This place was a staple when I was growing up. Some of the best memories we had were coming here with the boys and grinding a big bargain special. Sadly, it has gone tremendously downhill. Fries are different and worse and probably a money saving method at the sacrifice of quality. The buns used to taste great. They had a patent on the bread. Today it tastes off and not what it used to be. Definitely cutting corners every route possible. When I was in there most recently every order came back with complaints. "My fries are cold," or "this burger is over cooked" etc... I hate to say I won't be back, but when I see Trump memorabilia on the wall it makes me never want to step foot in there again. Trump merch ain't welcome in my town. You want to fly that stuff, I will gladly see to it that your business goes under. This place has a decent burger but to charge .50 cents extra for grilled onions and put like a single piece of soggy cold onion on there is a little ridiculous. Also we got a shake which was by far the worst shake I've ever had my entire life. Not even being sarcastic it was so gross! Literally tasted like plastic or something! Tasted like plastic chemicals or something just threw it out! But it doesn't stop there! Paid just about $5 for onion rings and got like 6 rings which were cold and gross af! Nice little burger place! My therapist recommended it when we were in town for treatment, saying they had the best fries in town! Nice homemade burgers, the fries were perfect. Hubby's only complaint was that the burgers seemed a bit too salty, but he wound up finishing mine so apparently it wasn't too bad. Lol. My husband is a burger man and this place did not disappoint him. They have outdoor tables for dining which are kept clean and sanitized after every patrons exit. We ordered the rib eye steak combo ($10). It comes with thick cut yummy fries. His recommendation is to eat the burger right away instead of eating it later. Plenty of parking available. It has a hole in the wall appearance. The smoke from the chargrilled burgers smell awesome from the parking lot. There is no air conditioner inside, no rugs, cheap seats, and nothing fancy. There is seating outside as well. It's located near the the cool Unlab complex and El Pollo Loco. Parking can be tough, but I found the last open spot. This place reminds me of the Wahoo's Fish Tacos down the street. It's got this kind of surf theme, with lots of stickers and decals you will see at Yahoo's. Lots of surfer decked boys and girls were here but they were NOT talking about surfing but on their i-Phones texting . And unlike Yahoos that serves healthy grub, this place is all about juicy, greasy cholesterol inducing burgers and fries. Looking around, it seemed the most ordered item is the cheeseburger special with Fries and medium soda for $6.00. I opted for the burger combo, no cheese. They place was busy but the employees were efficient. The burger came out in about 10 minutes. Not too many seats so I decided to eat it in my car where I could take a picture without being too obvious. It looked beautiful, smelled great, and I couldn't wait to indulge. When I took a bite however, the soft bun - which had absorbed those delicious burger juices - wasn't grilled very much, and couldn't hold up, and it was smashed and caked up under my teeth. TK isn't as cheap as In-N-Out but their portions make up for the price. TK is one of those staples where you come here and you fall in love with the soft, chewy potato bun and the slightly burned, charbroiled flavor of the patty. And of course they also have their own version of crack sauce. I put that sauce on the burger and also use it as dipping sauce for my fries. TK serves steak fries. I recommend you sprinkle on some of their seasoning before devouring them all. If you own a company or need to find a home for excess stickers or bumper stickers, bring them to TK and stick them anywhere. Literally, anywhere. Simply wrapped in foil, They have outdoor seating, and your choice of cheese on the finest charbroiled burger you can feast your jaws on. They also have smushy ice, you know that super sick tiny ice nugget of goodness. The major hack is calling ahead in advance to pick up at the outdoor window. Be sure to request extra TK sauce because it's the hit, and they'll give you extras. And don't forget the Cajun salt to sprinkle on your fries. read more

Burgers were good but definitely doesn't make up for the bad service When I got there I realized I didn't have my mask but luckily they had a window outside for take out which was actually pretty convenient for me but seemed like a major inconvenience for them. As I took my order I was interrupted by a "cash or card". I said card and was received with eye rolls and the cashier obnoxiously move the card ready an slam it in front of me. Ok... so I continued to order then hesitated a bit to make sure I knew what I wanted in The burger. To that the cashier looked at me, tilted her down, made a circle motion with her pen as if to say "Speed it up". ...... (mind I was the only one in line. So check it out, I really like TK Burgers. There is so much good about this place and I highly recommend you pay them a visit. The burgers are yummy! I love how the lettuce is crisp and cold while the meat and the onions are hot and fresh. The 1000 island burger sauce is super great, I always get a little extra. The fries are good and of your looking for a back yard style burger I think this place is one of the best. The restaurant location is nit that great. I think it's an old ice cream shop, maybe from the 1960's. There is no drive through and that really sucks and there is not really a nice place to sit and eat so we just take the food to go and literally eat the yummy burger in the car. This place also provides food at the local high school, they have a truck and it goes to all the football games and a few of the other events. It's really nice when we pull up and we can smell the yummy food from the parking lot. I always try and provide both positive and negative feedback so that the owners and managers can use my review to improve the business. I will tell you a couple things it really turned me off about this place, one it's cash only and I think that really sucks. I actually don't go there sometimes even though it sounds really good because I don't have the cash. I'm not sure if the owner doesn't wanna pay credit card fees or he wants to make more money when you use his ATM machine but either way I think it's wrong for a business to not except debit and credit cards. The other thing that is kind of disappointing to me is that the staff for the most part is made up of younger people. I don't see anyone with experience running the place and the last tine I was there there was a female employee text on her phone for several minutes before she realized that a customer had walked in. The other customer even looked over at us and kinda shrugged his shoulders and we kind of laughed under our breath. All in all I think this place is really yummy, they have a great product and multiple locations and I think if you have not been here you need to definitely put this place on your burger wish list. I have to say, this place was good, but for the price I paid (20 something for a cheeseburger, a turkey burger, and onion rings), it is definitely horrible value for your money. Good cheeseburgers, but it looks and tastes like something I could make at home. The onion rings were the frozen ones you can buy at Costco but the portions were surprisingly small for the price that we paid for them. My wife did not enjoy her turkey burger at all. Attempted to go to the Anti-mall next door to eat but the parking was a shit-show as usual. Passed by this place and the smoke coming out of it made it look legit so we went in. As we were parking, I noticed 3 stars on this place, I wondered- how bad can a burger place be? Wrong, so wrong. My first impression walking in, it's god a cute beachy vibe, then as I got to the cashier to order, I realized half their menu was based on up-charges! They charged for any sauces (even if you ordered onion rings), to make your burger lettuce wrapped, if you wanted a drink with your "meal", if you wanted the onions on your burger grilled, etc. It's literally like if you took In & Out's menu and added the same amount of items of food in up-charges. Food 1/5: With all the competition around this place from In & Out (down Bristol), Umami (across the street), McDonald's (2 avail on Bristol), and Jack-in-the-Box (on Bristol). I don't get how they can't do simple things like add flavor to their TK sauce or just toast the bun. It tasted like if you went to Costco and bought ingredients to make a burger and this is what you came up with, except you're paying someone to make it for $5 for a regular Cheeseburger or $6 something for the turkey burger. Don't order the Turkey Burger btw, that sh*t nasty. It tasted gamey so it might've been old or had freezer burn? Price 1/5: This is where I was most turned off with. I get that the burgers here are basic, the least I don't mind doing is pay someone to make my food for me but at $5 average a burger where there's an upcharge for any altering of your food, it's a little ridiculous. Service 2/5: The cashier wasn't the nicest, I was literally standing there in front of her while she had her head down looking at orders to push out to customers. Kind of wish she'd say "be right with you" right away instead of making it awkward. This is the type of service I'd expect paying for a $1 burger at McDonald's. Ambiance 5/5: It's cute, looks like a beach hut type of burger place. Wasn't dirty. Overall- Not impressed. Do yourself a favor, drive down the street and go to In & Out instead. read more

If I could give no stars I would. The quality of the burgers have gone down through the years. I should have been forewarned. I still took a chance and doordash'd only to discover a raw burger covered in cheese that I stopped eating followed by the harsh case of food poisoning that night. I thought it would be a nice to support our local place during this pandemic. My wife and I ordered two "Bargain Burgers". She ordered hers with no tomato and cheddar cheese. I ordered mine with everything and pepper jack cheese. Her order came out fine, however mine was dry, we're talking two buns and a hamburger patty. To make things worse my hamburger patty was undercooked. To make things even worse, when we got back into our car to open the bag a couple of flies flew out of the bag. Typically this place is pretty decent for the price - especially the bargain deal combo. Today was a little different.. I called in an order for the bargain deal combo and specifically asked for "no cheese and no sauce" since the deal is for a cheeseburger. When I got there, I was paying and made sure with the cashier that my burger had neither of those things and she confirmed. I've had places mess up before so I saved myself the headache and checked the burger on my way out - and of course it had cheese. No worries, stuff happens. I went back to the cashier and told her that I asked for "no cheese, no sauce" and she apologized and got me a new burger right away. Well so much for a NO CHEESE burger. Looks like they scraped off the cheese and then flipped the patty so I wouldn't see it. Really? Monday 11/22 12:00pm I'm shocked at the customer service experience I just had while ordering takeout for lunch. I had my order taken by a young girl, sat down, waited 5 minutes or so for my food, not a problem at all. I am 100% certain I had ordered no pickles, as I pointed to the sign displayed on the register as well as clearly verbalizing it. I do not like pickles, I love tomatoes; I never take off tomatoes. My number was called, when I took the bag, I realized it said, no tomato instead of no pickles, as I had ordered. Again, not a problem in the slightest. She took it back to the chefs, and then began loudly talking to the chefs, saying: "She ordered it wrong, she ordered no tomatoes but she thought she said no pickles" etc. The whole time, I can HEAR THEM. This went on for about a minute, with me standing right there. I chimed in (I probably shouldn't have, but was already having a bad day), and said "I ordered no pickles, you can put the tomatoes back on." The young girl waved her hand dismissively at me, without even looking at me, and said "YOU'RE FINE." When she finally came back with the bag to the counter, she hands it to me without a word and without looking at me, and I say, "You don't need to lie about your mistake to them and blame it on others." She responded "whatever." Her older female coworker also working the register gave me what seemed to be an apologetic smile. Interesting choice of employee for a customer-facing role. Rude and abrasive. This experience was wholly trivial, but someone who treats customers like that should not be working in any realm of customer service. read more

The cheeseburger is flavorful and a good size portion. The fries are crispy, however I would have liked a few more with my meal.
