When you ask for a price they may tell you is something it isn't so they can up their prices (know what you are selling as the seller and protect yourself as a buyer). I overheard him talking to another customer when they asked the price of an item and he said $20. The person said "oh wow ok I won't get it." He replied, "Well we have to start somewhere." He has used this line on me before as well. When the person said they have attended other estate sales and the item they were looking to purchase is usually around $5, he replied that they are one of the cheapest companies out there. NOT TRUE AT ALL! They are one of the most EXPENSIVE, and in a nutshell, bad customer service. And before you (Veteran's Estate Sales) reply to this and thank me for your 1 star review, for serving in the military, I appreciate your service and protecting our country.... T&C was refreshingly straightforward and fair. Scheduling was simple as well. Someone picked up right away, and if I left a message, they called back promptly. It was nice to actually speak to a real person instead of an automated system. On moving day, Daniel and Lance showed up ready to work. They were friendly, professional, and really careful with everything. They packed and protected all of our items, including a huge, awkward couch that could have been a nightmare. Watching them handle it with ease made the whole process feel smooth and without worry. By the end of the day, what could have been a stressful, exhausting move felt manageable and even kind of enjoyable. If I ever move in the area again, T&C will definitely be my first call.

Used them for a second move one year later and completely different experience! - the guys tried to bring on one of their friends as a helper and then tried to add the cost to my quote at the end without approval. I of course argued it and told him to call the owner and he removed the cost. - they used my drill without permission (no biggie) but then took it with them. I had to call the office to get it back and I was told the mover guy said "she said here you go." I had no problem with them using it but they should've asked not just take it from my open tool bag. They also should've been prepared!!! - when we were done I checked the back of the trucks with them to confirm nothing was left and they seemed empty. Few hours later one of the guys brought back two of our small TVs. I asked the owner and he said they were in the cab and "missed them." - I had the cords and wiring for my two large flat screens taped in a bag to the TVs. Those bags were lost. By the time I found the cords for the TVs (about a little under two weeks after the move) I plugged them in and two of my four TVs were broken. I called the office, text the owner and ZERO Response! I've waited for a response or resolution before posting this review and at 60 days later still no response. I had two tv technicians scheduled to mount them confirm the damage with me. I had great service the first time which is why I used them again. The second time it was horrible and I'm saddened that being loyal to a business means you get crappy service the second time around. I will never use this company again! Especially after I had to go out and buy new TVs. We are still missing some items and can't find them but I won't assume it's poor handling, just not sure how they got lost in 20 mile ride perhaps those boxes were in the cab with my small TVs. -
