I needed free-backing drum brakes installed on my boat trailer, along with all the wiring. My trailer originally didn't have brakes, and I thought it would be a simple project--but I was completely wrong. I found this company on Google, gave them a call, and just three days later they came out to do the installation. My first impression was excellent. They were friendly, professional, and even cracked a few jokes while explaining exactly what they were going to do and how long the job would take. Their work truck was clean, they were well-organized, and all three technicians were professional and respectful. I left them working in my garage while I went to work, and when I came home a few hours later, everything was finished. The installation was outstanding. My garage was spotless, the brake system looked professionally installed, and all the wiring was neatly hidden inside the trailer frame instead of hanging underneath. The attention to detail really stood out. I've already put a few hundred miles on the trailer and launched my boat several times, and everything has worked flawlessly. My car was completely disabled and the brakes were grinding metal to metal and in less than 1 hour I was up and running again! I figured I'd have to pay more for the convenience of having him come to me and for the speedy service but it was the opposite. What a pleasant surprise! I will never use another mechanic again.

I truly believe that any mechanic I have ever met, including my own brother, would have found a way to shake some coin off of me before helping me solve a problem, but Nick was up front about the prices (more than reasonable) and knowledgeable, giving me some troubleshooting ideas and a few options to best accomodate me. I won't bore you with the details (I have a small leak in my hydraulics), but I appreciate that he didn't insist that I make repairs, like a doctor or a dad would do. And he wanted to know how my troubleshooting worked out, calling him back either way, like a date dropping you off at your house and waiting for you to turn on your porch light to make sure you're safe. Anyway, this might sound weird, but I am actually looking forward to my next automobile issue because I want to give Nick my business. Called WeGo2U and they made it run. They checked the charging output from the generator, as well as helping us understand the electrical panel and battery shut off switch. They quoted me way under anyone else that I had called prior to going with them. I will recommend A-1 Muffler Express to all of my friends and family. They all make you feel that you're part of the family. They offered me coffee and cold water while I waited for my car to be done. They were able to help diagnose my problems. They found a few other things that I was not aware of what is most important to me is that they showed me exactly what was going on they explained it to me in a way that I could understand and we're extremely friendly. These guys are Masters at the craft. They helped me prioritize what was most important but also worked with me to stay in my budget. I have a list of future work that they also helped me prioritize. I want to keep my 7.3 diesel on the road for a long time this is the place to get it done. I'll be returning there pretty soon to rebuild my front end and a few other things that needed to get done. Dan is very helpful and patient so please be patient with him. Allow yourself some extra time but trust me this is the place you want to go with your Ford diesel. I hang out with a few other guys that also have 7.3 diesel engines. This is gonna be our spot. I think even more importantly is that each thing that was explained helped me leave with a better working knowledge of my engine. They even gave me very solid maintenance advice that I could either bring to them or do you want my own. Since my truck was out of warranty, I wasn't sure where to turn. I reached out through Yelp and heard back from Ed almost immediately. He had a good idea of what might be wrong and invited me to bring the truck in for an assessment. After inspecting it, he identified damage (caused by rats) to the transmission wiring harness, which had unfortunately caused internal damage. He walked me through everything clearly and provided a very reasonable estimate for a full rebuild. Throughout the entire process, Ed was easy to communicate with, always professional, and genuinely helpful with his advice. What really stood out was how he went above and beyond after the repair. I was told this type damage might be covered under my comprehensive auto insurance. Ed then took the time to work directly with my insurance company--providing detailed documentation and expert insight. Because of his effort and experience, the claim was approved and the repair ended up being fully covered. That level of service is rare these days. It is a not a stand alone building and does not have a waiting area, but there are local businesses and fast food eateries just down the street where you can wait.
