I've eaten here twice in two weeks. Both times two of us had the catfish and okra, and one person had the chicken wings and fries. I have not tried the barbecue. Ratings: Catfish - 4 Fried okra - 4 Bone-in chicken wings - 4 French fries - 3 Presentation/portion size - 4 Overall, I would give them a four. The catfish fillets are good size and well seasoned. They are fried well and crispy, but not too hard. I will say that the fish itself is a little bit wet and I suspect it is swai rather than catfish, but it is still tasty. The okra is well cooked and has a really well seasoned batter on it. My companion had the lemon pepper chicken wings and said that they were delicious. They are a good size and appeared to be pretty crispy. The french fries were fine but average. Again the portion sizes are pretty good for the price. As I said before, the catfish is so good that we went twice in two weeks. We'll definitely go back. Catfish and shrimp was really good but the beans, my one regret is that I didn't get another side of beans. Some of the best I've ever had.

I love the wings here because they are full of flavor. I get catfish and wings here and they are consistently seasoned and tasty. My favorite flavor is the buffalo garlic. My only complaint is that you will need to double whatever wait time they give you. If they say it will be ready in 20 mins, go get it after 40 min or plan to wait the extra time. The wings were saucy just how I like it. The fries were crispy and had just enough salt. The greens which was made with turkey and I love that they gave me a decent amount of turkey meat with it, I thought they were good but personally I love a lil kick with my greens so I had to add some hot sauce in it. Food was enjoyable. Catfish was tasty but a tad too salty for some. Lemon pepper wings were delicious. The fried shrimp with cocktail sauce was good. Fries were fine but nothing out of the ordinary. We had lemon pepper wings, fried catfish and fries. Wings were good and full of flavor. Fish was nice and crispy. Next time, I will try the brisket nachos, brisket mac or swamp fries. They all sound so good!! Only thing I didn't care for is that they have 3 different menus. Fantastic catfish! The hush puppies are great and surprisingly not home made. As always, I had sweet tea but, not the best but, good. Fast service. Owner is a really nice guy. Asked about others posting that he served Swai but, it's catfish. Those who post the error are mistaken and may be use to some other breading. It is in fact catfish and very well made. Okay! I have been dying for good fried fish. Nothing in DFW tastes like Bankhead Seafood in Atlanta. So, my daughter asked me to try this place out. Well, okay! I was greeted by young lady at register. She helped me pick out a meal. I thought about wings but no one's wings tastes as good as ATL. I ordered fish and shrimp. Not bad. The fish was fried hard like I like it. The side order of okra was tasty, not mushy, like some places. The shrimp was breaded good and crunchy. I'm assuming the owner was there. He greeted his common customers, held conversations, and even hugged some of the patrons that had visited before. This is a homie little pub. Good for a weekend hangout after work. Went there for lunch. Food is always prepared othe spot and their fries are amazingly crispy but not skinny like McDonald's. I had bone-in wings because boneless wings are just nuggets. They put a lot of sauce on their wings and they're very messy which just adds to the experience of eating wings. Friendly staff and good food. This place is awesome!!! So I went with some friends and ordered wings with fries. The service was not the fastest, but they were very kind. I ordered BBQ hot wings with fries and they were reasonably priced. The cashier was nice and pacient with me as I ordered. My meal was amazing , the flavors were AWESOME!!! And omg the fries were so delicious !!! My friends ordered the fried catfish, fried shrimp, and corn puffs. They enjoyed their meal. The atmosphere was great, they also have these cool stadium seats at the back so it'll be great for a sports night . The restaurant was quite empty, but it is BYOB! I have been a customer here since it was "Wings to Go" and might I say, I like the expansion of the space and the menu. Today, I had the Swamp Nachos and a daiquiri which were both great. So, I've had this spot bookmarked for a min but am hardly in this area. So when my lady and I were out this way Sunday evening, I was like "I want catfish". Since the menus they had weren't posted recently, I didn't want to call in the order. So we arrived and were able to browse the menu, while the young lady was taken a phone order. Even though my fries weren't hot (because of the distance to get home), they were still pretty tasty and the fish was cooked to the crispness that I like and seasoned good.
