I had the ramen and fried chicken, and both were excellent! The ramen had an authentic flavor, and the fried chicken was delicious. I'll definitely be coming back. The service was great, and the atmosphere was welcoming and kid-friendly.

It was my second time visiting this restaurant, and the food was solid again. We got the miso ramen with extra beef brisket ($18.90) and poke bowl ($19.95). Like before, you order on a tablet, and a robot waiter delivers your food. It still makes cute music when en route to your table. As such, service is basically hands-off, but I noticed that our server occasionally looked to see if we might have needed anything. The poke bowl portion was large, and I almost didn't finish everything. The sushi rice was delicious as it had a slightly vinegary flavor. It tasted great with the tuna and salmon. Everything else tasted fresh, especially the avocado slices. The sauces were adequate, and I wasn't really a fan of having Korean seaweed salad as a part of the bowl.

The fam was craving ramen on "cold" December night and we hadn't yet hit this spot up since it changed a little while back, so we decided to give it a shot. You order from a tablet, which is cool because we had a decent-sized party; 8 of us, so ordering was pretty simple and straightforward. The food comes out with the little robot cat thing, which the kids really enjoyed. They just wanted to keep ordering stuff to have it come out, hahaha. Had a ton of stuff; a couple orders of Takoyaki, Gyoza, California rolls, hand rolls, and ramen. My Garlic ramen was okay; it didn't have quite the splash I was expecting, so might try the spicy ramen on the next trip out. The food overall was pretty decent, the hand rolls looked pretty good that one of the cousins had, so wanna try that too next time. I don't know how crowded it gets on the regular, but we came in around 7pm on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded, but once we sat, the place filled up so maybe we got lucky. Parking - Pretty open and didn't have any issues; there are a couple restaurants in this corner plaza, so I can see the potential for it getting packed but even when we've come here to the other spot or the other restaurants nearby, we've never had any issues. Service - Efficient and friendly enough (I mean, robo-cat did most of the serving). When we needed additional stuff or things taken away, they came to the table often enough to take care of that stuff. I def have other preferred Ramen spots nearby, but this place is on our list for spots we'd return to whenever the craving hits again, or if I wanna be entertained by robo-cat.

My friend and I stopped by Tokyo Ramen and Sushi on a Monday night, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The location is super convenient. It's right off the freeway and there's plenty of parking. Inside, the restaurant is surprisingly spacious with lots of seating and lots of space between tables, so it never felt crowded. It's clean, comfortable, and has a nice, welcoming vibe. We started with the takoyaki and garlic edamame. Both were delicious. I also ordered the mixed tempura, which was light and crispy. The batter was good and didn't break apart when I took a bite. We also ordered three different sushi rolls. They were all very good. The fish was incredibly fresh and the rice was cooked well. There were a lot of sauces on each but didn't taste overwhelming at all. Service was also great. Our order was taken right away, and the robot delivered our dishes to the table. Overall, great experience and would definitely go back.

My family came here for dinner Monday evening to try their ramen. As we entered the chef greeted us and we were directed to take a seat anywhere we liked. We ordered Wakame to start and different ramen bowls. It was a nice touch seeing the robot come to our table with our food. I ordered the Black ramen, which had such a wonderful flavor from the black garlic. There were plenty of noodles per bowl and the chashu pork was my favorite part of my ramen. It was flavored perfectly and had a little char to it. My parents really enjoyed their bowls as well. We'll definitely be returning in the future.

Food and service was great, I was told ownership changed, I wish they would bring back the Soba noodles back to the menu, we love the traditional Japanese menu they used to have.

This restaurant was so good! The spicy miso ramen and garlic edamame were delicious! They have a cute little robot that delivers the food to your table. The waiter was friendly and the food came out quick. Only thing I noticed was that it was really quiet inside, some music would be nice just for background noise. Other than that I'm coming here for sure.

Never had spicy cheese ramen before so I tried it and it added cool flavors of combination. Wasn't much chatsu pork in the ramen . The pork bun appetizer was nicely done with cucumber texture, fluffy bun and unami meat. It was funny having to use the ipad that the server gave to me and funny watching the robot move 10 feet from the kitchen to my table and the food being delivered twice. they got two cool tvs that streamed golf and a beach resort and A/C was on in the hot weather

Ordered the giant bento and it was really good. It had all types of meat (pork, chicken, shrimp, beef). And it's was absolutely giant. Both quality and quantity. The owners are so nice and the restaurant has a good vibe. It did take awhile to get the order but I understand since the bento needs to be assembled and look pretty. Recommended!!

This is my second time going to Tokyo Ramen and sushi. I love the atmosphere here. I love the little robot that delivers your food. The staff is really nice too. I went with my sister, my niece, my daughter and three children ages six and two 3-year-olds. The waiter moved the tables around so that we could sit in a booth with the tables extending it so that all seven of us could sit together. The thing I liked about it. The most is that there was something for everyone my daughter and I both have the red Ramen, which is delicious. I had mine with beef brisket and she had hers with charshu. My brisket was so tender. My niece had the red Ramen as well vegetarian with no spice because she was sharing it with her three year-old daughter. My sister had the charshu bowl, which she let me sample. It was very flavorful and delicious. My daughter's two kids had California rolls and tempura, and though they are normally picky eaters, they cleaned their plates. The serving sizes are quite big and my sister and I wound up with doggy bags. Although the place was not crowded when we came about 3 o'clock in the afternoon by the time we left around five, it was filling up nicely. I really enjoyed my food. I cannot wait to return to try some of their other ramen and rolls.

I was drawn to Tokyo Ramen and Sushi on a Saturday evening after finding out on Yelp that they carry gluten free ramen noodles! Along with 351 reviews and a 4.6 star rating, I wanted to see if I could add another ramen spot to my collection in the Greater Los Angeles area. I ended up dining in on a Saturday for dinner with a party of three. Walking into the restaurant, my party was seated rather quickly and we were handed a tablet and a pitcher of water with a few cups. And looking at the menu, the ramen choices were diverse with a few different kinds. The bowls of ramen seemed to be what most people order at this spot. However, there are other options like rice bowls and sushi rolls for those looking to eat other items. For this visit, I decided on the Red Ramen which was $14.95 at the time of this experience. **For those looking to order the gluten free ramen, there was no option to add it as a modification on the tablet. To get this substitute, we were told to add all of the items we wanted to the mobile cart and to let the server know manually when they came by our table to confirm our order. Although the menu pictures on Yelp claim the gluten free noodles cost an extra $4.50 to the bill, we were not charged at all for substitution the few subsequent times we came to the restaurant.** The ramen took about 15-20 minutes to make it to our table. But the wait was more pleasant because of the robot waiter that brought the dishes out to the people. Watching the food go by made the experience eating at this restaurant a special one. Now diving into the red ramen, I was astonished by the generous portion size! For the 15 dollar price tag, I received three pieces of thick-sliced charsiu pork, half of a soy sauce egg, a spoonful of corn, green onions, beansprouts, a piece of nori, a generous amount of noodles, and broth that filled about 75% of the way to the top. After consuming all of the bowl, I was pretty filled which was very satisfying. In the Diamond Bar area, it is very easy to find ramen places with high ratings. But with such small quantity offered at other locations, Tokyo Ramen definitely stands out from the rest. The flavor of the Red Ramen was perfect, no other words needed. Beginning with the broth, I enjoyed the creaminess of the soup. The soup base was sharp, yet umami which made me want more of it alone! Moving on to the noodles, each strand was soft and absorbed most of the soup flavor which I enjoyed. The sides of beansprouts and corn tasted fresh and gave some firm texture to the dish, and the soy sauce egg balanced out the bright, sweet flavors with a more calm and focused eggy taste. Saving for last, the charsiu was both sweet and savory which was emphasized by the thin layers of fat in the meat. Everything about the experience at Tokyo Ramen and Sushi screams 5 stars. From the streamlined ordering process and free modification for gluten free noodles to the portion of ramen and the crafted taste, Tokyo Ramen and Sushi is definitely on the right track. The price was more than fair for the amount of food received and beats out most of its competitors in the area. If you're looking for a delicious ramen in the Diamond Bar area or are looking for a solid spot with some gluten free noodles, I would highly recommend giving these guys a try! I will definitely be coming back for years to come as they are the true definition of a hidden gem.

First time here and all I can say is i'll be adding this place to my weekly sushi outing. Fish tasted great and service was fast. I love how I was able to order with a tablet, and a little robot brought our meal out. Ramen was very tasty.

That said, seeing cooked shrimp, surf clam, and octopus as a significant part of the lineup was a little underwhelming for the price point -- these tend to be more budget-friendly selections, and I was hoping for at least a couple of premium fish to round things out. On the bright side, the fish was sliced to a generous thickness, the sushi rice had a great texture -- well-seasoned and not overpacked -- and every piece was beautifully presented. I did request ice for my takeout order and it wasn't included, which was a minor disappointment. The restaurant itself is a standout. Spacious, modern, and well-designed without feeling crowded. The menu is impressively large -- sushi, sashimi, rolls, ramen, and more -- so there's genuinely something for everyone. It's on the pricier side compared to neighborhood sushi spots, but it's a solid choice for a group dinner where you want a nicer atmosphere over a quick meal.

I was considering ordering a larger portion, but they actually talked me out of it because they knew I wouldn't finish it. They were right. That small gesture showed me they cared more about giving me a great experience than squeezing a few extra dollars out of my wallet. That kind of customer service is rare these days. What makes this experience even more memorable is that I had just come from X Fish Izakaya, where I spent nearly an hour waiting to be seated while watching people who arrived after me get seated first. Here, I felt welcomed, appreciated, and genuinely taken care of from the moment I walked through the door. Once you finish building your bowl, you head to the cashier where they weigh it and you choose your broth and spice level. The broth selection was surprisingly huge, around 15 options if I remember correctly. I got the Tom Yum broth mild spice, and my girlfriend got the Organic Miso mild spice. We also added jasmine green tea and white rice for $1.99 each. After ordering, they give you a table number and you can head over to the self-serve sauce station while your food is being prepared. The sauce bar had ponzu, sesame oil, soy sauce, sriracha, Tabasco, scallions, cilantro, red onion, satay sauce, shallots, minced garlic, chili powder, chili oil, and more. The soups came out quickly and were served over a live flame at the table, which was a nice touch. Both broths were excellent. Even at mild spice, there was still a pleasant kick. The broth itself had good body and flavor and didn't taste watery at all. Service was also great. The server checked on us consistently, kept drinks refilled, and was attentive without hovering. The restaurant itself is pretty small, maybe around 8 tables, but it felt cozy rather than cramped. Nice interior, comfortable temperature, clean setup, and the vibe was relaxing. They were playing bossa nova versions of 2000s and modern hits which honestly fit the atmosphere perfectly. Definitely a spot I'd come back to. Great value, fun experience, and genuinely good hot pot.
