Get it crispy. The burrito comes with two chili relleno with beans. - Steak Burrito - the best steak burrito I've had. It's so good I want to come back all the time for this. Very flavorful! - Bean and Cheese - a classic. There is something about their beans! It's so good! I have heard that their breakfast burritos and tamales are popular and definitely want to try that! This place was hard to find. Google maps took me to Lamar's donuts. I almost gave up but they had a sign in the driveway advertising tamales so I figured they must be there. I found this restaurant by the urgent care center. It was a small location, no seating inside or out. So Yelp is wrong about outdoor seating available, unless you want to sit on the sidewalk curb. The steak tacos were so yummy! And the hot salsa was delicious as well. Spicy and flavorful but not burn your face off hot. I can't wait to try more. read more

The tamales are the best I've had since leaving Cali. Unfortunately the hours aren't late enough to pick up dinner on my way home from work. They also run out of tamales almost daily. Absolutely the BEST burritos in the Denver Metro Area, I would even say the best in all of Colorado. I have tried nearly every breakfast in the area and these are leaps and bounds above the rest. Their salsa is out of this world, the green chili is phenomenal, and the burrito ingredients are always fresh and never overcooked. I could rave about this place all day. Please avoid the viral burrito places and go to this cute little storefront for the best burrito you will ever eat. Man you really gotta be bad for me to rate a burrito 2 stars. Unfortunately that was my experience when I ordered a breakfast burrito from here the other day. It's like everything that could be wrong was. :( let's start with the order: a bacon, egg, cheese, and hash brown breakfast burrito add beans. Firstly the eggs...just awful. I am 99% positive these are those powdered eggs you get when you stay at some chain hotel that offers a free breakfast..you know the ones they make because they don't actually have a kitchen. Don't believe me, look at the picture lol. A picture is worth 1000 words they say, and those eggs don't look right. Next the hashbrowns, not even remotely cooked through so a mushy pile of potatoes taking up space. I guess the bright side is they prevented more fake eggs from being in there lol. Beans were alright, like they weren't as bad as the other ingredients but they weren't anything special either. And lastly the bacon...or what I could find of it anyways. I have to imagine in total there was like maybe half a piece chopped up in there. It was actually a pleasant surprise when I came across a bite with bacon because it at least brought a salty flavor to that bite, sadly they were just few and far between. Alas I am not sure I would give this spot another chance because honest If you are using powdered eggs for one, that just isn't right; and for two, it makes me question where else are you cutting corners??? Seen this place a few times always said I need to try it. My wife wanted tamales it was Sunday and my regular place was closing soon so we tried it. One dozen pork tamales for 18 dollars and got some of the worst tamales around. They are just small rolls of unflavored masa the "chili & pork" was minimal at best. I ordered the crispy chili relleno burrito and it was really good. The relleno was very crispy. The beans were great and the burrito was overall a great size. My only complaint was that it was a little bland - they only have mild green chili. I did however appreciate that their green chili is vegetarian, so that was a win! read more

I was so excited to see a Mexican restaurant open up finally. Sorry to say I was super disappointed and will not be back. I got some breakfast burritos and some green and red tamales. The burritos were horrible all of them had raw potatoes (fries) in them. Mine had a slight refrigerator taste like the eggs or something was cooked ahead of time and left uncovered in the fridge over night. The green Chile had no heat at all. The red tamale was so dry I chocked as I tried to swallow the dry meat. The green tamale was okay nothing that would bring me back. I feel as though it was a complete waste of money and time. I really wanted to like this place and I really wanted a good neighborhood Mexican restaurant close by for tacos, tamales, and burritos but it looks like I'll still be looking. read more

My girlfriend and I have been visiting Mexican restaurants all over Colorado looking for the best green chili. We have had some great meals. This place unfortunately was disgusting and really just pathetic. We got a breakfast burrito and beef and been burrito and paid extra for both to be smothered in green chili. Both burritos didn't seem to be smothered at all. That's when we noticed the burritos were on top of some odd runny weird looking sauce. Not authentic green chili and not anywhere close to it. So gross! The eggs were bland and rubbery and the bacon was soggy and just a disaster. The beef had an off flavor and was over cooked. Anyone giving this place 4-5 stars must have Covid and can't taste how disgusting this food is. I wouldn't eat here ever again even if it was free. read more

This place is grab and go with mask wearing precautions in place for all patrons so it feels safe and guidelines are well followed for COVID. We got bacon breakfast burritos with medium salsa (served in small cups on the side). The bacon was crispy and chopped. The salsa inside the burrito made it moist and flavorful. And for $4 the value is spot on- not overly huge, but one will fill you up. Definitely recommend if you need a quick but filling, well made breakfast! Tlaquesalsa is in my neighborhood, so when I was looking for a place to pickup burritos for some of the guys at work on a weekend, I noticed they were open and I dropped in. Their breakfast burritos are fantastic; fresh and delicious. I remembered them the next time I was lining up food for the guys ahead of a holiday, and they were able to fulfill a large order to pickup the following morning without any issues. All of the folks at work were raving about how good the burritos were, asking specifically where they came from. This is now my go-to place for burritos, and I look forward to trying the tacos they recently added to the menu.
