My husband and I had VERY different experiences when we came to this location. I'm sad that his experience was not ideal. I can totally understand why he doesn't want to comeback. He ordered the biscuits and gravy meal, and his food was COLD when they brought it out. He told me, so I touched it and informed the waitress. The eggs were cold, cold- like they had been sitting for at least 10 minutes. The hash-browns were cold. Just not good. The waitress apologized and my husband had to wait 15 minutes for them to remake his meal. Meanwhile, I had already scarfed my food. My poor husband had to sit there, watching me eat, while his food was re-made. It came out hot the second time, which is good. My husband said the gravy was not his favorite. He always judges a breakfast place by the gravy. For some reason that is really important to him lol On the other hand, my experience was GREAT. I actually loved my meal! The shrimp ceviche was extremely fresh and I love the presentation. The granola salad was a real surprise! The whipped ricotta was so light and delicious. I enjoyed the fresh fruit and warm mini pancakes. Both of these dishes were a win for me. Ambiance was crowded/. Very busy. We waited an hour just to be seated. The noise level was exceptionally high. It was hard to have a conversation with my husband. This is not the place if you want to have a nice, quiet breakfast/ brunch experience.

Between 3 and 4 so rating up - toast was a cute little place. More of your typical breakfast place (some items could be a little pricier than expected but ya know .. today's economy). Anyways, the toast did look good in pictures but the crème brûlée (the one we got) fell a little flat , I'd probably try the tiramisu one. Staff was super nice and quick! Wait times also weren't too bad which is great when you ar hungry for brunch!

Went here last weekend to celebrate my friend's birthday with a group of 8 (plus a toddler!) the day before Mother's Day, so we already expected a wait. We called ahead and were quoted about an hour, but ended up waiting closer to 2 hours after checking in. Honestly though, with the holiday weekend and our big group, we understood. While waiting outside, they had Jenga and Connect 4 set up, which was a nice touch and definitely helped pass the time. The restaurant itself had a lively brunch atmosphere and was clearly packed all morning. Once we got seated, our server Ryan took care of us right away. She got our drinks and food orders in quickly, and honestly the turnaround time for everything was surprisingly fast considering how busy it was. Ryan was super fun, attentive, and really matched the energy of our group. She even brought out a little birthday treat for my friend, which was sweet! My friend and I both ordered the "life size" mimosas -- which isn't shocking because of the glass size, but because it's basically a whole bottle of champagne LOL. Huge shoutout to Ryan for recommending the freshly squeezed orange juice because it balanced everything perfectly and wasn't overly sweet at all. I ordered the Mind Your Own Biscuits & Gravy. Solid, classic brunch dish, and the hash browns had an amazing crunch to them. Overall, pretty standard brunch food, but the great service from Ryan really made the experience enjoyable!

My experience at Toast was a great one. I made a last-minute reservation for a large party, and the hostess worked with me to secure a reservation close to the time we originally wanted and get us seated in a timely manner. They did seat us separately, which wasn't what we would have preferred; however, we understand that the reservation was made last minute and we were also on a time crunch, so getting seated quickly was a priority. I know it's not easy accommodating a large group, especially on a busy day, and given our time constraints, I was initially nervous about whether we would be seated and served on time. However, the staff was organized, patient, and friendly throughout, and everything ran smoothly. Despite how busy it was, we received our food promptly, and everything came out well-presented and delicious. The chilaquiles were especially flavorful, and the egg omelet and potatoes were also excellent. Our group also ordered the Korean ribs, which were very tasty, and the French toast as well! For drinks, our group wasn't a big fan of the iced coffee, and the mimosa flights were a bit too sweet for my personal preference. I only really enjoyed two out of the four options. That said, they were beautifully presented and very photogenic. One thing we really appreciated was that they accommodated separate checks for such a large group, which made paying much more convenient. The space offers both indoor and outdoor seating. It is on the smaller side, but they still managed to accommodate our group comfortably. Overall, it was a really positive experience, and I'd definitely consider returning.

Wait is long so remember to join waitlist well before you visit the restaurant. We joined the waitlist around 30 minutes before we arrived and then wait for another 40 minutes onsite. The service is attentive and friendly. Food is really yummy with HUGE portions especially the potatoes. I'd recommend getting a patio seating because the inside is a bit humid and stuffy maybe due to the semi open kitchen.

Saturday, 6-07-2025: This review is so overdue! This eatery isn't very big but they did have outdoor seating in their spacious side patio. It's a very casual and relaxing ambiance. We had a big group and I was grateful they could accommodate all of us. Of course, I made reservations. This was a nice meet up with our dear family & friends. I do recall we all enjoyed the food and truly appreciated the attentive and absolute care that two servers gave to our large party. We would definitely return. We were impressed with their food and customer service.

I've been wanting to try this place for a few months now and we were finally able to make it in today. No wait time which was great of course even though they were steadily busy. I bet this place gets insanely busy on the weekends, but it looks like there is the option to join via the Yelp waitlist & I love that. Inside is cute, I really like the booths and their design. There is a one stall restroom for everyone to use, but it was kept pretty tidy so that was great to see. Our food was pretty good, I love corned beef so the Reuben Benedict was perfect, one of us got hash browns and the other go the pecorino potatoes. The pecorino potatoes were good, I think they needed salt in my opinion and they would have been perfect. The portion size was pretty big. I am a big eater and I struggled to finish my food. The crème brûlée french toast was good too. I wasn't a huge fan of the custard in the middle though, there was a lot of it and it was just a bit thick in my opinion. The bread and the syrup with the fresh strawberry were delicious though. I'm excited to come back again and try more menu items. Highly recommend this spot for a brunch outing.

Great breakfast spot. We secured our place in line through their online booking system, nice and easy. Arrived around 10:30 am and it was very crowded, but we had our reservation so we only waited 10 minutes. They have indoor and fully covered outdoor seating. Nice shaded benches for these waiting. Parking wasn't hard to find. A lot of families and people with celebrations making this place an energetic atmosphere. The food and drinks were very delicious. My sister had the chilaquilles and I had the fried chicken yum! The biscuits that came with the fried chicken looked home made and we awesome, so we're the potatoes and gravy.

Well, here's a toast to Toast!! Me and two friends came here because we were looking for a good brunch spot when passing thru Temecula. We came here because of the good reviews on Yelp, so I thought I would add my own to the menagerie! They were able to seat us on a Friday morning right away and I believe this is because they also have a lovely heated, outdoor seating area. We were very comfortable and happy to enjoy the ambiance outside. I had to try their rose matcha and I was so very pleased with both the presentation and taste. It looked and tasted special, especially with the dried rose garnish. Another unique menu item was the Reuben Benedict. Corned beef is a very big favorite of mine, as is hollandaise sauce and a poached egg. All of it came together beautifully and really deliciously too. The choice of cheese was a very good accompaniment. I got the Parmesan potatoes and they were really tasty too, I did add my own salt, but that was fine because all the other tastes and textures were on point! A special breakfast that was worth a couple extra dollars! For me it's either diner food for breakfast or a special brunch and this fell into the special brunch category and they did a wonderful job. While in town, I wanted to try this spot for brunch with family and compare to the location or version of it that we have in NY. It didn't disappoint. The menu wasn't overwhelming but had more than enough choices. I probably had the best shrimp and grits in my life so far here. It's a must have if you like shrimp and grits. They have indoor and patio seating which is nice and service was really good even though they were busy for a weekday brunch meal. I highly recommend stopping in if you're in the Temecula area.

We had a pleasant breakfast this morning at Toast. The cookies and cream cold brew was very sweet and chocolatey for the chocolate lovers. So good. The steak and eggs were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. I don't think there's anything you could try on the menu that wouldn't be delicious. It's a great place to come and have a nice breakfast. We will be back!

Love this little gem of a place! I love coming here for brunch. The food, ambiance and vibe all comes together. The wait is long but worth it. FYI, this review is pre-Covid so I don't know how they are providing service right now. I'm sure take-out is available and they do have outdoor seating. My mouth is watering as I write this review. My favorite here is the crab cake benedict (full of crabs) with sweet potato fries-YUM! My hubby has a sweet tooth so he likes to order the creme brûlée french toast with chai latte. I've also had thier honey lavender cappucino and vietnamese coffee. Oh, I almost forgot about the avocado toast-my daughter's favorite and the Chilaquiles verde is pretty good here, too. read more

Good food and drinks nice menu selection with a fair price tag even leaning on cheaper side in these price gouging times. Very busy place with a line or wait time. Lots of staff and very friendly. I had the spicey Bloody Mary good , chilaquiles I wasn't a fan had better other places. Red velvet pancakes really good. read more

Love this little breakfast spot! It's smaller so there's usually a wait but honestly, it's totally worth it. The staff is super friendly also, so win win. The staff is so friendly that when they accidentally made an extra vanilla latte they gave us that one too, on the house! I did like the vanilla latte, but not sure I would get it again. They do offer some alcohol beverages for you enjoyment, haven't tried them yet but I will. Also tried the grilled cheese, yes! It was perfect! My husband had the avocado toast and has been craving it since we tried it a few weeks ago. The only thing I wish was different was outdoor seating, I want to be able to bring my dog to breakfast with us but alas I can not. Overall, if you arrive here and there's a 20 minute wait, wait! Toast serves solid breakfast choices. I really enjoyed my chorizo and egg breakfast burrito and my wife and I split the creme brûlée French toast. I have been there twice and will definitely return. My only complaint is waiting outside at the unmanned hostess station hoping someone sees you and comes out to seat you. read more

Sooooo Dawn was our server today. She was fantastic. She had great energy! And treated us so well and asked if it was our first time too. I really appreciate that. She explained the menu to us. It was my boyfriend and his father. We all got lattes my hunny got a latte with brown sugar I believe. His dad got a hot chocolate and wow. It looked so good!! He was in heaven. I got the honey lavender latte with it came real lavender sprinkles on it too. Wow. It was all about presentation and they did so well! Ben ordered the crab cake Benedict and potatoes with rosemary with lots of butter and olive oil. I got ajust a little taste because apparently he couldn't share because it was sooooo good. And yes it was soooo good. Clay the dad got eggs bacons a todays with oatmeal. He wasn't crazy about the oatmeal. He reffed it to mush. He like it more grainy and oats. But he lived. Lol. All the food was amazing. I had the lox bagel and it was delish. The bagel was a little too hard. I'm used to a warm soft bagel from other places I've travel to have Lox bagel. But it was ok. I loved the cream cheese with the dip mixed in with it. It had capers tomatoes and red onion with spinach and it's a BYO. Build your own. Was delish. And there small bagels like the size of your palm. Kid friendly. Lots of servers. No wait this time. But I had called in the morning to make reservations and they take reservations for only 7 guest or more, you have to call 15 min prior if you want to get your name on the waiting list. (If your not their). Which I though was cool except I didn't like that fact you couldn't make a reservation for just 3 People. Any other place I use to work for would take any reservations for whatever sized party I just got a name number and for huge parties a deposit. But hey what do I know .. anyways. Great place for kids. Give it a try you will loveee it. read more

It was our first time there. It was fur baby friendly for patio seating, pleasantly surprised they offer a doggie menu. We got her a grilled chicken breast with rice, she loved it. My husband really enjoyed his meal, I don't remember his whole meal...but I know he had the roasted root vegetable salad. I had the pastrami sandwich and the spinach soup, both were fabulous! We don't live in the area, we were meeting my mother in law and we thought we'd try Toast. We will definitely be back when back in town!! read more

Overall I enjoyed myself and had a pleasant experience, so I will return once they've been open for awhile. The service was a bit lacking, and the food took a long time to prepare, but it is understandable being that it was a holiday weekend and they recently opened. So I'll cut them slack in that department, because it appeared that the staff was genuinely trying and the food was worth the wait. They had a variety of good food options, the biscuits and gravy were delicious and the creme brûlée French toast was on point. The chilaquiles were on the dry side and could definitely use more sauce. But all around good food. They had many drink options from coffees, expresso, teas, cocktails, and beer. The interior was cute and clean, and had a pleasant vibe. It's not a huge place, so it gets packed quick. They have inside seating only with booth and tables. I really enjoyed the wall quotes and the fact that they had a drink/coffee bar. The staff was cheerful and friendly, even though the place was busy. If this place stays consistently busy, they will need to bump up the staff to improve on their service and food prep times. For being a new hot spot in temecula, this place has potential. Had brunch here.. I had the Crab cakes benedict, delicious, no complaints at all, my husband had the biscuits and gravy, delicious as well. Mimosas are great. We didn't have the best waitress... but food was great. Be prepared to wait, it's a busy place! Update: Toast is open for takeout! read more

I went to Toast to have brunch for my birthday. I was not at all disappointed with my choice. The food was beyond amazing and the service was exceptional. I added my name to the waitlist on my way to Toast via Yelp and as soon as I arrived I checked in. We actually got seated sooner than the time listed on Yelp. This was my first time trying this feature and it was really convenient and easy to use. We had two servers, both were great but I can only remember the gentlemen's name for now which is Terrel. Thank you both for making my birthday brunch great! I ordered the Reuben Benedict and it was soo good. It tastes just like a Reuben sandwich but better. The hash browns were amazing too. Overall, huge thank you to the Toast staff for your effort and customer service during these times. read more

This place seemed like it was the talk of the town. Pretty much everyone in Temecula was here over the weekend during their soft opening. With that being said, I wasn't all that impressed with the food. I ordered their corned beef hash, and the veggies were undercooked, no char to it, it was still raw. The potatoes seemed like it was just an afterthought, it was just tossed in the pan. The dish also lacked seasoning. I also ordered a breakfast burrito to go. And for some reason, they said there was a mix up, and I had to wait an additional 15 minutes after I got my check to get the burrito. Also, the burrito was supposed to have potatoes in it, upon getting home...no potatoes and seemed like it was just thrown together. Feedback was given to them. Hoping that they listen to their customers, and work out some of the kinks. Service was okay, again I don't think they were expecting so many people and it seemed like they weren't prepared for it. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon, maybe I'll wait a few months or so to give them shot again. read more

Came here on New Year's Day. It was pretty busy and we waited about 20 minutes for a table. The seating is decent and the decor is super cute! I ordered shrimp and grits and Hubby got biscuits and gravy. I should've stuck with my gut to get the same as him, but next time! The grits was bland and a little too gritty. They should have somewhat a creamy consistency. I am also comparing to what I've had in the south, so I don't think anything will compare. The food took a little long to come out, but it was a holiday and they were busy. The peach mimosa was delicious! They had so many options for drinks, which I loved. I know this is a sister restaurant to 1909 and we love it there. So, we will be back! read more

Great vibe! Friendly service. I had shrimp and grits. It was ok, with big shrimps, but not cooked with the finesse and flavor profile that would bring beme back. Tried their"manmosa".....mimosa made with beer and taijin. I'll pass next time. But everything else there looked phenomenal. I'd go again but would order French toast next time. That rocked. read more

We have been trying to have breakfast here for the last two years, but they never had a table for us. The wait was always more than an hour. Today we came here again and the wait was again an hour. I asked the hostess to get us a table so we can try it finally. She was extremely nice and accommodating. So finally we had our very delicious breakfast which I highly recommended. Visited my sister in Temecula and decided to stop here for brunch Saturday morning. Long waits so make sure to put your name down ahead of time!!! Got the tiramisu French toast and it was so so so delicious! All my siblings enjoyed their meals as well. This place has been mostly overhyped for me. It feels like the focus is more about style over substance. I was really excited to have a place in South Temecula that had nitro cold brew coffee but even that was disappointing. For a place with a self described "craft coffee bar," their nitro cold brew was flat and acidic, as opposed to rich and creamy like other proper nitro cold brews. Their chilaquiles were bland and their lemon ricotta pancakes were nothing to write home about. It's LA/OC food pricing and decor without the flavor to go with it. At least the service was good. I do appreciate that they are trying something new here and I think they have great potential, they're just not quite there yet right now. read more

Trendy morning! About a 20-40 min wait. Not too bad especially if the food is worth it right? Our server Tyler was nice and pleasant with us. We enjoyed our time here! It was worth the wait. Small and quaint inside so if you don't mind close quarter sitting you will be fine. So many great items to choose from. We were certainly fascinated with the coffee makers that we saw at some of the tables, I don't know what they are called but just imagine individual coffee drippers. That's the best I can do right now The food was really tasty especially baby's Crème brûlée French Toast! Man that was delicious. I didn't eat here but whoa does this place look fancy. I went in and got a cup of coffee to go. It was good, better than any Starbucks cup of coffee I have ever had. I have been wanting to try this cute little spot for the longest time. I never had the chance due to the long wait time and limited time on my end. Well today was the day! I was in the area for an appointment and thought we would stop by to check it out. They have a lot of outdoor patio seating to accommodate COVID19 regulations. I felt extremely comfortable and masks remained on until they served our drinks. The tables were spaced out with enough room for everyone to safely distance. One of my favorite places- healthy options and nice indoor/outdoor seating. The only negative is that there can be a wait during peak hours, so I only go there when I don't expect there will be a crowd (weekday mornings). This is a good place to meet a few friends for brunch. read more

I watched the reviews and waited until this hot new restaurant worked out the kinks. All I can say is ... it's really good. For a Tuesday at 10 they were hopping and we waited awhile. It's a small place, industrial feel with cement floors so the ambiance is current and loud. You won't have a quiet breakfast but it will be a good one! Seating is such that you can meet your neighbor or even taste their food. I suggest that you request a raised booth along the sides if you can. If it's your birthday, tell them! The sundae is special. I highly recommend the Creme Brûlée French toast and Chilaquiles Verdes which were seasoned perfectly (not hot). Avocado toast presentation was beautiful but lacked flavor. Established in 2017.

Toast opened in Dec. 2017. As a family, we have seen a need for craft food in our area. After opening a successful restaurant in Old Town Temecula, 1909, we wanted to offer an all day brunch/lunch spot to guests in South Temecula. Our valley is notorious for chain restaurants, but we wanted to offer from scratch food made with love. Our family restaurant is truly a labor of love. From the tables, to the paintings, to the decor, all of it has been done by a family member or employee of one of our restaurants. We care nothing more about involving everyone in our restaurants! After the lunch, a stroll around the grounds to see more vineyards, felt the breeze on a hot day was nice. Inside the gift shop there was so much to peruse through, but some of the stuff will definitely get a giggle out of you. There's an art gallery connected to the main building. I wouldn't call it an art gallery but many walls were dedicated to showcasing local artists work depicting the Temecula Valley lifestyle. In the same room is the wine tasting bar and most of the people inside the art gallery seemed to be more interested in wine tasting than the art lol This was my second time visiting, both times, I had a great first impression and last impression from the ambiance, food and service. Mu husband and I ate Toast, and while the experience had potential, it ultimately fell short in several key areas. To start, our visit began on a positive note with a pleasant hostess who graciously escorted us to our seats. The restaurant's ambiance was quaint, giving it a cozy feel that one might enjoy on a leisurely breakfast outing. However, the service was inconsistent. My husband and I perused the menu for quite sometime, before or waitress showed up, but she seemed somewhat flighty. She would pop in occasionally, only to disappear for prolonged periods. Unfortunately, this led to a few slip-ups, such as forgetting our extra items. The culmination of this was evident when we requested our check, only for her to head on break without addressing our request. At that point, we had to wait for another staff member to assist us with payment. The food experience was equally disappointing. The biscuits and gravy lacked flavor, rendering them bland and uninspired. Additionally, the avocado toast, priced at $19, seemed over-the-top as it was overloaded with toppings--a waste when the essence of the dish is simplicity. First, my pancakes were served cold, which was a disappointment. However, my husband's chicken sandwich was hot and well-prepared, so there was a bit of inconsistency in the food quality. The atmosphere of the restaurant could also be improved. The metal chairs used in the seating area created a lot of scraping noise on the concrete floor every time someone moved them, which was distracting and disruptive to the dining experience. Adding felt pads or rubber to the bottom of the chairs could help to minimize this noise. Despite these issues, the restaurant still had a lot of positives. They did their best to seat us as soon as they could. Our waitress was an absolute gem! Super friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable. Now, onto the good stuff - the food! I had the avocado toast and it was delightful. I usually don't order Avocado Toast for brunch but this one looked so good I had to give it a try. Tons of fresh toppings and I opted to add an egg. Everyone in our group raved about their dishes, from the French toast to the Lox and loaded. Stumbled upon this gem t9day and can't say anything more than...amazing! Service is top notch. From the host, to our server, to the other servers that helped, everyone was friendly and helpful. Food is great as well! We ordered the radical stack, crab cake eggs benny, raspberry latte and the farm bloody Mary. All were outstanding. The radical stack is huge so you definitely didn't need a side. The farm is a meal within itself. One of the best bloody marys we've tried. The crab cake eggs benny were cooked to perfection and the caper hollandaise (I think that is what is on it) is delicious. Decor is also outstanding. im not one to leave reviews often.. but I've been coming to toast regularly for years with my parents. We've celebrated many milestones in our lives here. they are recently under new management and all I can say is that this place is going downhill extremely fast. the food has had a drastic change in quality, the new servers are less friendly and attentive. This restaurant used to ooze friendliness , familiar friendly faces, consistency and community. Lately, that's completely gone. I hope ownership takes a step back and seriously reevaluates the direction they're taking. before they lose the loyal customers who helped build this business in the first place. Price is fair, but for a breakfast place a little pricy. Food is good. Would recommend the eggs Benedicts it is delicious. Would not recommend French toast. Food here better than your standard breakfast places, they know how to actually cook breakfast... if you order the right things. If you can get seated inside it is very loud and crowded. We went for the first time and they had ample outdoor seating set up with umbrellas to shield from the heat wave. There was a wait but they were doing their best to get people in. The food was delicious! This will definitely be our new go-to brunch spot. They had a little bit of everything to accommodate foodies and those that want more traditional fare! My boyfriend had the Tiramisu French toast and I had the Crab Cake Benedict. Both were delicious and beautiful! I also had the mimosa flight and it was so pretty with all the colors and all were crisp and refreshing. Everything was decently priced as well for California! Definitely recommend! read more

I was hesitant to try but had heard good things about it. They were right. It was a little loud, it was a little cramped, but the food and the service were worth it. When you walk in the door, you notice the ivy wall and the high booths. The keg beer wall also catches the eye. The tables are too close together and if the whole place wasn't so loud, you could definitely hear the neighboring tables conversation. That was really the only bad part of our experience there. Service was great (Terrel) and he had good selections to offer. Food was reasonably priced and was the exact right portion for my appetite. We will be back again soon. read more

First time I ate here was with a friend and the food was ok, atmosphere was busy crowded and the staff was busy but pleasant. The second time was the same but took a while for service and food was cold. The last time I was waiting for a table for over an hour, service was slow and thry had forgotten my order then when it arrived it was deseased. Got a twinge when I first tasted my mimosa and couldn't eat more than a single bite of my custom breakfast burrito. Was stomach sore with diarrhea for the rest of the day. A busy place with acoustics that do not favor easy conversation with table mates. But the food and accommodating service more than made up for the overly energetic atmosphere. Everything from coffee to mimosas. Biscuits and gravy with chicken! French toast mixed with an apple pie topping! I love it all. I can't wait to eventually try the entire menu. So delicious! One of the tastiest restaurants I've ever been too! The wait was only 25 minutes. Very friendly staff very nice restaurant and there was plenty of room outside patio dining area and inside. I was so excited about this new breakfast spot opening. I wanted to love it. I wanted another place to eat when in this town. Boy was I beyond disappointed. It was 10 minutes after we were seated before anyone even acknowledged us. Then, it was another 15 minutes after we ordered our drinks before they finally made it to our table. We recently visited Toast Temecula for the first time and absolutely loved it! We're regulars at the Murrieta location, so it was great to support the Temecula spot and see familiar faces while Murrieta is temporarily closed. The food was amazing, and the holiday cocktails were delicious. My husband especially loved the Shot for Tots specialty shot even better knowing the proceeds go to charity.
