Went for a birthday party and had a great time until the male hostess in the red shirt started cleaning up for the night. It was 10:45 and he came around trying to take half finished drinks directly from our hands. He also removed the salt and pepper shakers as well as napkins at 11:15. Heaven forbid we spill anything. The final straw was when he threw away actual pieces of birthday cake that people were going to take home. While I understand trying to get a head start on cleaning his behavior was intrusive and unnecessary. I will return for the games and fun atmosphere but I'll keep a wary eye out for him. read more

Wow! This place is straight out of my childhood/ stranger things! All the old school video games from tekken to tempest to donkey Kong and Pac-Man! Also pinball! We had a blast playing all the games for just a $10 cover charge when you walk in...you read correctly! Pay $10 when you walk in, get a wrist band and then you can leave and come back later if you want! They close at 2am. Serve beer and hard cider and a few hard liquor specialties plus a pretty good selection of food items! We recommend the Cuban sandwich! What are you waiting for?! Went here with my girlfriend and had a great time. Great variety of games & the flat entry fee is awesome; for $10/person, you can spend as much time in the arcade as you like & you can leave and come back any time throughout the day. We didn't eat at the bar, which is attached to the arcade, but free water was available at the bar for everyone in the arcade. If possible, I would suggest going at a time when the arcade is less busy; my girlfriend and I had to wait a while for some of the games we wanted to play. read more

Went to visit the Dallas area and managed to visit this arcade bar. Bartenders were great in talking about craft beers they had in stock and thr selection of arcade games was amazing. Would definitely go again if I was to go back to visit. read more

Visited this place for the first time tonight and had a blast! Ten dollars gets you unlimited game play, pinball and plenty of arcade games too. The place was super clean, even smelled clean. My husband and I ate dinner there also. The food was delicious. My husband had the Texan and I had the turkey club. There is a nice bar area with plenty of beers, hard ciders, etc to choose from. Discovered Free Play, Arlington a few weeks ago. Great place to play the old 70's, 80' and 90's games that I played as a kid. Pinball games of all kinds and years and rows and rows of console games. For $10.00 with free in and out was perfect for a cheap night of fun with friends with the 80's music playing in the background. We chose not to eat there because the menu is small and more bar/appetizer food to me and I just wanted a burger, so we went across the street to J. Gilligans and then went back and played more games. Their full bar/drinks are very good priced and well worth drinking while playing games. I did not come across any games that were not working at all!!!! That is a big plus in my book. Everyone was considerate about sharing the games and didn't come across any issues. It was not crowded at all for a Saturday night and we could get on most games without a wait, except for the pinball machines of course because this is everyones favorite games. They do have a curfew that certain ages have to leave which leaves just the adults not fighting the kids for the machines after a certain time. Highly recommend for family's with kids, date night or singles for a cheap night of playing games and drinking if that is your style. Will definitely go back again!!! Well worth the money. read more

We had a fun time and I love they have draft beer. Its defiantly something fun and different. However, it would be nice if the entrance fee was waived if your drinking. I just don't know why it was call "Free" Play if you pay $10 to get it. I think maybe ages 4-20 pay a fee or even pay less for 21+. It doesn't make sense if your drinking in my eyes. However, I understand you have to make money to pay for the business. I would just re-evaluate the prices to enter. read more

I like the concept of this bar. You pay about 11 bucks to get in and all the games are free. The drink prices are reasonable also. Here's my personal experience: pay $10 to get in and play as many games as you want for as long as you want. Family friendly. Only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is some families with little kids hog up the good games and they just hover around that one area. I know it isn't their fault but there should be a rule where if you're not playing the game then you shouldn't be on the machines. The bar is also kid friendly as the bartender was AMAZING and gave my nephews cokes in a bottle and made them real cherry coke. Amazing place over all will come again soon. read more

It's a neat concept, be prepared to pay 10.80 at the door. However games are free so if you dig old school arcades games you'll def give it your money's worth! They have a decent variety at their bar, I drink cider so them actually have 3 options it's pretty awesome. Drinks run around 5 and change. They have a food menu and a patio as well which is nice. They have little drink stands besides the games which is nice when you're carrying a glass.It is kid friendly but I'm not sure if their fee varies from adult. read more

This is the best arcade ever! We went here for my partner's birthday after taking some photos together. I am giving 5 stars due to the value and atmosphere of the arcade. For 20 dollars (I believe) were able to attend all day and play unlimited games in addition to being able to leave and come back. The atmosphere was so chill and nostalgic! The drink selection was good and affordable. The game selection was also good and fun and I feel more than enough to keep us engaged all day. We left to eat at Prince's Lebanese Cuisine. We came back and only left again when we were tired and since we had to drive back to Austin, not because we were bored of the games. I would recommend this place for a date, chilling with friends, or for a party for either kids or adults. We didn't get to experience the adult's-only atmosphere because we left before evening-time-but that seems like it would be fun too! If I lived nearby I would probably come once a month at least. read more
