Always good service and food. Never had to wait to be seated, and the outdoor seating is amazing.

Went in December 2020. The inside was very large and tables were spaced out very well. I would call ahead and get your name on the wait list/reservation around the holidays or weekends. Service was good, atmosphere was nice(a little too dainty for a guy, if I'm being honest), food and portions were good, as well. Both our potatoes were not hot and when we told the waitress she apologized and went to let the chef know and she came back and suggested the cold butter may have caused it to be cold. Really? My husband had the ribeye and it was good but nothing special and I had the redfish and it was not hot when it came out . For the prices they charge this restaurant fell short of the expectations we had. I've lived here for four years and I think I've finally found the best restaurant in Madison/Hunysville. The food is delicious. We have been planning on dining here for some time but live the other side of Huntsville and happened to be in Madison today. We were seated immediately but we were early diners and the restaurant had just opened. The decor and ambience is really pleasant, the abundance of crystal lights coordinate well with the dark interior. The crystal Christmas tree was lovely. We had the firecracker shrimp to start and they were spicy and meaty, highly recommend. Hubby had the redfish and enjoyed it said the sauce complemented the fish well. I had the TB strip, whilst it was tasty it definitely wasn't the best steak I've had. There was a lot of fat which we calculated to be about 4oz and the steak wasn't as juicy as I expected. The baked potatoes were excellent. We didn't have a dessert but the choice was varied. There are better steak restaurants in Huntsville if you are craving steak, interesting restaurant not sure it's worth the drive. read more

Outstanding service. Knocked everything out of the park.! Mr. Brown was very kind to come to the table Himself and check on things. If you go anywhere to eat you come here in Huntsville / Madison. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly temperature perfect presentation perfect. Scallops were succulent crisp and very tasty. Side order of shrimp was also cooked to perfection. The food was amazing! We started with the chargrilled oysters they were cooked perfectly. The speciality drinks we ordered were delicious. Also, the tenderloin tip dinner and the shrimp and grits were also a hit! The portion size of the shrimp and grits was a little small, I felt like the amount of grits was not enough as I was unable to have some with every bite. The bad part of the visit was the service. Maybe it was because we were sitting outside, but we honestly were forgotten about. We had to ask for water twice before it arrived halfway through our appetizer. Was told there were no clean glasses, but the couple who arrived about 10 minutes after we did had water and bread promptly. Also even after asking for bread, we didn't receive it until maybe 15 minutes after we finished our appetizer. With all of the waiting, we had to rush through our meal and asked for our check because we were in a hurry to go pick up our child and the server showed NO urgency. When the service of the restaurant does not match up with the price you pay, not sure we will return. read more

Let me start by saying the location, ambiance, appetizers and service was great. However, the food (main course) was very underwhelming. I ordered a ribeye steak medium +, wasn't over cooked. We had three different fish entrees and all were a miss as the seasoning was the same on different fish, something akin to "blackened" and overpowered the fish, almost inedible. The couscous side was just average at best. Also the garlic/mashed potatoes were barely warm and lacked flavor (under seasoned?). The bread came out after we were served. Was this because the bread was plain with no "spread" of any sort? One positive note was the little neck clams. read more

Lighting: Surgeons have operated under dimmer conditions. Intimacy: None, no privacy for any table, imagine 50 (cheap faux marble-top) tables in a basketball gym. Spent $200 (incl 20% gratuity given good Service) for a substandard experience. Spare yourself and spend your money at any of the better quality restaurants in Downtown HSV. read more

It's also crazy that when you look them up on fb you see several people eating here with low cut shirts on with no issues. We were excited to try TB on date night. They started off by checking out temps at the door, which we appreciated but then noticed only a handful of servers/workers wearing masks or gloves. The prices are very high so I feel that only 2 dollar signs in the FB description is misleading. We ordered the marinated chicken with french fries ($21) and the chargrilled chicken with brussel sprouts($23) It came out very quickly and my husband noticed that the marinated chicken was very rubbery. In texture, the chicken felt more like a chicken thigh that had been frozen and microwaved than a freshly grilled chicken breast. The chargrilled chicken was covered in a crawfish gravy that was so overwhelming I couldn't even taste the chicken. I ate about 3 bites and couldn't eat anymore. The manager came by and asked how everything was and we respectfully told him what we thought of our food. He said he was sorry but that next time we should order fish ($35-$50) or steak ($38-$99). Those items might be what they're known for, but I feel that a $21.00 piece of chicken should taste pretty good!! We leave this review not to be mean but because even after our experience, they asked us to leave a review. read more

Perfect location, great food, great atmosphere, and great service. Be prepared to share as the portion sizes are huge. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly and the herbed butter was great. The crab cakes were awesome along with the lobster bisque soup. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the pork belly. I've seen this done much better elsewhere where the skin is left on and that part is crispy while the belly is melt in your mouth tender. TB can definitely improve their version. We celebrated our 26th Anniversary at Tom Brown and it was a fantastic experience. The cocktails and appetizers were delicious. We had the crab cakes and firecracker shrimp. For dinner we enjoyed the surf and turf and the wife had the scallops. Our waiter, Tony (Anthony S.) took very good care of us the entire evening. this is the most crooked place in madison!! they are all working together in this place stealing money!!! we were here for a birthday party and forgot and left our birthday cards on the table and they took it off the table and was fixing to steal it!!! we heard a waitress tell us that a dude picked it up and our waitress said that he did not see anything. long story short they finally gave us our cards back with the money that they said that they did not steal!!!! they ripped up the envelopes and just gave us the cards! do not do not do not eat here at this crooked place!!!!! they will be on news before long!!! read more

Great environment but average food. Could not swallow a couple of bites as they were too chewy even though I had asked for a medium rare steak. Also, we asked for no pork or bacon twice, but the bacon bits were there anyway. For the price, I would not recommend this place. read more
