TnT Smog is a great smog check station. I brought in my vintage (2001) BMW and forgot the paperwork. They said neither age nor missing paperwork was a problem. It took ~15 minutes to complete and pass the test. expert tips ========= 1) they take vintage cars as stated 2) if you do bring a vintage car, be sure and know where your OBD II port is. I came into the shop maybe an hour or 2 before closing and no one was there manning the shop. It was lightly raining and dark but the garage door was wide open. I think there may have been that door sound when you walk in. Probably took the guy like 5minutes to come out. I needed a smog check and this is one of the few places still open after work for me. It was maybe $55 here and was really quick. No problems with the DMV after it was done and I got my sticker. Last place I went to I got charged over $150 so I'd say I will come here next time I need a smog check. I've used this station on several occasions. I have had nothing but good experiences here. It can get busy, however, the past 2 times, I've been in and out very quickly. You don't need an appointment. I've always gone in as a walk-in. The customer service is not the best. The receptionist can sometimes be a little abrupt. I tolerate her lack of customer service training. They accept cash, Visa and Master Card only. This is the one station to which a DMV representative gave a good recommendation. Two year smog check was due for my Honda Civic so I brought it in on Saturday. It was two younger guys working there, the owner was not present. There was one person ahead of me, but it took about 50 minutes before they tried working in my car. What do you know, my car went in without a check engine light, and suddenly the check engine light turned on from sitting in their shop idling. They told me they could reset the CEL, but I'd have to drive an hour and a half and come back. Oh yeah, $60 for the whole process. What a joke, I never came back after that. After driving 500 miles to prep Honda's emission system for the smog testk, I went to another smog check place on Main St, near the other side of town. $39 and the Honda Civic passed with shining colors. These dishonest people unplugged my battery to make the check engine light go on. Customers beware! read more

I went to TnT for a smog test. I paid $60, but it didn't pass. I was told I had one month to come back for a re-test and pay only $10. I went back a month later, but the place was closed. I was there at 4:30pm even though the sign says they close at 5pm. I called the next day and asked for a few extra days to come back for the re-test at $10 since they had been closed the day before. The guy on the phone said he would give me an extra couple days for the re-test. I showed up a couple days later, but they didn't want to honor the re-test price anymore. He wanted me to pay full price. I waste of my time and money. Stay away from this place. Go to Morgan Hill smog is just around the corner and great service for only $40 vs $70 at TNT read more

i accidentally ended up at this smog shop instead of another highly reviewed smog shop. There were two guys in the shop and i approach them with a used car i bought , they informed me that my odometer could have potential rollback, because of the car i bought having really low original miles. i told them i checked carfax for odometer fraud and the engine vin matched with the original vin to the car ; they smirked and continued to question it making me feel as if i got ripped off or something . they claimed there system showed higher miles then when previous smogged which they had no facts just speculation. the last smog was done at 40k miles 2021 and my smog was done at 41k . Bottom line here is that they kept insulting me and going against my good judgment. saying oh this isn't original or this has been replaced. I wouldn't be surprised if these guys lie and give you some BS story on your parts or car. i wouldn't recommend going to these guys, very unprofessional and higher priced then the other smogs around the corner from there. they charge 50$ and you can get a smog coupon for the other shop for 29.95$. hope these guys learn to not run there mouths about something that don't know where there talking about . read more
