I was so excited, and as my visit last week demonstrates -- things have only improved. KYO SUSHI was packed at 5PM on a Tuesday. Not only slammed, but standing room only. I don't know what happened but I'm so happy for them. Two subtle changes have happened and I'm all for them. A LOCAL NEWS channel sharing dreadful stories on the TV has been swapped for hi-def reels of lovely Asian spots, making our escape from the crazy world we live in complete. As an extra touch, we are now treated to soothing jazz, which helps in a room with so many happy customers. A special shout out to Sia, who greets regulars like family and will help you get exactly what you need. Hi to Wendy and the new young lady, all keeping a close eye on customer happiness. I believe KYO is on the brink of having outgrown this location, but a lease is likely keeping them there for a while. He made going to a sushi restaurant interesting again like when I first tried sushi. We start talking about Japan and he ask me if I ever had salmon skin.
