You come here for the food and the food only and sometimes that's just fine because compared to the other restaurants near by they definitely are the best. The atmosphere in here is very authentic as soon as you come in. The music is great, attention to guests is great, and drinks are delicious. We came on a Saturday evening and the host seated us immediately. Chips and salsa were brought out quickly and our server Marifer gave us excellent service. I would definitely recommend and come back again on my next visit to lake Gregory! read more

I've never in my life have been treated so poorly by a establishment, first off the waitress corrected my moms Spanish, (Spanish is her first language) then got irritated we ordered an appetizer with an order of food to go, and that was the last time we saw her until over an hour later ...she kept avoiding us until we got up and asked the eta on our food, mind you the four tables that got sat after us...all got full service and their food out in a flash!! I understand if someone's overwhelmed and busy , but this felt personal , and I have zero idea why, when we have been such loyal customers and even had our neighbors go to their to support, to add insult to injury , we came home to find hair in our food!! solid mexican restaurant in crestline. there's three spaces for dining, either outside, indoors with glass patio overlooking the lake, or completely indoors next to the kitchen area. the food is really solid as well. we got the carne asada burrito and that thing was huge, packed with protein, rice, beans, and sauce. server was very friendly, offering unlimited refills of chips and salsa. overall great food with many fresh seafood options and authentic atmosphere! read more

We came to Crestline to celebrate my Birthday. The restaurant was recommended. It was a mistake! When entering the restaurant the woman at the reception didn't even make eye contact. She asked how many, we said 2, she said sit anywhere. Seating was a little cramped and the noise level was not "lively" but loud and hard to have a conversation. We sat and WAITED, finally a man came to table and "demanded" what we would like to drink, when we asked about mixed drinks, he showed us the drink menu. We WAITED. A waitress came, and just asked us "what will you have", no personality or approach. We WAITED!! Food came with no offer for additional items/service. Food was average. My burrito plate ($15) was suppose to come with beans and rice...all I got was sour cream and diced tomato?? Wife has taco plate ($17) and 1 magarita (no price given), I had 3 beers ($5.10 ea.). Finally someone came and they asked if I wanted another beer. No one ever came by to see how we were doing. We WAITED. Finally a different person came and asked if we were done, I asked for one more beer (it was my birthday, right?) and gave me a $84 bill!!! I gave them my CC and they returned right away....I thought something was wrong with my Card....nope!! They forgot to add my 3rd beer??!! ... not my mistake, should not be my problem....and how did it all add up to $89?!?! I will NOT be recommending or return to this "restaurant". read more

We are up here for a week vacation and found this restaurant on Yelp before our trip. The photos looked amazing and reviews seemed great. Couldn't wait to eat here. Came here for my Mom's birthday with my kids and we were all sooooo disappointed! Mom got one shrimp taco and said it was just ok. My son got the kids quesadilla with fries. He didn't like the quesadilla but the fries were the best part of all of our meals. My oldest son got the carne asada plate. He had rice but maybe 3 little beans. Disappointing and misadvertised. His onions and bell peppers were not cooked much. I got the shrimp cocktail and a bean and cheese burrito. The cocktail was ok. Great avacado, tons of shrimp! Sauce was meh and there was a small Amount of cilantro and a little tomato stuck under everything and it was so full you couldnt mix it up. The burrito was the WORST! I honestly believe the ran out of beans and instead of offering me something else, the filled it all with cheese... unmelted cheese! I am so sad I took my mother here to celebrate her 70th birthday. Oh... and everything is way way over priced. The bill doesn't have totals or any way to see how you were charged. We will NOT be returning. read more

Horrible food and service . Plain chicken no seasonings on taco meat watered down soda and rude lady.

The service is great. The food is amazing and the view of the lake is perfect. My wife and I like to go here and when our friends come up to visit and stay with us, we have breakfast there and dinner. The staff is amazing. We went one night. My wife was sad about her mom passing a few years ago and the staff came and they brought her tissues and they also brought her something to drink and told her everything was gonna be fine. That's why this place is my favorite cause they're part of the community and they treat you like family. read more
