The restaurant itself feels super tight and considering how many people are up and walking around at any given time almost claustrophobic. I was initially hoping to just so with the salad bar option and forgo the meat but when the question wasn't even asked I decided to just try the odd meat item but still lean heavy on the salad bar. Compared to what I remembered about the other location this salad bar seemed to be much more of a disappointing experience. The food itself was good but overall there seemed to be a bunch of dishes that didn't appeal to me. The food was really good. There's no debating that and the grilled pineapple is to die for, same with the cheese buns. But overall it just seems to be very expensive for what you do get. It's definitely not my top tier restaurant choice and I might not return to this particular location.

Some sushi which makes me nervous, but no funny textures and tasted well. Coffee carafe, water, and juice at each table. They lack in service. Though it is a buffet and mostly self serve, clearing plates, refilling table beverages becomes your only job and one you should be stellar at, they aren't so much. At least they are not rude.

We arrived and were directed to a table in the room for large parties. There were 2 parties occupying tables and one was a little loud. The table only had 9 seats so we told the waitress and they put a few chairs at the ends of the tables. Not ideal considering we had a reservation and one chair was sticking out. But another staff person added a chair to make it more comfortable. The buffet is set up past the lobby of the hotel. The first table has the plates, yogurts, and small boxes of cereals to choose from. To the left is the breakfast area with pancakes, waffles, French toast, and the long line for made to order omelettes. There was a carving station for ham too. There was the syrup, chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce, and whipped cream too. Past the omelette station was a vegetable tray, cheese tray, and a few salads, seafood, and sushi area. In the middle section offered of lunch and breakfast items. The lunch items included huge cabbage rolls, chicken, pork chops, ribs, asparagus, pasta, and a taco station. Breakfast items were sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, chunky potatoes, and eggs benedict. The dessert section had fruit and chocolate fountain, variety of squares, and pudding and jello cups. My first plate I had a sausage, waffle, eggs, and potatoes. I didn't overload so I also tried a cabbage roll. I really liked the cabbage roll with the mixture of meat and rice. The waffle still had some crispiness and not soggy like it can be in buffets. I went back to try some lunch items. Had a few pieces of sushi, shrimp, pasta, and pork chop. The food was alright and nothing really stood out as delicious. It was a typical buffet with lots of variety but the freshness and quality not quite there as when you go to a restaurant and have it made to order. It could be enjoyed if you are looking for a brunch to accommodate lots of people as long as they don't mess up your reservation!

Wonderful steaks and shrimp, mouthwatering! Be a little careful on busy nights, the shrimp (the very odd time) can be not clean/deveined or not the freshest. However, if you have any issues with a shrimp, they will replace the whole thing for you. Now that's customer service! Have never had an issue that they haven't dealt with in a calm, professional, friendly, respectful, and customer satisfactory way. Five stars.

First opened in 1971 in North Vancouver, BC, it changed ownership a few times over the years, now being a Canadian owned restaurant chain across Canada and the US. The Keg is a high end steakhouse with all kinds of cuts when it comes to beef, aged and seasoned to definitely enhance the experience of steak eating. My ultimate meal preference at the Keg starts with a delicious Caesar salad and the baseball top sirloin cut, with sides of steak fries and vegetables. This is one of many beef cuts at the restaurant, but you can also find a wide diversity of appetizers, steak cuts, chicken, fish and seafood and sides. The Keg also has a full alcohol menu - beers, wine and cocktails. Let's not forget amazing desserts too - many times I am too full to get a plate of dessert though!!! I have been to a number of locations where the restaurant is modern - but for the seasoned and regular Keg customer, one would know that many restaurants are located in old renovated buildings. Whichever location you visit, the ambiance at any location is an experience in itself. As an high end restaurant, it is definitely a fancy dining experience. The serving staff is very friendly and professional, and service you get is great, fast and excellent. They can answer any questions you have and make suggestions when needed. Finally, the Keg is a great place to celebrate a birthday, an anniversary, a date or any other reason you may have, and a meal experience you will not forget !!

That…read moresaid the restaurant has no idea that I am there with a coupon, so no judgement at all on the service, other than having to ask for a spoon, milk and sugar with my cup of tea with a tea bag in it..... did I mention tea pots are cheap and make far better tea for your patron. Spending many nights in hotels we try to get the breakfast included as it saves time and puts food in the belly to start the day. I was pleased to see that it wasn't buffet (trough food in my mind) and actually ordered food off the menu. Bacon and eggs is difficult to mess up, and they did a fair job of it, although the potatoes were almost empty inside having been deep fried (?) maybe a bit too long. Toast arrived unbuttered and not hot, so the butter packets supplied, although not ice cold, like so many, had to be spread. Those mere minutes cool your breakfast. Also the little plate of additions had plenty of butter, two Jif peanut butter packets and one raspberry jam. They're not expensive, so provide a decent cross section, or nothing at all. One huge pet peeve (and a big part of the 3 star rating) was the fact that my English Breakfast tea ordered showed up as a cup with a tea bag in it, and three quarters full of hot water. What, no teapots? How is that possible? Also had to ask for a spoon, sugar and milk. Not a huge capital expense to buy the crap metal tea pots, or even the better ones. The ambiance is typical Courtyard Marriott, cookie cutter as all get. The breakfast I commend them with and it's not the typical buffet breakfast included, which I dislike. Sadly the order yourself, wasn't much better than that. Could have been a standout from so many, but it fell short. Giving it another try tomorrow as we are here for two more nights. Please do better.

The server just assumed I meant 4 items. Okay if that was all, I would have been fine. The plate had less food on it than a children's plate. There were about 2 tablespoons of shredded hash browns ( remember this is a byo SLAM) the toast was 2 heels of bread that was tougher than shoe leather. In short, there was an embarrassingly lack of food on the plate. The food was just okay. I explained that this was not standard for Denny's restaurants. I have gone to this Denny's for 30 years and I have never had a complaint about the amount of food on the plate. The manager comes over and all he wants to do is talk in circles about nothing relevant. There were 11 beers on tap along with two snacks (sausages and Zwick's pretzels). Cans are pricey ($18.00 to $22.00 for 4). A bit sad that there's a few flavours you can't taste. - Pretzel ($3.00) - nice touch that they heat up your pretzel.
