Everything was good up until we received our main meal. The servers were beyond amazing, they were so attentive and very polite. The appetizer was delicious and so was the salad. Yet once we got our main meal it was very disappointing. We both ordered meals that are priced the same but got two different portions. The most disappointing part was neither dish tested great. I was in town for work and this place was recommended to me, so I went for lunch. I definitely like the place. It's a fun Italian restaurant with friendly service. They have paper down on the table so you can draw while you wait. And they've hung up some of the master pieces created by past restaurant goers. As for the food, it was good stuff! I got the baked spaghetti with meatballs lunch special. It was cheesy deliciousness with marinara sauce on top. Definitely tasty food! I would recommend it! read more

The server was delightful, but the portion for the expense was very disappointing. $25 for a few pieces of steak, some broccoli, and dry grilled mushrooms. I had the Bites and Bites. Also, the mushrooms really needed a sauce of some sort. The steak was tasty, but I was not asked how I wanted it, so it arrived medium well. I prefer medium rare. Additionally, when I asked about a gluten free menu I was told there wasn't one, but when I later asked the server about gluten free options, she asked me if I had the special menu! read more

The menu margarita thin crust pizza I have just been back from Italy after many months. No way is this pizza margarita, It was served with a thick crust although advertised thin crust It was served with a dry base and two thin slices of thin sliced tomato and a blob of mozzarella inside each slice of tomato slice ...... lots of oil and too much salt .... tasteless Actually margarita pizza base is covered in homemade tomato sauce with basil on top. I went to Tomato Bros. For father's day while on vacation in Clarkston. The food was ok, but for the price you pay, you would expect a little more. If the prices are high because of food costs, then they need to get those under control. The service was bad, our server didn't seem like she wanted to be there, very disengaged and couldn't be bothered. The the 4 guys that were seated behind us started dropping the F bomb and cat calling the wait staff. Someone should have asked them to leave, but...So we did and will never go back there again. And, someone really should dust the plants, made me wonder what the kitchen looked like. read more

This place is great for the Sunday buffet alone. It has a great selection of food, including bite size steak, and it is all really good. It's cozy feeling, but sometimes when we go in a decent sized group it can feel a little crapped. Probably could use a cosmetic upgrade, but overall a good dining experience. I'm telling you, get the Sunday buffet! It can get a little busy, so you may have a short wait for the best stuff in the buffet to get restocked, but it's worth it. read more

While in Lewiston for business, my coworker and I stopped at Tomato Brothers for dinner. We had a great experience! On top of the delicious food, the service was wonderful. The hostess was very friendly and personable and our waiter, Jake, was spectacular. He offered great suggestions regarding food and drink. When complimented on his service, Jake made sure to credit the other staff especially the kitchen crew. I had the Prosciutto Sunrise pizza (sans egg) and a side salad. The crust was awesome and the flavors well balanced. My coworker had the chicken parmesan and a half order of mozzarella sticks. His chicken was juicy, vegetables well seasoned, and mozz sticks were huge and very tasty. The cost was appropriate for the quality of the food as well as the portion size. I had the seafood fettuccini and it was bad. Scallops and shrimp were tiny and the sauce did not resemble any fettuccini I have had. Tasteless. My friend had linguini and clams and was served only 5 clams with a terrible sauce. Each entree cost about $18-way overpriced for the value. I've dined here before and the food was great, the atmosphere nice and expected the same awesome service. Today we sat in the Patioarea, the weather was perfect, the patio is cute. An employee asked if we wanted menu's ....and politely told us our server would be right out. Another employee came out, gave us the menu's and said someone would be out shortly to get our order. A minute later another friendly young employee took our drink order and even brought our puppy some water. He told us our server would be right out...... ......... ........... .......... 23 minutes later we got up to pay for our drinks and (surprise surprise) found our server. She explained that she is the ONLY one working and is taking care of customers at the bar. So if you go, go during regular lunch/dinner hours and sit at the bar, that is where the one person can take your order is at. read more

We went to dinner here for the first time last night while in town for a swim meet. we wouldn't go back again. First of all, once seated, we waited for about 10 minutes for someone to take our order. Then my husband and I decided to share a plate and my son ordered a kids ravioli. So two meals. We then waited 45 minutes for our meals. After asking the waitress twice what happened to our food a manager came out to explain that one of their cooks had an accident and cut his finger so they were understaffed. That would have been nice to know before we had waited 45 minutes. They offered to buy us an appetizer but didn't offer to comp our meals which is what I would have done had I been the manager in charge. We didn't get refills on our drinks while we were waiting for our food, we only got one loaf of bread for a table of three while we waited for said 45 minutes while the table of three next to us received two loaves of bread and they weren't too understaffed to bring out about 10 staff members and a free dessert to the table in front of us to sing happy birthday while we sat there still waiting for our food. My sons ravioli was cold so he didn't even eat it and my husbands food was just ok. And then we had to ask twice for our check so we could leave. Bummer. We were really looking forward to this place.
