Love!! There is so many yummy sauce options and if you order the bowl lunches you can even pick which veggies you do and don't want! I had a salmon bowl, double veggies (watercress, carrots, red cabbage, zucchini, snap peas and edamame) with the spicy-yaki sauce! so yummy and it fit well into my high protein/low carb macros! WIN WIN!

Food was good. Reminded me of Rumbis. The place is pretty expensive for the quality & quantity of food. We may go again but not a for sure.

This was my second visit. The first time I really enjoyed the food and the service was very good. This time not so good. The cashier had an attitude and acted like we were bothering her. After ordering the next challenge was to find a clean table - that didn't go well so we chose the patio. It was a nice day and the swatting if the flies and wasps kept us entertained while we waited what seemed like an eternity for our food. Finally we got served someone else's order. The server was nice about it and promptly addressed it. I like the sauces and everything tasted fresh. I ordered the carb free bowl with twice the veggies but my bowl had half the veggies of the other bowl ordered. Perhaps this is the new math. Anyway, not sure what's going on here but their isn't much of a commitment to customer service or getting the food right.

Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl

I'm not the kind of person to bring up a messed up order and definitely not write a negative review but this needs to be heard. My husband and I ordered curbside pickup and brought home our bowls, I ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke bowl with avocado. When I open mine up, no Ahi Tuna or avocado (and yes of course I triple check in discouragement). I seriously hate calling an establishment but I wasn't sure what to do as there was no protein in the bowl! So I called just stating that there was no protein in my meal and what I should do? They transferred me to the MANAGER and she says, "oh I made that bowl myself you need to check it." I tell her I'm looking at it right now, so I need to bring it back? She says they don't except food back... ok well should I come back to at least show you? "Yeah sure." I get there and I was pretty polite, the guy said they can't except the food back. Then I see a lady shove a container of the ahi tuna and avocado at me and said absolutely nothing! I don't know if she thought I was lying about not getting my complete meal or if she is the rudest person in the world but I'm very unhappy with this service! I just said thank you and left. The food is usually pretty good and healthy so I'm so bummed they aren't ok with hearing when they mess up!

This is all the fat that came out of my bowl of rice and chicken...

I have been going to Tokyo Joe's since the first day it was open in CO, I have never had so much fat in a bowl of rice and chicken in my life there before.... And I'm gonna leave it like that, because the manager came over To my table name Christen. And she Took Care of the situation properly unlike her employee I spoke to before her...

Food was amazing and they brought it out today quick, the food was like comfort food. I recommend this place if you want good, fast Asian food.

Poke bowls are fine if you're looking for a quick lunch, but very comparable to a grocery store poke bowl.

My daughter and…read moreher fiancé wanted comfort food last night, so we went to Birdhouse and, like always, left totally satisfied. We got the Birdhouse Flight to start--guac, five-cheese queso, and their birdhouse salsa (a tasty, mild tomatillo). Seriously, it's the best way to start your meal. For dinner, we all had ramen. I went for the Hellfire with extra bok choy. This ramen is no joke. If you want something spicy, this is it. The chili sauce, flakes, and oil really bring the heat. The kids got the Tonkotsu, which was amazing as usual--great broth and super tender meat. I had my spicy ramen with a Juicy Bits from WeldWerks, perfect combo. Seriously, it's some of the best ramen and service around North Denver. Whether it's for a special day or just a chilly night. Birdhouse is always good. I totally recommend it!

So it was shocking that I found such a good bowl out here in Erie. I got the Hellfire Ramen, a tonkotsu-based ramen served with their house spicy sauce, chili oil, pork shoulder, and a soft boiled egg. The broth was rich and flavorful, the spice level was perfect (quiet hot but still maintaining a good balance of flavors), and the pork shoulder was tender but still has a bit of nice toothsomeness. Overall, this was an excellent bowl of ramen comparable to any of the top spots in Denver. The only slight downside is that the broth was just a tough too salty for my liking, and I would've preferred a soy marinated egg over a soft boiled egg. They have other ramen here was well, such as a chicken-based shio ramen, a regular tonkotsu, and a Thai curry ramen. I definitely would return to try the other ramen. If the other items on this menu is as tasty, I wouldn't hesitate to give them 5 stars.

When you first walk in, there are two kiosks where you can place your order and you may walk up to the cash register and order with a live person. We chose to order at the register and the employee was very friendly and explained the whole Motomaki process, which we appreciated. The process on how-it-works is located on the wall, but we both prefer in-person customer service. We ordered three rolls and one fountain drink for a total of $57 with tax.... I thought that was high for what we got. The service was fast and the ingredients were fresh. I'm glad I got the sauce on the side. My husband didn't care for the rolls because he said the seaweed was too fishy and he described them as "seaweed burritos". The rolls fell apart after we took off the aluminum foil. Also, just an FYI: three rolls were too many and we both would have been fine with one each but now we know for next time. Overall, I thought the food tasted good, the service was great, the price was high, and we would opt for bowls next time.

I appreciate the options for greens, white rice, brown rice, or a combo for the base. I loved the crispy eggplant, especially dipped in the jalapeño aioli. The salmon poke was cut and flavored well. The toppings tasted fresh and added a great texture to the bowl. I loved the addition of asparagus, which I don't often see in poke bowls. The happy hour $3 off from 2-5 p.m. is a great deal and brought my filling bowl down to $15.75. My order wasn't accurate -- I had to go up to the counter to ask for missing items that I had paid to add (edamame and a side of jalapeño aioli), but I was given them without a fuss. Everything was delicious and portion sizes were generous. I'd love to come back next time I'm in the area.
