Stopped by this Chick-fil-A today with my wife and our two young daughters, and I wanted to recognize Kale for the excellent customer service. Anyone with toddlers knows ordering can sometimes be a little chaotic, but Kale was incredibly patient, friendly, and professional throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer our questions about the menu, never seemed rushed, and stayed positive and composed while helping us get everything figured out. We were on our way back from Medford, OR and wanted something familiar for lunch so we decided to stop at Chick-fil-A in Redding, CA. We went in a really busy time right smack in the middle of lunch so it was really busy. I did appreciate how the staff was able to take orders and have it delivered in a good amount of time. Because of the particular time that we went, I did notice that the staff members could have done a few walk-throughs to check for the cleanliness of the restaurant. I did notice some garbage garbage on the floor throughout my stay there. Overall, the food was good. I did have to double check on one item from my order and the staff was kind and let me know that it would be out soon. If you are craving Chick-fil-A. This is the place to go. read more

The customer service is exceptional, I loved how kind everyone was. The inside was nice and clean as well. Great location next to the mall. Waffle Fries - 7/10 Very nicely fried, could use some more salt though. I enjoy the novelty of it being waffle cut, though, haha. Wednesday evening I Tried their chicken sandwich sampler and found it a bit undercooked to my liking..

Piss poor service. Kids behind the counter screwed up our order. Wife drove back to the store to pick up her fries and see how they were going to fix this. Drive through girl gave her the fries and said, "We are not going to give you anything else," and that was that. Unreal how flippant the server was. I called back and demanded to speak to a manager and was offered a free milk shake. What do you think should have been done when we came back? And California arbitrarily gave these kids a raise? Over the last couple of months I have dined in for breakfast shortly after opening at 6:30 am. Most fast food places will give you your breakfast coffee when you place the order, so at least you have coffee when waiting for breakfast. This has never been the case with the Redding location. Most times I get the breakfast at 6:45 or so, while they are MAKING the coffee, Then the coffee comes about 7 when my breakfast is DONE. Same thing happened this morning. But this time the coffee was GROSS. I took the coffee up to the front counter as I was leaving and said this coffee is BAD. The employee said oh, I will go check. That was it. I did not know what that meant so I walked out. Got in my car, and said to myself I just paid $3.19 for that, why did I get ripped off. I went back in and said I would like a refund for that coffee. Please NOTE that was never offered. The employee says to me, we are not known for our coffee, there are many other places in town with better coffee. I said yes, but a lot of people like to have coffee with their breakfast. So I went to voice my complaint on their web site. It takes all the order information, then never goes to the next step to allow you to type in your complaint. Great way to not receive customer complaints. So i guess two part complaint. One if your going to be open for breakfast, have the coffee ready to go. Two when a customer is not happy with an item, has not eaten or drank it, offer the customer a refund, don't make them ask for it. I think i will be distancing myself from Chic for a while, and when and if I return NEVER ORDER THEIR COFFEE. I had only done breakfast a couple times, as I go to Carl Jr. for the best chicken sandwiches in town. Night and day better. read more

Usually, fun events or promos happen (such as free breakfast with the biscuit or nuggets during summer awhile back), which makes it all the more fun here. Workers deserve a lot of understanding and kindness. They really do a lot here. FOOD: * We are fans of the Spicy Chicken Sandwich meal. - mmmm. Crispy, spicy chicken. Hearty size. Great with Chick-Fil-A sauce. Husband's favorite is the Zesty Buffalo. * Honey Pepper Chicken Sandwich (newer item) is great, too. Love the cheese, if you like melted cheese. Messy, but delicious. * Fried Nuggets, always easy. Quick to eat, not as filling as the sandwiches. A great snack item. DRINK: * We are obsessed with the Vanilla Cold Brew Coffee. I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the store and bathroom, quick service and the Christmas decorations. We stopped here after rock climbing and we were starving. There's a long line to the cashier and so my friend just ordered from his app and food was delivered to our table. Magic! I already got the spicy chicken and thought it was flavorful and filling. My chicken strips were cold and fries were not cooked enough - took my order back and the replacement order wasn't really any better - for a 3 piece chicken meal that's 11.50 they could cook the chicken and the fries .. I had heard how amazing this place was and this is the second time we tried it and are not impressed - won't be back.. If you want to watch the sun circle the globe while waiting for your food come here. It's a nice, open CFA more open seating, big farmhouse type table and I haven't seen another that looks like this. Really clean, staff was personable, their playground is open for kids (with hand sanitizer at the door) but just PAINFULLY SLOW. I was the only customer inside for about 10 minutes, still waiting for my food. At the 10'ish minute mark they came to let me know that they were starting to make it so it would be a few more minutes. Cool, thanks for letting me know you're starting now that it's 10 minutes after I ordered Another plus, it's one of the few clean places in the squalor that Redding has become. Update, never received my food, people came in 10 minutes after me, got their food. So a nice clean place that can't make food apparently. While they had egg white grills going out the drive their door "Sarah" couldn't figure out how to use her hands and feet to walk one over. Caleb is super nice and is probably the only good thing by about this place. Sarah, who looked like maybe she is the manager couldn't have cared less just had a smile like she thought it was funny while was frustrated. Really great customer service. Operator/owner is really kind and welcoming. It gets really busy and they handle the rushes really well

First, we are fans of Chic fil A. We ordered 4 spicy chicken breast sandwiches for lunch. All of them were smaller & dryer than what we regularly get at Chic fil A in Santa Clarita (or anywhere else). Maybe they'd prepared them really early for lunch and the sandwiches had been drying out?! It was a travel day for us & it wouldn't have taken much to make us happy. The service at Chic fil A is great at least 95% of the time. However, we won't be stopping at the Redding Chic fil A location in our future travels. Soggy fries and soggy nuggets. That's the norm for this location. The nuggets and fries were crisp the first day or two that this location opened. After that, it was clear that things were going to be different when I got greasy, soggy, lukewarm nuggets and soft fries that were extremely salty. I don't go to this location anymore. When your signature menu item is chicken, you had better do it right, in my case my pimento chicken was undercooked, the chicken was pink which grossed me out, so I stopped eating. We are not big fans of this fast-food restaurant but we were attracted to the pimento chicken which has the potential to be really good, had the chicken been cooked. Also, the sugar free lemonade had a very off-putting taste, sort of chemical like. I did like the kale salad, but overall could not give a higher rating when served uncooked chicken. read more

Well we have been here a few times since they opened.. tonight was beyond disappointing. After driving 20 mins home with dinner I opened the bag to find out it wasn't the food we ordered at all. The only things correct of the 44 dollars was 2 shakes. I figured it happens I will call and they will handle. I was told since I wasn't willing to drive 40 mins round trip that they wouldn't refund my money but put me on a list so I can get my food next time... seriously... My advice.. check your bag (and not just the label which I did) before you leave. Not sure I will be back with customer service like this. They must be hoping for traffic off the interstate and not return local customers. read more

BOMBBBBB... I lived in LA county and Orange County but never got to try this place before moving here. We got the Deluxe chicken sandwich with bacon, cheddar, and the HONEY BIN IS SO GOOD. We also got the, what they call nuggets- which are really the size of popcorn chicken, so that is why I gave 4 stars because nobody can get full off of 6 pieces of popcorn chicken unless you're a toddler, lol. Loved the waffle food too! The employees were on top of it. As it just opened, and the line was all the way to Chase Bank, we only waited 40 minutes.
