I can't believe I never reviewed this spot. Breakfast is one of my fav things to eat and this is my favorite breakfast place. I normally get the avocado BLT omelette which is avocado, spinach, tomato, and Vermont white cheddar with multigrain toast. The home fries are a mix of regular and sweet potatoes and are seasoned just right. We dined there yesterday and my husband and I split the apple crumb pancakes. My husband had turkey Reuben which was the best he ever had. I also had a cupcake cappuccino which was delish. Of course we took home the graham cracker grinds to go! The host was extremely rude as I asked for a table for two and our pup. I noticed tables outside and she abruptly told me no those weren't available. I understand fcfs but this is the second time I've driven to this establishment and have not eaten or been served. Toast is one of my favorite breakfast spots in all of LI. I usually get something off their vegan menu and I am never disappointed. Went there last in October and they had these delicious pancakes. I revisited Toast today to enjoy their classic avocado toast with salad. You can choose French fried, home fries or salad. The balsamic vinaigrette was delicious but the whole grain toast with avocado is savory. A little too much red onions but overall a very tasty yet healthy dish. My sweet friends threw me a baby sprinkle here this month. We were given a separate area, which we greatly appreciated for our group of 11. I mean, pregnancy cravings had me wanting the cinnamon French toast with a side of home fried potatoes (no onions please!) And since I wasn't able to be drinking mimosas I got my ever-faithful chai tea latte. The chai came out barely warm but I was thirsty and didn't feel like sending it back or whatever, so really that is the only complaint I have from today. I would join the wait list a bit earlier than what the "estimated time" says on the website because my 5-10 min wait turned into 8-13 min into 20-25min (not sure how accurate this is). I returned because I really enjoyed my Domingo burrito last time I came. Unfortunately, it was not on the menu when I went today (maybe its a Sunday menu only considering its name? - not sure). I got the Southwest Breakfast Burrito this time around. I didn't love it as much compared to the Domingo Burrito and the burrito fell apart in my hands and had to eat it with a fork and a knife after one bite. Otherwise, the food is cooked very well, alot of flavors! Also, I love how everyone gets different unique mugs for their cup of coffee. It jumped from a 10 minute wait to a 50 minute wait very quickly. We had the mimosa flight, one of their skillets, and the Nashville fried chicken and sweet potato waffles. Waffles were nice and moist, and already sweet, so there is No syrup needed. Finally getting around to reviewing this place. Came to check it out quite some time ago with my coresidents from the hospital. The place is quite spacious and we were welcomed right away. They had a large menu with many options for food and a really nice menu for drinks. The corned beef hash combo was just calling out to me and I had to try it. It was delicious and just the best form of comfort food. It definitely needed more spice in my opinion and the staff were more than accommodating with multiple options of hot sauce.
