkshake, burger, waffles, etc. There were only 2 other tables with people in the entire place and it look almost an hour for us to get our food. Mine was cold when it came, his fries were soggy and cold. I'm a very patient person, I was nothing but understanding to our waitress but she was being so short and rude to me. Recently we was looking for a specific diner in Fredericksburg Virginia but when we arrived, it was closed so we had to look for an alternate location and we stumbled across Tito's diner. We are so glad we did it. I will say the customer service was okay. The lady didn't notice us standing at the door for awhile and the place was pretty empty. I will say the food was made up for it. My husband had a NY diner steak and he was surprisingly happy with it for $14, my nieces had the burger and chicken fingers and they were good as well. I had turkey and mashed potatoes a staple at a diner, and I will say it was the best one I've ever had and you could tell it wasn't box gravy. It was actually gravy that they made from scratch and the potatoes were really good, so out of the 10 I will give this place a 7 1/2 they just need to work on the customer service a little other than that I would go back . I go there for breakfast! The breakfast is amazing, the waitresses are nice! I have only one grievance with the male manager and I believe a woman that is a waitress with dark black hair maybe Latina! To be in such close proximity at the food counter these two pass me several times never asked me do I need a refill? How are you this morning their diner mannerisms are not up to snuff. They seem very disassociated with me. Every time I sit at the counter I'm an excellent tipper a nonproblematic customer I know exactly what I want. However, this one woman with the long, black hair, Moreno, and what appears to be either the owner or the manager they are very nonchalant, and could feel care less and just have no Decency to acknowledge the customer smile ask for refills or even asked me if my meal is OK! However, the other waitresses are great no problems with them. I tip very well, and I myself am pleasant., but i am thinking about going to another place to eat breakfast ambience is very important to me. Good food is number one they do have good food. I will give them that, but my money wants a little more respect than that . We can all cook our own food can't we? read more

With a name Tito's in the title, I knew I was in for a treat! The decor is the 60's diner retro style, plastered with red and silver everywhere. We were seated right away and our drink order was taken immediately. It was mid day and was glad they offer breakfast all day. Service was fast (good bc I always wait when I am super hungry before I want to eat). Ordered the big breakfast that consisted pancakes, hash brown, eggs and bacon and it was plenty where I couldn't eat it all. The pancakes was sweet and buttery - so delish! Bacon was a nice hearty cut not the thin shribbly kind, and my scrabble eggs was still moist too with plenty of cheese. Hands down the best French toast in town. Tito's looks like and is run like a NY diner (love!). I've been eating here for years now at least once per month and have never had a bad meal or service. Servings are generous, food is priced right. If you're thinking about breakfast on Sunday go early or late because there's usually a line and there's a reason for the line! Worth the wait. If mistakes are made they're quickly corrected and you can't ask for more than that. They're also happy to provide to-go drinks too. 4 not 5 stars because some seating is splitting and that's just meh but it's clean and comfortable even when they're slammed. read more
