After reading all the Yelp reviews, I decided to go to TLC, even though there were several other tire places closer to home. I had a nail in my tire. I spoke to Eddy, who took the nail out and said no leak, only a small nail. No charge. I gave him a nice tip, he was very honest and a stand up guy!! This place ROCKS!! I hope the owner reads this! I would happily give TLC Tires 10stars! Ramone helped me immediately on a Friday afternoon without appointment. These guys earn their money - it's a tiny location with room for 2 vehicles & they use hand jacks. My vehicle: I was already aware that I would soon need to replace my 2front tires when a colleague made mention of a low tire, which led us to further investigation... and sure enough my drivers side rear tire had a nail. The closest station was helpful in guiding me to go the extra few blocks because they didn't have a plug. I am sooo grateful. For going the extra two blocks I saved myself a ton of time & $money. The rear tire was patched for $15, in less than 15 minutes!!! This instead of plugging it (which widens the hole, which was quite close to the wall of the tire), thanks for the info - cred to Ramone @ TLC Tires #3. I then priced 2 new front tires, which they had in stock, and when inspected they pointed out the passenger side tire was already beginning to show a 'bubble' in the wall, which I never would've noticed, btw. Once spotted, it can't be 'unseen', it was huge, ready to pop. I purchased them & asked the full size spare be checked. I was again educated further regarding the state of my spare tire - situated, fully exposed, underneath the cargo area of my circa 2000 vehicle. While the tread on it looked great, it was visibly aged, super dry & cracked all around the wall of the tire in two full circles. He demonstrated using pressure (pushing it with his hand), & water. I switched the better of the 2 front tires for the spare and disposed of the cracked spare and the bubbled front, after being given the choice to keep them. I now have a super smooth ride, peace of mind with the good spare and didn't have to take out a loan over it! Summary: (All for less $$$ than 2new tires at Discount Tire) This whole experience was well under an hour for: all the information, a patch on the rear tire, 2 new front tires, the spare getting switched/handled, they mounted/balanced/disposed and even threw in a couple of cosmetic fixes (tightening of screws on interior handle, etc) Conclusion: I highly recommend TLC Tire #3 and will return for all my tire needs, & highly complement Ramone on his efficiency, efforts & customer service, to: Ramone, his boss, & the public. Meanwhile, on a side note, there are a few businesses behind the 76 station where this is nestled & in speaking with the smog guy, in the next bay, learned a bit of his business ethics. I will go to him over another smog shop in the future as well. read more

Last week I had a flat, my mom recommend this place so I went. The guy that helped me just took my tire and fixed it. I honestly thought I needed a new one. Today I had another flat but went to a closer location because my bf insisted. Total fail, they put in a smaller tire. So instead we come hear, and yes he confirmed the tire was smaller. I'm a fan of used tires simply because... I'm a wheel whore. All my wheels are JDM Volk, Work, etc etc and frankly buying new tires is impractical if you're replacing your wheels regularly. What I love about this place is they have plenty of 19" low profile tires in matching pairs with lots of tread. Most used tire locations I go to have mismatched tires and about 30% tread. Every pair I've bought here had 60-80% tread for only $50 each mounted and balanced. I can't vouch for their balancing because my wheels vibrated more after balancing, i would just scraped them off after they did it and vibration was minimal since my wheels are forged, not cast. I think it's more because they put too much weights on. As the other reviewer mentioned, they are legit used tire guys. read more

Cheap, fast and no nonsense. They warned me that plugging the tire in my wife's car was temporary and likely a bad idea, and it was. They mounted and balanced several sets of tires for my 24 Hours of Lemons racecar for about $10 a piece. That's about 1/2 what anyone else will charge you, and they didn't give me any grief because I had bought the tires from a mail order place and just came to them for the labor. read more

This place Is the BEST!!! Fast, friendly, professional service and not even expensive! I had a very slow leak in one of my tires. Another mechanic inspected and said nothing was wrong. The tire still leaked. I went to these guys and they IMMEDIATELY found a one inch screw in the tire. they quickly repaired the tire and had me back on the road in no time.
