My husband and I had VERY different experiences when we came to this location. I'm sad that his experience was not ideal. I can totally understand why he doesn't want to comeback. He ordered the biscuits and gravy meal, and his food was COLD when they brought it out. He told me, so I touched it and informed the waitress. The eggs were cold, cold- like they had been sitting for at least 10 minutes. The hash-browns were cold. Just not good. The waitress apologized and my husband had to wait 15 minutes for them to remake his meal. Meanwhile, I had already scarfed my food. My poor husband had to sit there, watching me eat, while his food was re-made. It came out hot the second time, which is good. My husband said the gravy was not his favorite. He always judges a breakfast place by the gravy. For some reason that is really important to him lol On the other hand, my experience was GREAT. I actually loved my meal! The shrimp ceviche was extremely fresh and I love the presentation. The granola salad was a real surprise! The whipped ricotta was so light and delicious. I enjoyed the fresh fruit and warm mini pancakes. Both of these dishes were a win for me. Ambiance was crowded/. Very busy. We waited an hour just to be seated. The noise level was exceptionally high. It was hard to have a conversation with my husband. This is not the place if you want to have a nice, quiet breakfast/ brunch experience.

Between 3 and 4 so rating up - toast was a cute little place. More of your typical breakfast place (some items could be a little pricier than expected but ya know .. today's economy). Anyways, the toast did look good in pictures but the crème brûlée (the one we got) fell a little flat , I'd probably try the tiramisu one. Staff was super nice and quick! Wait times also weren't too bad which is great when you ar hungry for brunch!

Went here last weekend to celebrate my friend's birthday with a group of 8 (plus a toddler!) the day before Mother's Day, so we already expected a wait. We called ahead and were quoted about an hour, but ended up waiting closer to 2 hours after checking in. Honestly though, with the holiday weekend and our big group, we understood. While waiting outside, they had Jenga and Connect 4 set up, which was a nice touch and definitely helped pass the time. The restaurant itself had a lively brunch atmosphere and was clearly packed all morning. Once we got seated, our server Ryan took care of us right away. She got our drinks and food orders in quickly, and honestly the turnaround time for everything was surprisingly fast considering how busy it was. Ryan was super fun, attentive, and really matched the energy of our group. She even brought out a little birthday treat for my friend, which was sweet! My friend and I both ordered the "life size" mimosas -- which isn't shocking because of the glass size, but because it's basically a whole bottle of champagne LOL. Huge shoutout to Ryan for recommending the freshly squeezed orange juice because it balanced everything perfectly and wasn't overly sweet at all. I ordered the Mind Your Own Biscuits & Gravy. Solid, classic brunch dish, and the hash browns had an amazing crunch to them. Overall, pretty standard brunch food, but the great service from Ryan really made the experience enjoyable!

My experience at Toast was a great one. I made a last-minute reservation for a large party, and the hostess worked with me to secure a reservation close to the time we originally wanted and get us seated in a timely manner. They did seat us separately, which wasn't what we would have preferred; however, we understand that the reservation was made last minute and we were also on a time crunch, so getting seated quickly was a priority. I know it's not easy accommodating a large group, especially on a busy day, and given our time constraints, I was initially nervous about whether we would be seated and served on time. However, the staff was organized, patient, and friendly throughout, and everything ran smoothly. Despite how busy it was, we received our food promptly, and everything came out well-presented and delicious. The chilaquiles were especially flavorful, and the egg omelet and potatoes were also excellent. Our group also ordered the Korean ribs, which were very tasty, and the French toast as well! For drinks, our group wasn't a big fan of the iced coffee, and the mimosa flights were a bit too sweet for my personal preference. I only really enjoyed two out of the four options. That said, they were beautifully presented and very photogenic. One thing we really appreciated was that they accommodated separate checks for such a large group, which made paying much more convenient. The space offers both indoor and outdoor seating. It is on the smaller side, but they still managed to accommodate our group comfortably. Overall, it was a really positive experience, and I'd definitely consider returning.

Wait is long so remember to join waitlist well before you visit the restaurant. We joined the waitlist around 30 minutes before we arrived and then wait for another 40 minutes onsite. The service is attentive and friendly. Food is really yummy with HUGE portions especially the potatoes. I'd recommend getting a patio seating because the inside is a bit humid and stuffy maybe due to the semi open kitchen.

Saturday, 6-07-2025: This review is so overdue! This eatery isn't very big but they did have outdoor seating in their spacious side patio. It's a very casual and relaxing ambiance. We had a big group and I was grateful they could accommodate all of us. Of course, I made reservations. This was a nice meet up with our dear family & friends. I do recall we all enjoyed the food and truly appreciated the attentive and absolute care that two servers gave to our large party. We would definitely return. We were impressed with their food and customer service.

I've been wanting to try this place for a few months now and we were finally able to make it in today. No wait time which was great of course even though they were steadily busy. I bet this place gets insanely busy on the weekends, but it looks like there is the option to join via the Yelp waitlist & I love that. Inside is cute, I really like the booths and their design. There is a one stall restroom for everyone to use, but it was kept pretty tidy so that was great to see. Our food was pretty good, I love corned beef so the Reuben Benedict was perfect, one of us got hash browns and the other go the pecorino potatoes. The pecorino potatoes were good, I think they needed salt in my opinion and they would have been perfect. The portion size was pretty big. I am a big eater and I struggled to finish my food. The crème brûlée french toast was good too. I wasn't a huge fan of the custard in the middle though, there was a lot of it and it was just a bit thick in my opinion. The bread and the syrup with the fresh strawberry were delicious though. I'm excited to come back again and try more menu items. Highly recommend this spot for a brunch outing.

Very family friendly! Inside and outside seating. The food was great, as well as the ambiance! Service was quick , it does get busy so depending on when you go there is a waitlist. 9/10 definitely a great spot for brunch or Bible study meetup.

Great breakfast spot. We secured our place in line through their online booking system, nice and easy. Arrived around 10:30 am and it was very crowded, but we had our reservation so we only waited 10 minutes. They have indoor and fully covered outdoor seating. Nice shaded benches for these waiting. Parking wasn't hard to find. A lot of families and people with celebrations making this place an energetic atmosphere. The food and drinks were very delicious. My sister had the chilaquilles and I had the fried chicken yum! The biscuits that came with the fried chicken looked home made and we awesome, so we're the potatoes and gravy.

Well, here's a toast to Toast!! Me and two friends came here because we were looking for a good brunch spot when passing thru Temecula. We came here because of the good reviews on Yelp, so I thought I would add my own to the menagerie! They were able to seat us on a Friday morning right away and I believe this is because they also have a lovely heated, outdoor seating area. We were very comfortable and happy to enjoy the ambiance outside. I had to try their rose matcha and I was so very pleased with both the presentation and taste. It looked and tasted special, especially with the dried rose garnish. Another unique menu item was the Reuben Benedict. Corned beef is a very big favorite of mine, as is hollandaise sauce and a poached egg. All of it came together beautifully and really deliciously too. The choice of cheese was a very good accompaniment. I got the Parmesan potatoes and they were really tasty too, I did add my own salt, but that was fine because all the other tastes and textures were on point! A special breakfast that was worth a couple extra dollars! For me it's either diner food for breakfast or a special brunch and this fell into the special brunch category and they did a wonderful job. While in town, I wanted to try this spot for brunch with family and compare to the location or version of it that we have in NY. It didn't disappoint. The menu wasn't overwhelming but had more than enough choices. I probably had the best shrimp and grits in my life so far here. It's a must have if you like shrimp and grits. They have indoor and patio seating which is nice and service was really good even though they were busy for a weekday brunch meal. I highly recommend stopping in if you're in the Temecula area.

We had a pleasant breakfast this morning at Toast. The cookies and cream cold brew was very sweet and chocolatey for the chocolate lovers. So good. The steak and eggs were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. I don't think there's anything you could try on the menu that wouldn't be delicious. It's a great place to come and have a nice breakfast. We will be back!

This was my first time at this restaurant. I decided to try out the cinnamon maple toast latte, and it was good but not something I would get again. I also got the crabcake Benedict, which I just don't think that was a good pick for me because the crabcake was very mushy. My boyfriend got the toast burger and he seemed to like it a lot. There was just a lot of onions so he removed them off. I would like to try some other things on the menu, but overall the ambience was very nice sitting outside. The weather was great as well as our server was very friendly and fast as well.

We stopped by this morning and it was amazing! It was neat how they had the hostess outside. We were offered a two person table but then asked to sit off to the side in a high rise booth which the hostess quickly agreed to. First we ordered two of "The Farm Bloody Marys" wow!! They were awesome!! Next we ordered the corned beef hash and radical stack and both of us finished our plates, the food was delicious! Before leaving we ordered a nitro cold brew and pour over coffee. The nitro was very flavorful, creamy and nutty. One of the best I have had. They bring the pour over device to your table and set it up for you!! It really was an delightful experience! We enjoyed everything and definitely hope to go back. Only thing I would change is add more of the booths. read more

Was told it would be a 45 minute wait at 9:57. We asked the hostess how many people were ahead of us at over 45 min into the wait and were told 4, by 11:17 they had seated 10 parties before us. Finally sat down at 11:25 only after bothering the hostess again. I don't care how good the creme brulee french toast is, been will definitely not be coming back. ** Edited from 1 to 2 stars due to the 3 free orders of french toast we received for talking to the manager about the situation. Be the squeaky wheel 100% if this happens to you. read more

We were told it would be a 25 minute wait, and then waited 45 minutes. A lot of people that came after us were seated before us. The food was mediocre. It's advertised as a breakfast, brunch place but there were very few sweet options. If you do go here, don't get the creme brûlée French Toast. The cream was curdled and made me sick. read more

We are regulars at Toast! Hailey is an awesome server. She is always super friendly, knows our typical order and she always takes a moment to connect with us personally, in spite of always being busy. My friends I am went to Toast last week for my birthday, the food was amazing and the manager Maureen was so friendly. She checked on our table several times. She went above and beyond what I have seen any manager at a restaurant do. Besides making her rounds of hellos and goodbyes to costumers she was busing tables. read more

I hate to give a bad review and I know it isn't the owner or the waiter's fault, but I ordered the "vegan" BLT and it had chunks of meat in it left over from the grill:/. I've been vegan for so long and I've never slipped up, so it made me pretty upset. If you aren't vegan, I'd suggest going here, but if you are, then you really shouldn't go here. read more

Waited over an hour for food. Several people who got sat 30 mins after us got their food before us. This is beyond unacceptable. No like updates or assistance on the bill for the wait either. Ryan was a great help but other than that, it was a terrible. read more

Went to toast on a recommendation from my wife's boss who goes to toast in the Whittier area. It sure was no disappointment, lots of unique choices that were presented by Halley T. She gave my wife and I many choices from the menu since it was my wife and I first time to Toast. We could have not had a better server who waited on us, very knowledgeable with the menu and gave us some good recommendations. I had the awesome sausage omelette and my wife had the toast egg with avocado. Halley also advised us of the lattes which we got. We also were able to chat with one of the managers "Mo" who was very pleasant and professional. We loved the atmosphere, food and of course our server so much we decided to return the next morning for breakfast on the way out from our weekend trip, wine tasting. This place was delicious! We ordered the sangria French toast and it was soooo good! I highly recommend it! My sister got the creme brûlée French toast and hers was pretty good but I liked the sangria one better. Our server was so so sweet we loved her! And it was a great atmosphere! I hope there are many more places like this to come in Temecula! The place is a little on the smaller side, we went in at 9am and we just missed the large crowd that came after us that looked like a pretty long wait! But overall we had a great experience and most definitely will be back! read more

We went here today for brunch for a friends bachelorette party. The food was phenomenal but most importantly, we had the BEST server, Dawn. She said the sweetest, most heart felt things to our bride to be. For her to go the extra mile to go out of her way and say the speech that she did; really meant a lot. Still kind of a long wait to get in since it's new, but food quality and drinks were good! Got the Korean Short Ribs, which were very good and tasted very close to authentic Korean Short Ribs. Got the Cocoa Butter Crepes which were good and extremely filling. - do not get if you are looking for a light snack, this will fill up all your cheat day calories lol. Also got the Creme Brûlée French Toast which was also very heavy, but perfectly had a light taste of that Creme Brûlée flavor! The fried chicken was very good and fresh tasting! It comes with both white and dark meat. We also tried the kids chicken fingers which according to my younger brother was delicious! Lastly I got the Vietnamese Coffee which overall seems authentic, however I make mine at home with a little more condense milk so I had to ask for some extra! Over really liked the experience and loved the tables being seated higher up. read more

Pretty good I had the Creme brûlée French toast and my hubby had the classic American breakfast fried potatoes included. I wish I ordered the mimosa flight it looked delicious! But I'll be back again! Just be prepared to wait a while to be seated and also ordering you're food takes a while too they seem understaffed or frazzled for being so busy. Not that that's a bad thing! read more

Our waiter was so nice, although I can't remember his name, but I wish all waiters would be so nice! I looked this place up for breakfast and decided to eat here because they are vegetarian and vegan friendly (they have meat too), but most place you go if you're vegetarian or vegan you have to really search the menu to find something. We had honey and also a taro latte, and we had French toast and a smoked vegetable eggs benedict both taste great, we were extremely happy with our Yelp selection and the directions to get to Toast were very easy to follow. read more

Good place for breakfast. Good menu selection. My wife had the french toast and Bloody Mary . Really good - Big portions. I had the crab cake Benedict and Irish coffee. Good as well, Irish coffee light on the Irish though. It's a popular place with folks waiting outside to be seated. Sat outside so we were seated fairly quickly. We will come back again but will try other items on the menu. read more

I really wish this place was good, I was hoping I liked it to come back. But when I order a B.L.T.A (bacon,lettuce, tomato,avocado) sandwich I would expect to get the ingredients that are in the name. They missed the avocado. That's fine mistakes happen. But what really did it for me was my waiter taking forever to come to our table to see if we needed anything. I began to eat it while she came because it was already soggy and cold when I received my sandwich like it had been ready for quiet some time same with the chilaquiles. She finally came to our table when I was already picking up the second half. When she did bring out the avocado it looked like it had been out for quiet some time it was beginning to brown. Only getting 2 stars because the drinks were good. Iced coffee, I'm sure if we got hot coffee it would be cold as well like all of our other food. Do better. read more

Very cute, trendy place...something Temecula needed for a breakfast place in town, they also serve lunch but I've only had their breakfast, and they also serve cocktails. The bloody Mary's are great. I had the peach crepes and my son had the lox and loaded, both were excellent!! Hailey, our server, was awesome. We will definitely be back. read more

My friend kept telling me about how good the food was at Toast. We went today and I was very impressed with their food too. I tried their creme brûlée French toast that was sweet but tasty. I had a side order of scrambled eggs and bacon. Everything was excellent and I would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a good breakfast. 5 stars for almost everything! Food, price, portions, and customer service! This place is different and I like different. It gets boring when your going to every restaurant and its about the same type of food and atmosphere. Toast is unique love it. Definitely recommend this place and we will be back too bad we live 30 minutes away but the drive is worth it. read more

The waiters, and waitresses are always very nice, professional and genuine. Provide amazing customer service and are always doing the best of their ability considering how busy and hectic it gets here. However, the ladies up at the front at the hostess stand always have an attitude are very rude and unprofessional. I have experienced this several times when I'm given a time frame of waiting and it exceeds that time I always politely ask how much longer and am given answers such as, "oh not much longer" "oh you're table is being wiped down" "oh you're next up" and another 20 or 30 minutes go by. Amazing food and amazing service inside, just get rid of the bitchy attitudes outside and your establishment would receive a 5 star review. read more

Established in 2017.

Toast opened in Dec. 2017. As a family, we have seen a need for craft food in our area. After opening a successful restaurant in Old Town Temecula, 1909, we wanted to offer an all day brunch/lunch spot to guests in South Temecula. Our valley is notorious for chain restaurants, but we wanted to offer from scratch food made with love. Our family restaurant is truly a labor of love. From the tables, to the paintings, to the decor, all of it has been done by a family member or employee of one of our restaurants. We care nothing more about involving everyone in our restaurants! Toast is a family owned business. This is our 2nd location (1st is 1909 in Old Town Temecula). We care nothing more than about customer service and great food, so we hope you have a chance to experience it while at our place. After opening our first location in 2014, we have been asked by many patrons to expand into other cities. It truly is such a compliment to be asked to build in "you name it" city. We have had the best responses from loyal customers both local and out-of-towners. As owners, we want nothing more than for you to return, because that means we did it right! What a fantastic eating experience at Toast Temecula! From beginning to end, every part of our experience was nothing short of spectacular. Our taste buds were treated to a delectable symphony of flavors that really wowed us. I chose the Corned Beef Skillet, and it was a choice I will never regret. The pecorino potatoes, bell peppers, onions, brussel sprouts, and garlic nicely matched the delicate and savory house-cured corned beef. The combination was a work of art, and the freshly cooked eggs on top were the perfect finishing touch. Mu husband and I ate Toast, and while the experience had potential, it ultimately fell short in several key areas. To start, our visit began on a positive note with a pleasant hostess who graciously escorted us to our seats. The restaurant's ambiance was quaint, giving it a cozy feel that one might enjoy on a leisurely breakfast outing. However, the service was inconsistent. My husband and I perused the menu for quite sometime, before or waitress showed up, but she seemed somewhat flighty. She would pop in occasionally, only to disappear for prolonged periods. Unfortunately, this led to a few slip-ups, such as forgetting our extra items. The culmination of this was evident when we requested our check, only for her to head on break without addressing our request. At that point, we had to wait for another staff member to assist us with payment. The food experience was equally disappointing. The biscuits and gravy lacked flavor, rendering them bland and uninspired. Additionally, the avocado toast, priced at $19, seemed over-the-top as it was overloaded with toppings--a waste when the essence of the dish is simplicity. First, my pancakes were served cold, which was a disappointment. However, my husband's chicken sandwich was hot and well-prepared, so there was a bit of inconsistency in the food quality. The atmosphere of the restaurant could also be improved. The metal chairs used in the seating area created a lot of scraping noise on the concrete floor every time someone moved them, which was distracting and disruptive to the dining experience. Adding felt pads or rubber to the bottom of the chairs could help to minimize this noise. Despite these issues, the restaurant still had a lot of positives. Toast in Temecula was a fantastic spot for a brunch outing with a larger group. We had a reservation but it was Father's Day so it was quite crowded. They did their best to seat us as soon as they could. Our waitress was an absolute gem! Super friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable. Now, onto the good stuff - the food! I had the avocado toast and it was delightful. I usually don't order Avocado Toast for brunch but this one looked so good I had to give it a try. Tons of fresh toppings and I opted to add an egg. Everyone in our group raved about their dishes, from the French toast to the Lox and loaded. Toast Temecula is a great option for a casual breakfast or brunch, especially with a group. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Stumbled upon this gem t9day and can't say anything more than...amazing! Service is top notch. From the host, to our server, to the other servers that helped, everyone was friendly and helpful. Food is great as well! We ordered the radical stack, crab cake eggs benny, raspberry latte and the farm bloody Mary. All were outstanding. The radical stack is huge so you definitely didn't need a side. The farm is a meal within itself. One of the best bloody marys we've tried. The crab cake eggs benny were cooked to perfection and the caper hollandaise (I think that is what is on it) is delicious. Decor is also outstanding. We had to wait about 15 or so minutes to get in, but food was worth the wait for sure. read more

im not one to leave reviews often.. but I've been coming to toast regularly for years with my parents. We've celebrated many milestones in our lives here. they are recently under new management and all I can say is that this place is going downhill extremely fast. the food has had a drastic change in quality, the new servers are less friendly and attentive. This restaurant used to ooze friendliness , familiar friendly faces, consistency and community. Lately, that's completely gone. I hope ownership takes a step back and seriously reevaluates the direction they're taking. before they lose the loyal customers who helped build this business in the first place. I ordered the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. Nice presentation for my meal & others passing by. Quite impressive. We had a lovely person stop by to inquire if everything was to our satisfaction...it was. Price is fair, but for a breakfast place a little pricy. Food is good. Would recommend the eggs Benedicts it is delicious. Would not recommend French toast. Food here better than your standard breakfast places, they know how to actually cook breakfast... if you order the right things. If you can get seated inside it is very loud and crowded. We did not want to seat in the patio cause it was very sunny and hot. I would recommend everyone to try it at least once. read more

We went for the first time and they had ample outdoor seating set up with umbrellas to shield from the heat wave. There was a wait but they were doing their best to get people in. The food was delicious! This will definitely be our new go-to brunch spot. They had a little bit of everything to accommodate foodies and those that want more traditional fare! My boyfriend had the Tiramisu French toast and I had the Crab Cake Benedict. Both were delicious and beautiful! I also had the mimosa flight and it was so pretty with all the colors and all were crisp and refreshing. Everything was decently priced as well for California! Definitely recommend! read more

I was hesitant to try but had heard good things about it. They were right. It was a little loud, it was a little cramped, but the food and the service were worth it. When you walk in the door, you notice the ivy wall and the high booths. The keg beer wall also catches the eye. The tables are too close together and if the whole place wasn't so loud, you could definitely hear the neighboring tables conversation. That was really the only bad part of our experience there. Service was great (Terrel) and he had good selections to offer. Food was reasonably priced and was the exact right portion for my appetite. We will be back again soon. read more

First time I ate here was with a friend and the food was ok, atmosphere was busy crowded and the staff was busy but pleasant. The second time was the same but took a while for service and food was cold. The last time I was waiting for a table for over an hour, service was slow and thry had forgotten my order then when it arrived it was deseased. Got a twinge when I first tasted my mimosa and couldn't eat more than a single bite of my custom breakfast burrito. Was stomach sore with diarrhea for the rest of the day. One of the tastiest restaurants I've ever been too! The wait was only 25 minutes. Very friendly staff very nice restaurant and there was plenty of room outside patio dining area and inside. I was so excited about this new breakfast spot opening. I wanted to love it. I wanted another place to eat when in this town. Boy was I beyond disappointed. It was 10 minutes after we were seated before anyone even acknowledged us. Then, it was another 15 minutes after we ordered our drinks before they finally made it to our table. We recently visited Toast Temecula for the first time and absolutely loved it! We're regulars at the Murrieta location, so it was great to support the Temecula spot and see familiar faces while Murrieta is temporarily closed. The food was amazing, and the holiday cocktails were delicious. My husband especially loved the Shot for Tots specialty shot even better knowing the proceeds go to charity.
