A bit of fake crab in my "vegan roll"
    Darleen W.

The service is slow. Quick to take my order, but it then took 24 minutes for them to make the 3 rolls before mine and then mine. I ordered vegan for the Tuesday special and they seemed displeased to give the advertised special. I found both crab and fish eggs in my vegan roll but little to no avocado. I knew from my last visit that they were skimping on the pricey fruit, so I ordered an extra topping of avocado only to have to argue at the end I had paid for it on top when he said he had put it inside. You can see from the photos that the inside is mostly cucumbers with a tiny avocado that comes it the roll automatically. He then cut up 1/4 am avocado and tossed the slices on top. The roll was cut thin for how loosely it was wrapped and everyone fell apart as I picked them up. Did not taste or look good.

We weren't expecting much for sushi at an outlet mall, but it sounded good so thought we'd try. Upon entering, the place was very clean, inviting and had bright colors. The staff was super friendly and answered any questions we had. We were shocked at the portion size when we opened it up - definitely worth the money even before we dug in. It was very well displayed, even in the cardboard takeout containers. First bite and we knew we made a great choice in popping in for lunch. Definitely go check it out if you're in the area and are in the mood for sushi!

Great sushi rolls and bowls, very delicious and priced right. We took them and ate them on the beach while people and whale watching.

The poky bowls and sushi is guuud. I would not spend your money on any of the other food. It's not worth it.

Poor quality roll, nothing was fresh, not even the rice. Frozen shrimp and macerated fish. Unfriendly counter service.

Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The food was SO DELICIOUS. I got the special which was the chicken fried steak and my wife got the crab Benedict - both were phenomenal! They serve sisters coffee, which is a great coffee brand that's local to Oregon. That's a point for me the coffee was great! We didn't have to wait very long to sit or to get the food. It was such a great way to end our anniversary weekend! Please check it out; be advised it's often very busy! - there are some reviews complaining about them not offering allergy friendly alternatives. I think that should not be a reflection of the place. That's not really a review... . Do you go to a steak restaurant and ask them to not serve steak? Part of the experience here is their wildflower toast which is fluffy and thick and delicious!

The rooms were cute and the back room is where you want to sit with the beautiful view. The food was amazing! The party we were with all got omelettes and they were to die for plus great portions. La Wawa Puerto Rican Soul Food - Lincoln City, OR…read more Driving on the way back from Newport, OR to Seaside, OR .. we were hoping to find a spot for some great vegan food. A quick Google search and we landed upon a perfect option, La Wawa Puerto Rican Soul Food. When looking up their menu we were thrilled to see, not just items that could probably be accidentally vegan ... no no, they have a full on Vegan Plate listed in their menu! In addition to including a picture of the actual food we received, I've also included a picture of the Vegan Plate as listed directly on their website. For your plate, you get some typical staples of slaw, rice, beans, maduros and tostones, each item seemed perfectly spiced and flavored and the respective textures were spot on as well. We actually ordered a separate side of tostones to hold us for the drive back (waiting until back in the room before wolfing down for the Vegan Plate). So, one word of caution ~~ blink and you'll miss them ~~ especially if driving at night as they are based out of a food truck. Whatever listing we found for them when Googling, we failed to take notice of their business model being a food truck model as opposed to a brick and mortar location. They are right on south side of Highway 101 so they're easy to find so long as you're using Google Maps or Waze and mindful that you're looking for a food truck. There's a lot of options in the North Oregon Coast, some accidentally vegan, some specifically labelled vegan, Pizza, Thai, Sushi, etc ... all great options. The Puerto Rican food was something we found to be a bit unique for the area. So if you're looking for something just a bit different than the norm, along with the comfort of knowing you're eating a vegan dish ... you need to drop on by and show them some appreciation!

Came to my favorite food truck in Lincoln City with my husband this evening (40 minutes before…read moreclosing), specifically to eat Puerto Rican soul food - the drive is so worthwhile. The owners Eddie and Amanda are phenomenal people and excellent chefs. Forgot to check in today and take pictures, but our appetizer of tostones (fried green plantains), entree's of chuleta's (pork chops) and beans and rice, dessert of maduros (fried sweet plantains) and cafe cubanos was so delicious and satisfying. They are in a new location near a wooded area off the 101 that's cute - we saw a huge family of Does and their fawns, too. Give them a try next time you're in Lincoln city. Buen provecho :) PS - there is plenty of parking and the dispensary does allow you to use the restroom, they let my husband use it. There are plenty of nearby public restrooms with beautiful ocean views, too.
