This place only has 22 reviews? We're about to change that. I'd seen this place on my Insta and had followed it but hadn't tried it till yesterday when I discovered my go to hibachi delivery place no longer delivered to me. It was only a matter of time because this place was helluva far from where I live. So, my quest for a new hibachi place to deliver to me commenced and this place popped up. That jostled my memory that I had wanted to try it and the rest is history. My go to is always a filet mignon (medium well) combo with shrimp and fried rice. I'm going to be honest, the filet was tender and wonderful but it wasn't medium well. I didn't expect it to be though because other than ordering at a sit down place, this request hasn't ever been fulfilled. For me, this wasn't an issue as the meat wasn't overcooked and everything tasted perfect. The bonus here is that the plate comes with fried rice and you don't have to pay more for that option. Your plate also comes with hibachi style veggies (carrots, broccoli, zucchini and onions) and not frozen "steamed" veggies like some other places. You get six shrimp and a decent amount of beef in my opinion. No matter how much fried rice you give me, I will always say it can come with more because I absolutely carbs. Now for the sauces - listen up, because for me, the sauces are integral to the hibachi experience. You get 4 sauces per order and they will sell you additional ones but that's not an option on a delivery platform (so you'll have to call and work that out with the restaurant). Your options are yum yum (pink sauce), diablo (spicy pink sauce), ginger and garlic butter. The ginger was a tad too salty for me but the rest of the sauces passed the vibe test. Don't be scared off by the name "diablo" - it has a slight kick but you won't be breathing . Shout out to Juan who hooked up this first time girlie with extra sauces so she could try them all and indulge in saucing up her meal. Please note the sauce containers are pretty small. Ya'll think you can start sizing up your sauces? I had a promo code so I needed to order a certain minimum. I refused to pay for soda when I have tons here so I went with a side of veggies. The platform said steamed veggies so when I called Juan, I made sure they were hibachi style veggies and not steamed (they were hibachi style). One recommendation would be to offer a side of fried rice. I'd much have preferred that over the veggies. I hope this is an option next time I order. My food arrived warm and I devoured it. I will no longer shed tears over the loss of my other hibachi spot as I've found one I'm just as happy with. As provided above, not only was my food a yummy in my tummy experience, the customer service offered by Juan was also superb. Support this joint and don't you guys leave the Eagle Rock area or I'll once again lose my hibachi go to.

Delicious and large amount of food for a kids plate! I will definitely be back! Everything was made fresh and was full of flavor!

I was in the mood for quality food in my local area with my little family (my kids and husband can be picky!). I came across Tokyo Emperor, where we each selected our favorite proteins and hoped for the best. I'm happy to say that the results exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent and well-seasoned, and the quality of the protein was great. I will definitely be returning! Guys on the truck were nice as well and service was pretty quick.

I would give 1 star but I'll give 2 just because the Asada Fries I ordered were decent. But for the prices they have??? Oh h*ll no. Who do they think they are charging people 21$ for a medium box of food. On the truck the price of the fries said 17.99!!!! That's already a lot but I decided to order them feeling like spending money for a good meal and when I order with the guy at the register you can just tell he wants your money. Obviously their business isn't going so well so they have to overprice. After reading the price on the truck the guy says ,"that'll be 21$". I'm in disbelief but I'm not cheap and have pride so I just gave it to him. These people are not for the community at all and I do not recommend. You'll be better off going to Leo's taco truck or the place in front of target. Listen to the reviews or you'll be money grabbed like me. I don't usually write reviews but I cant let that slide again. Not to mention the fact that I couldn't even get a fork with my meal and the make you get the sauce yourself. With prices like that you'd think they cater to their customers a little more. I promise you they don't care. Do not eat here.

They were a solid 4.8/5, my favorite was the fish taco. I think they use a chipotle sauce it was delicious. I also really really enjoyed the carne asada. They have some seating in the location I was at, as well as a small gift shop that is open Wednesday - Sunday so you can browse while you wait for your food. It took less than 10minutes for my tacos to be prepared but there was no line when I was there. The service was great, two sweet guys in the truck, and an electronic queue to place your order. Glad we tried again the second day. I had an excellent shrimp, fish, and carne asada taco, and the fries I stole from my husband were also very tasty. The shrimp may be my favorite with carne asada a close second. Also, I normally steer clear of chipotle aioli because it usually just tastes of mayo, but the sauce here is very balanced and chipotle forward. Nice picnic tables here or even better take it to the parklet right outside the lot.

On top of that, they have both vegan and vegetarian options. Since it was affordable and I wanted to try all the vegan and vegetarian ones, I went ahead and ordered all three. It's super clean but without feeling steril. When we sat down, we noticed a nice woman with her mom who was celebrating her 95th birthday and we sat next to them. They were both very sweet and mentioned the items they got and how good everything was. We basically mirrored their dishes and were not disappointed by our choices. Generally, when you're at a Thai restaurant, you can't go wrong when you take advantage of suggestions given to you by two beautiful Thai people. We started off with an appetizer called "Gold Rush" which are 6 crispy, yet chewy wontons that are cooked until golden and then the dipping sauce was a tangy soy vinaigrette which I initially wished had not been taken away with our plates when we were done but any concern I had was soon forgotten when the other dishes came out because everything was so well seasoned that I never once thought, "I wish I still had some of that dipping sauce". We ordered the Laab Chicken which I always crave because so many Thai restaurants don't serve it. But Spice Season offers it and that might have been my favorite dish. I always order it without the rice powder because I don't like the powdery ground rice. I think it's a distraction from everything else in the dish. Our server didn't blink an eye when I asked that it not be included. Next, we ordered the Pad Thai. It was delicious. The noodles are thinner rice noodles (like angel hair) than what I have typically experienced (more like the size of linguini) but I loved the dish overall, would not change a thing and will definitely order it again. Blazing Basil Beef was the next dish that came out. The beef was super tender that night but it did not heat up well the next day. It got tough, even though I heated it up using a very low microwave power setting. This was in no way a reflection on how they cooked this dish because it was perfect when it came out. I will try the Heaven Scent next time or Spice Season Steak in lieu of Blazing Basil but that is not to say I would never order it again - far from it - but we are excited to try other dishes as I have noted further below. Rounded everything out with the Pineapple Fried Rice which I crave just as much as Laab but I'm usually nervous to try it because so many times the rice doesn't have any flavor, or not enough pineapple juice but not the case here! It was delicious! D'oh! I forgot to mention the Matcha Cheesecake which was heavenly. It took me several days to finish that off and unlike the Blazing Basil, it held up fantastically in the fridge for the next few days which is how long it took me to finish it off. Honestly, everything we tried was incredibly fresh, bursting with different flavors and cooked the way we enjoy our Thai food. We were not rushed, and the person who took our order said that we had ordered plenty of food which I appreciated - we do tend to over-order but that's because we eat the leftovers but I thought it was nice that she gave me the "that's probably enough" sign. Last thing I will mention just to help others on the spicy scale, we love our Thai food spicy. I read some reviews where people said the food was not spicy enough. We told our server that we like spicy and that we would leave it up to her - she said that everything would be a 4 out of 5 on the spice scale and while it was perfect for me, my husband thought it was just a tad too spicy but I think he's just out of practice. ;) We will probably go with 3 out of 5 next time, unless I'm alone. Then I would go back to 4 on the spice scale! I'm excited to try the Papaya Salad, Lime Steak Salad, Tom-Yum Fried Rice, Heaven Scent, and Lemongrass Soup. They definitely have a wide variety of food offerings, including things I've never heard of or seen. Something for everyone!
