    H3. Steak Hibachi

Pretty good food. Filling. We got the steak hibachi. It was good. The sauce was so good on the side. My husband got general Tso's. It was good. Not super spicy. We each got egg rolls on the side. They weren't that good. I could do without them. Overall, very good.

First lets say I wish I would have read the reviews here before I purchased from them. Damn you uber eats. Secondly I did not receive what was ordered and the cream cheese wontons breading was so hard I almost choke on the first bite stale food. This literally taught me a 20 dollar lesson. Stay away from this restaurant.

Super impressed with this delivery order! I got the hibachi chicken, and to meet the minimum price for ordering I also ordered panfried dumplings. Everything tastes great and delivery was in a timely fashion. While ordering via yelp, you have to specify the amount of sauce. They did a great job adding extra sauce! The portions are enough for 2 meals and the ingredients look and taste fresh. I would order from here again.

It was okay--nothing to write home about. The largest problem I had was that the delivery took a long time to come to the house and when it came the food was cold. The egg rolls were cold and the meals we got were king of skimppish on the food on one of them and we had to transfer food from one container to the other. The Lomein was the best thing there was--probably won't order from here again.

Good enough for lunch! Lots of take out items which aren't greasy. Tastes a bit better than average takeaway too.

Good fresh food, cook upon ordering. Well priced. Local spot. Decor could do with some work.

Best Chinese in Manassas! Reasonably priced and quick delivery both over the phone and online! I'm so happy I tried this place.

My friend who grew up in Northern VA raves about HawaU as his favorite Hawaiian spot. To be fair,…read morethere aren't many options, so there's not really any competition. I added this casual spot to my list a couple months ago, but didn't have concrete plans to check it out. Driving to Manassas and back on I-66 from where I live would cost half of my brain cells and all my patience. However, a few friends and I drove out to Shenandoah this past Friday evening, and I made a convincing argument that HawaU would be on the way. By the time we arrived, we were all incredibly hungry and ready to wolf down anything edible. The ordering process was easy: we ordered and paid at the counter, grabbed a seat at one of the few tables, and waited ~10-15 minutes for the food (parts of it are made to order). LOCO MOCO (BOWL) - 9.99 The chipotle-sized bowl was topped with loco moco: white rice base topped with hamburger patty, fried egg, grilled pineapple slice, and a generous pour of beef & mushroom gravy, plus sides of fresh cabbage salad and mac salad. The gravy nostalgically reminded me of the ones I'd get from cafeteria-style school lunches -- thick, salty, slightly starchy, yet oddly comforting. The egg, hamburger patty, and rice were pretty standard, but the familiarity of the gravy tied the whole dish together nicely. Both salads were good -- the cabbage was more light and refreshing, while the mac salad felt a bit heavy after all the loco moco. Since it's my first time eating loco moco, I can't say how it compares to others. However, I found HawaU's incredibly comforting and hearty. It really hit the spot for me, and I ate the whole bowl within 10 minutes. The loco moco is definitely their signature option and a must try. My friends who got the spicy pork bowl and udon thought both were just OK and not special.

It was my first time visiting, as well as my significant other's. When we arrived, the host was polite and we were seated with our party of about 8 people. However, things started off awkwardly when my significant other's mom wanted to sit on the opposite side of the table to spread out more comfortably. She was told she could not sit there and had to stay in the seat closest to us. At first, I assumed it was because another group was joining us since there were 3 extra chairs left open, but that wasn't the case. The restaurant was empty aside from one other table that had arrived before us, so the situation felt unnecessary and frustrating. Unfortunately, the food experience was disappointing as well. As soon as the chef placed the shrimp, lobster, and chicken on the grill at the same time, I had a feeling the seafood would end up overcooked -- and it did. The lobster and scallops had noticeable burn marks, the shrimp was overcooked, and the steaks were not cooked correctly either. Two people ordered medium steak, but both were cooked at the same time, and one was left on the grill longer than the other, causing inconsistency. Another issue I had was that the chef automatically drenched the seafood in teriyaki sauce without asking first. Personally, I don't enjoy teriyaki sauce, and I think he should have asked us if we wanted sauce on our seafood before pouring it on. When the chef asked how everything tasted, my significant other was honest and said the food was okay but overcooked and burnt in some areas. Our bill ended up being around $400, and because we were unhappy with both the food and service, my boyfriend left a 10% tip and even explained respectfully why he felt the experience did not justify more. To end on a positive note, the baked sushi roll I ordered was actually delicious. However, the drinks were subpar and overall the food did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, this is not somewhere I would return to.
