Bright open space with plenty of seating options. The menu has sweet and savory options and enough variety for breakfast, lunch, or a snack. Everything was made to order and took less than 10 mins. They were also accommodating to allergies and modifications.

Quaint cafe with frendly staff and delicious options to start the day or stop by for lunch! My favorite was the smoked salmon toast which is served with a generous amount of smoked salmon! The toast also has cream cheese, arugula, cucumbers, and is topped with lemon to enhance the flavor. A must try! I'll be back for another round of smoked salmon toast and to try a green smoothie. A super spacious and airy juicery. I loved all the plant life. The staff was kind. The juice was phenomenal. After a weekend of tomfoolery I needed it for sure! The wait for toast was a bit extreme at almost half an hour. But it was a busy Sunday morning. The toast was really good once we got it. Really fresh and well balanced. All and all a really nice place to pop in. Just maybe not pop out ad fast as you'd hope to

Super cute spot! I had the tomato and burrata toast, which was absolutely delicious. My mom got the avocado toast, which was also super yummy. I had the purple smoothie (I cant remember the name) and it was just okay. This place is quite expensive, but it's worth it as a special treat.

Was our 1st time visiting. The food was amazing However the late and expresso was horrible. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. Service was excellent. Will definitely be back to give them a 2nt chance , definitely worth stopping by .

Delicious and healthy is a double win! I was moving into my new place and we we wanted a filling but tasty breakfast and thankfully Toastique is right downstairs. We ordered the avocado toast, smoked salmon toast, peppermint nitro cold brew, and blueberry lavender drink. Not only was the food good and the service great, but the restaurant is pretty spacious and aesthetically pleasing. The app would not take my card as it kept saying my information was incorrect but it's fine because the person working the register was kind and it all worked out.

I think this place has so much potential. It is very cute and aesthetically pleasing to the eye but the food and drinks leave much to be desired. -Spicy margarita was overly sour and did not have a good balance of flavors. -Tropical overnight oats was too watery and bland - tomato burrata with prosciutto was mediocre Service was friendly and the food came out quick. I'll have to come back and try their other menu items.

LOVE Toastique! I usually get the gingerberry smoothie (so yummy). But today I decided to try the matcha latte with oat milk and lavender syrup.. so so good. Paired with the crab toast (always super yummy)

The staff was lovely and the restaurant was so beautiful. I had the PB on Toast and it was delicious and beautifully presented. I did not want to leave and I will be back! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. This review was for The Wharf location but I will look forward to trying the Union Market store soon!

Looking for a change of pace for breakfast options when visiting my kid at HU. Place had solid reviews, so we checked it out. The spicy crab toast was fresh, creative and absolutely delicious. Kid had a bowl. Smoothies were also tasty and filling.

Avocado Smash Toast Pumpkin Spice Cream Cold Brew

i loved it here! i lived in D.C. for a while and never once got to this place. i definitely missed out... BUT, i'm glad i tried this place today. i ordered oat milk pumpkin spice cream cold brew and (create my own: sourdough w/ poached egg, avocado smash, herb cream cheese, and chili oil). &&&both items are incredibly delicious! the service is great too, and my food was ready in less than five minutes. it's pricey but worth it (: i believe the drink is wayyy better than starbucks' cold brew with pumpkin cold foam!!! can't wait to try new stuff in this place!! also, the place is very cute and cozy! is highly recommended!

Before getting to the food, I'll first rate the interior excellent. It's big and open, and has a modern yet rustic design, which makes it an excellent atmosphere. They had an impressive list of wines and cocktails, but the draft beer selection was limited. Could use a bit more variety on tap, but I enjoyed the Imperial IPA nonetheless. As for the food; all of it was on the pricey sized given the quality and quantity served, but the salmon collar was by far my favorite -- followed by the chicken, although the chicken was a bit less meaty than I expected. The gem salad, the carrots and the steak fries were all very "meh," and the bisques seemed like small ciabatta buns rather than actual biscuits. All that aside, the biggest disappointment was unfortunately the ax ribeye - it wasn't cooked properly (despite asking for med-rate, depending on the bite, it ranged from medium to very rare), and it was really stringy and fatty - a major disappointment for a steakhouse. Deserts were delicious, I really enjoyed the ice cream cake and thought the peanut butter pie was good. Service was great, prompt and friendly. So I definitely wouldn't recommend this place as a statehouse based on my experience, but would consider coming for the salmon.

Ted's Bulletin Noma is a short walk from the hotel I rested my sad little head at, so two minutes after walking in, we were seated in the dark-lit environment that almost put me back to sleep. Despite the nearby ceiling vent dripping condensation on the right shoulder of the highest-paid individual in our group, we enjoyed the deviled eggs app and refreshing tap water. I ordered the chicken and biscuits, and I must say, I'd sell my soul for those dead bird sandwiches. The server was young and energetic, but the service was slower than that of Suddenlink internet. I'll be back once I finally get a raise to afford the $3 sausage gravy add-on next time.

I sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly but busy restocking as it was towards the end of the day. I had the cheery old fashion as she promised it was one of their stronger drinks. I didn't find this to be true, it was actually overly sweet and tasted more like syrup. The second drink I picked was the bourbon bash. I thought this one would be sweet as it's made with different juices but it was actually on the stronger side. Definitely stronger and better than the Cherry old-fashioned. To snack on I went with the steak and cheese, eggrolls and bacon, blue cheese brussels sprouts. The egg rolls were great. Lots of flavor and the texture was spot on. The brussels sprouts were good for the most part. They did go a little overboard with the blue cheese for my tastebuds. My second visit was for a late breakfast. I started with an Irish coffee by recommendation of the bartender. It was a great way to start the day. It was strong enough but with the right balance. My breakfast plate didn't meet my expectations. My eggs were too running, bacon was chewy, toast was stale and the hash browns were only cooked on one side. I did ask for them to be crispy. I picked at it enough to curb my hunger.

If I'm honest, they had me at French techniques and middle eastern flavors but it helped that a friend's friend recommended Yellow, and the Union area in general. To be honest, I almost skipped it entirely after seeing the line, but I'm glad I stuck it out. Although I couldn't make out the menu until my time to order I was proud of what I ended up with- the halawa honey, a smooth balanced coffee for the coffee lover seeking a sweet treat, and the smoked amba chicken pita. We went around 9:30 in the morning on a weekend and it was already packed but luckily we found seating as soon as we got done ordering at the counter. Definitely get here early! Even on a weekend, there were so many people chilling on their laptops. I saw one woman on a 4 seat table, taking her sweet time with just 1 drink and her laptop while so many people were waiting in line with their trays full of food. A no laptop policy on weekends is usually a good idea if they want people to sit back and relax rather than take their stuff to go. We got the Baklawa Mocha, Rose Milk Tea, Orange Blossom Croissant, Chocolate Halawa Pain Suisse and Breakfast Egg Pita. All the food was phenomenal - especially the breakfast egg pita. It was so fresh, flavorful and filling. I also loved the Chocolate Halawa Pain Suisse - if you love middle eastern desserts with a western twist, definitely get this! Both pastries were extremely flaky and fresh. The Rose milk tea was very fragrant and had a strong flavor of rose and cardamom. I did not like the Baklawa Mocha at all because it tasted very watered down. Would return for their food but will skip the drinks for sure!!

The cheese puffs and artichokes were mediocre, and the macarons were fine but nothing memorable. The tarte flambée was slightly below average. It tasted mostly like cheese and fat, with none of the depth or balance I expected. The biggest disappointment was the steak au poivre. We ordered it medium rare, which our server specifically said was also the chef's recommendation, but it arrived somewhere between medium and medium well. More surprisingly, it was one of the toughest steaks I have ever eaten. At $49, that is unacceptable. The mashed potatoes were equally disappointing: bland, not buttery, and nothing like the rich French pommes purée I expected. We also ordered the carrots, but they never arrived. At least we were not charged for them. The crème brûlée was good, but a good crème brûlée could not redeem the meal. The service was attentive and polished. The restaurant was also nearly empty at 5 p.m. on a Friday, with only one other table occupied inside and a few people outside, which in hindsight may have been a warning sign. Beautiful room, decent service, deeply disappointing food. I would not return.
