Sushi here was awesome!!! Deep fried LSU roll was filled with awesome cream cheese, crab meat, and crawfish topped off with spicy mayo and eel sauce. The noodles were good but different! Skinny angel hair almost noodles, but was good! The edamame was also good! A nice little quick dinner

A quaint little sushi spot in Coursey and Sherwood area. I was craving sushi and my favorite spot is apparently closed fro Tuesday lunch. I've heard great things about Tokyo Grill and decided to stop in. We were quickly greeted and told to sit where we wanted to. A server came by and got our drink orders. It too me a while to order, because I am one of these people that don't like raw sushi, but love a good cooked sushi! I will say it was good. It may not take the place of my favorite sushi spot, but it will definitely be a place I would visit again.

Tokyo Grill is restaurant that features sushi, hibachi, bento boxes, and other Japanese-style foods. The place is quite small, with only a handful of tables and a big counter to pick up to-go orders. This is good considering that take-out seems to be the majority of their business (at least the night we visited.) They also do table service, so we sat and had some sushi rolls and gyoza. We liked everything we tried (especially the roll featuring kiwi on top: yum), and the prices seemed cheaper than most places. The person waiting on us was friendly, attentive, and never overbearing. Considering the options for sushi in this part of town are a bit sparse, definitely check this place out if you're nearby, even if it's just for take-out.

My cousin and I happened to just come upon this place while in Baton Rouge. We were craving sushi, and it was the one closest to where we were located at the time. When we drove up, we weren't too sure about going in because it wasn't exactly what we expected, but we were both so glad we went in. It's very small, but the service was great; all the food we got was tasty, and everything was very inexpensive.

This was our first visit to Tokyo Place and we enjoyed every bite. The portions were huge, the prices were fantastic and the service was fast and friendly. We will be back soon!

I love the sushi! The service was great and I will be back. We had a shush roll and hibachi shrimp. Both were excellent!

Pros: 1) good quality food at reasonable price 2) great service during takeout 3) lots of seats Cons: 1) looking around during pickup, ambiance could be improved Rating: 4.5/5 The ambiance could be improved in the aspect of the restaurant is close to bare. No real flare or uniqueness that I can remember from being in the restaurant to pickup my orders. The service is great. All orders are done well and I've never had any issues with placing an order or picking up an order. The hostess also gave us a lot of sauces on request. The food here is amazing. The quality of the fish is excellent. I've been here 3 times and have never complained about the food. The portion sizes also are really good as well. Overall, I recommend coming here to try out the freshness of the fish. All of the food below was well worth the price.
