    Lobster Crossing Roll
    Phil L.

The sushi was tasty and filling! Spicy tuna had a good hit of spice to flavor things up, while the lobster crossing roll was rich and full of flavor, with an amazing presentation. Salad and soup were alright, nothing outstanding. Although this is an order then sit place, one of the workers helped me fill up a glass of water which was very sweet of them. Ambiance is very casual, nothing too fancy.

Quick Sushi is a great spot to have some quick sushi on the go. I have celiac and am very sensitive to allergens and have eaten here with no issue. The staff is very friendly and provide great service. Advice if you are ordering online or on the kiosk and are gluten-free. When entering your name type GLUTEN-FREE before your name and they will put the GF soy sauce in your package. Great tip from the waitress.

The Chicken Katsu is crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and consistently delicious. Even my family, who've had Chicken Katsu countless times, wouldn't help saying "this is a good Chicken Katsu. " every time!

When I say they are a-m-a-z-i-n-g! They are amazing!!! From hospitality to fresh sushi, to reasonable pricing, you name it. They got it. The sushi just screams for more. I ordered just an ordered originally and ended up ordering quadruple of what I ordered. Great people, great environment. One of the best places that just feels like home. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

    Soft Shell Crab Tempura

Came here for the first time and I would say it's a decent sushi place for me. We ordered several dishes to share and I must say most of the dishes and sauces are on the salty side. I have been craving tofu soup for a while and was very excited to see that they offer it at this place. However, I am a bit disappointed. I ordered it very spicy and they were reluctant to do it but the sweet lady (I assumed she was the owner) said she would put extra japapeno in it for me). When I tried it, the soup was not spicy but very salty for me and I couldn't finish it. We ordered several rolls: california rolls, shrimp tempura rolls, lion king rolls, and new bay bridge rolls. All the rolls were great, but I have had better. For appetizers, we got soft shell crab, calamari, and vegetable tempura. They all were good, but again, I have had better. If the sauces weren't too salty, it would have been so much better. This is a place where you use a QR code to look at the menu and order. I had some trouble with the connection so I went to order at the front instead. The day I went was very very hot and they only had a fan. I wish they had the AC. The inside of the restaurant is very cute and all the staff were very friendly.

Orders: House Salad Bowl had a beautiful array of red cabbage, lettuce, spinach, shaved carrot slices, edamame w/shell all tossed in a Demiya Yasai dressing. The salad was fresh & colorfully vibrant. The only preference I would have is that the edamame shell be removed so it is easier to eat. Other than the edamame, I would order this again. The Katsu Curry Chicken was generously portioned & the chicken not overly cooked so that it is dry. What always stands out for us is the curry sauce. It has the desirable heat, the taste & consistency that we look forward to. The Katsu Curry Pork was a noticeable size smaller than the chicken but all the components of the sauces remained the same as for the chicken curry. Since this is a small restaurant, the standing room is very limited & a small bench that is in the narrow pathway of the staff's entering & exiting the kitchen makes it a little cramped. So I would recommend either getting an early start to your lunch or dinner meals to avoid the busy crowd & standing room space.

Some restaurants are all hype, but Curry Hyuga earns every bit of the praise it receives. The katsu is consistently excellent. Whether you order the chicken or the pork, the breading is always perfectly crisp while the meat stays incredibly juicy and tender. That level of consistency is something I really appreciate because every visit has been just as good as the last. The curry is what keeps me coming back. The restaurant strikes a great balance between being lively and comfortable. There is enough energy in the room that it feels welcoming and full of life, but it is still quiet enough to have an easy conversation without having to raise your voice. I often find myself stopping in for a solo meal when I am in the area, and it is the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful lunch or dinner by myself.
