Always a good experience here. Whether I eat in or grab it togo. Angela and Tony Sarwar are the owners and they are generally in the restaurant working. Tonight was no different. The place was jumping because it's Halloween and Karaoke night too. We had a couple of salads and the Boom bang shrimp. It was really good! Hot and fresh from the kitchen. Our server was friendly and even made recommendations as we couldn't decide. We didn't get any alcohol so can't comment on the bartender. It is packed tonight so it's pretty loud with the DJ going and karaoke ! There are regulars that come to Wednesday night each week. Evenings when there is music and a band is probably not there time for kids but the adults are having a blast. This place is more of a bar with music than a restaurant but the food is good too. This place has taken a turn for the better and is now my favorite restaurant in Collierville. I've been 3 times over the last 2 weeks and the food has all been amazing! I ordered the Philly Steak sandwich this time and it may be the best I've ever eaten... and I've eaten a bunch of them! The salads are really good and the burgers are excellent. The weekend brunch menu is so good as well if you want breakfast food, which I love for dinner. I would have given them 3 stars this time last year, but they have done something (maybe a new chef?, management?) that has improved this place completely. Gordon Ramsey says, that was a disaster! Someone needs to get a grip! Why do customers tolerate such bad food & service. The indoor restaurant has a bad odor. The servers act like they are aboard the snail express. The coke was nasty, the burger was wet & soggy. The meat tasted off which is scary. It's as if everyone is living in the land of make believe. Our second time here and again the food and service was pretty good! I had a burger and fries which was really good. My wife had the chicken and waffles, never had a chicken and waffles with bacon before, which was kind of strange but not horrible, just different. But why can't they put the butter on the waffle while it's still hot??? Frozen butter on a cool waffle is just NOT cool. But everything else was pretty good. read more

The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars was the fact that management had to have slipped up somewhere and not staffed properly for a Saturday afternoon. Our server was being put to the test by almost every table she worked. But, even with a mask on, she was all smiles. I believe I heard someone say her name was Desiree? She was on it. The food was spot on. Her recommendation was the Cajun chicken pasta and ANY of the burgers and she nailed it! It was my first time there and it won't be my last. Seriously...the only real complaint I might have had would have been about a table of two drunk girls. The language was loud and obscene...."F this, F that, what was that, B!tch?" Not great for the younger crowd that was near by, not to mention the older couple at the next table. You're gonna have those days, though, so I don't hold that against them. I will never come back here again. Today the service was awful. I ordered over the phone the lunch time wing special. I arrived at the restaurant@ about 2:15 and proceeded to the counter to pick up my order, I stood there for almost 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging me. Finally the young Allie P which is on my receipt said " Do you have a TO-GO ORDER, and I responded yes and my name for the order. She then said your order is ready and placed it on the counter as I started with my payment method , she immediately said we don't take apple pay and I respected that and asked if I could use my bank card in my apple wallet and her response is it has to be a physical card or if you know the number I can key it in, I told her to give me a moment to get the number although I found that to be weird as well as a security risk to verbally call out my credit card info in a public place let alone running a card without having the physical card. I didn't want to call my number out loud so I hand my phone to her with a picture of my card. The transaction was successful but I noticed she added 15% gratuity to my check for a TO-GO ORDER which I've never had this happen here before and I come there often for lunch , So I kindly asked another server "is this something new, I get the lunch special all the time and her response was "she wasn't aware and looked surprised when I showed her my ticket . She then said to the young lady taking care of me " oh by the way the CARD-LESS SCANNER now works. Now the tip wasn't the problem , because I've worked in food service and I know how important it is to tip , but it's the fact that you assumed by looking at me A beautiful African American Woman I was most likely not to tip so she intentionally added the 15% to my tab. I still was very nice and patient with her. The sad part is she would've received more even though she wasn't friendly nor approachable. Worst dining experience of 2020. Went tonight for dinner and was immediately greeted with the stench of bleach and dirty mops. Even though only half of the tables are in use we were sat at a filthy wobby table. Dirt and grime covering the walls and trim. After looking through the sticky disgusting menus, we ordered some margs. Based on how long it took the bartender to make them, I assumed they would be top-notch. However, it turns out they were basically a full glass of marg mix. We sent them back for a different cocktail and the smart ass amatuer bartender whipped up two glasses which were almost entirely rum. Brilliant. Servers were polite but we had to get up and get our own plates for our appetizer. The food was barely acceptable. Frozen fare with greasy unseasoned fries. Leaving the restaurant it dawned on us that the ash tray smell on the patio was actually preferable to the rank stink inside the restaurant. I'm back! We've tried Tony's about 3 or 4 times. Ordered off the menu 3 times. Food is ok but it could be better if an owner or manager was ever there to oversee the kitchen. Here are my reviews of the food. The Ruben sandwich was warm, I think cold sauerkraut must have been added last after the sandwich was made. Had to ask for 1000 island dressing. Plus, the fries were warm and soggy. Who in the heck makes a club sandwich with onions and does not quarter it? Tony. Again the fries were soggy. French dip was ok, huge bun, short on meat, which by the way, it was way over-cooked. Very little cheese etc. And you guessed it..Fries were warm and soggy. Tony needs a cook!! Tony needs an on-duty manager, who knows how to cook! My wife liked her drink I liked my bottle beer, both have decent prices. We will give Tony's one more chance as far as food goes, maybe they'll train/hire a good cook by next week. O one more thing, areas of the bar smell like sour beer!! read more

Starting this off, I don't like giving bad reviews but I have to talk about my experience at this restaurant .So I went to Tony's trophy room then other day because I hadn't tried it and it looked nice. It was always packed so I assumed it was really good. I was with a friend and we walked in got seated. The music was good but the service was horrible. When I asked our waitress what drinks they had bc I didn't know if it was coke, or Pepsi products, she looked at me like I should know which kinda was off putting. When she came back with the drinks we ordered our food. Starting off the waitress did not have a pen or paper to write down our order and when I said it she gave me a look of like confusion or like I was stupid, I'm not really sure. We got our food, i orders a Memphis burger medium rare and it was not medium rare at all. When we were done my friend tried to get the The Waitresses attention 2 times, once she made full eye contact and ignored my friend. She was not busy with a table at the time. Had a food runner drop a bit of boiling cheese in my lap on the evening of 3/24. " Drew " the food runner couldn't care less despite me being quite vocal having hot cheese in my lap!! Love this place even more so since they put the patio in! I've tried a few food items from here and the Quattro cheese burger is by far hands down ANAZING! The drinks are always cold and on point. Great prices as well and is right around the corner from our house. The only negative thing about Tony's is sometimes the music is to loud (inside due to bands) and family's bringing there kids on a Friday and Saturday night and not really tending to them on the patio. Single in the Suburbs....doesn't take much to excite....but we gathered a group to try out the new Collierville Sports Bar ...btw, great idea by Tony Sarwar...(local politician and owner of several restaurants.. He may be on to something with Tony's Trophy Room). No more driving to Buffalo Wild Wings for SEC football this fall! I tried the Smoked Turkey Wrap ...with bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato and ranch dressing...really , really tasty! it was very, very good and homemade "skinny" fries .hit .the spot Expecting typical bar food, we found food to be a "step up"...and prices are very reasonable. The service was incredible..(ask for David in the bar area)...and there was live music, too! I hear karaoke night on Wednesdays is so much fun with DJ Funn....I hope to check it out soon! Others at the table tried the quesadillas and the wings and were very pleased. There are pastas, fish and seafood on the menu...but we played it safe! If I can give you one piece of advice it's never come to this establishment. Not only was it one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant, but the waitress overcharged my husband and I by a disgusting amount. This time coming to Tony's will be the last. The service was terrible and every bit of food we received was wrong. My husband ordered the blackened catfish with green beans, and got baked beans and fried catfish. I ordered salmon with sautéed vegetables and got a soggy bed of iceberg lettuce. If you get French fries expect them to be dry and over seasoned. After coming here multiple times I will not be coming back. It's worth the 20 minute drive into Memphis to get what you actually ordered. Edited after being charged $13 for a double shot of Jose Cuervo that was served with a bug in it. Friday at 1230. Walked in and seated right away. Near center right of the main dining room at a high-top. We sat there for 10-12 minutes without anyone even offering us a glass of water. Two different waitresses walked by to check on 2-3 tables near ours. Kitchen nor the bar was slammed. Two guys walked in and sat at the bar 12 minutes after we did and were served drinks within 30 seconds. Bartender on top of his game but NOT the waitresses nor Hostess that sat us. Needless to say we walked out and went to Margaritas. We were sat, served water and chips all within 1-2 minutes. I saw Veteran flags at the Trophy Room which gave me an expectation I guess but having served 29 years ill never recommend this place to anyone. Military lines are bad enough so why wait that long at this place. Sad to say I cannot comment on food or even the water as we never got that far. read more

Absolutely delicious! I got the El Diablo with a side of Mac n cheese and my husband got the Memphis Burger with the same side. The macaroni isn't creamy, but pretty okay. The burgers were phenomenal! Mine came with chipotle mayo and jalapeños with pepper jack cheese. The closest thing I can compare it to is a Dairy Queen Flamethrower. I loved it. Bottomline. Tony's is everything you want in a neighborhood bar. Let me start out by saying that the service at Tony's is fantastic. I've been coming here for nearly a year and whether it's requesting a game on TV, changing up my order or sitting in a specific location, they are happy to make me happy. The menu is your usual bar food, above par appetizers (The Rotel Chili dip is my favorite) and the burgers are very good. I wish there was more flexibility in the amount of wings you can order, but hey, I'm not that fussy. Tony's has a lively weeknight line up. It's Wednesday and currently karaoke night. Thursday's are trivia night and you've got live music Friday and Saturday nights. Monday they've got Bingo (BINGO!) There's enought to make a Date night, Girl's night, or Bro's night interesting. OK, if I had read the reviews I probably would not have gone in, this would've been my loss. The blonde bartender-not there, but Hoss is a pleasure. The food is extremely affordable and tasty. The baked potato rivals the best steak houses. Next time I will probably opt for a baked potato with salad. Also interested in the sirloin steak, which got great staff reviews for only $12.99. I would suggest they be a little more selective on the TV offerings... Perhaps lose professional wrestling and cart horse racing... golf would be a good substitute. We will be back. read more

This building is very conveniently located on Poplar Ave in the center of all the businesses in Collierville with lots of parking and handicap spaces directly in front of the entrance. It was originally an Applebees but they have done some modernizing since they took over and it is looks and feels more comfortable, relaxing and inviting. Nice room with lots of Tv's, they have a vety good drink selection. Our very pleasant person tonight was Hayden sand he was a terrific server, ask for Hayden. They had a love band tonight that was very fun and made me stay longer than I expected. Okay I only gave them 3 stars and here's the issues that I will need to see improved to get some more stats. 1. Egg rolls & onion rings a little greasy or actually too greasy and just sloppy. 2. Shrimp in tacos chopped? I know we're not on the Gulf but seriously? If you go to Ichiban the peel & eat shrimp are full & firm, or Piccadilly has fried shrimp has full & tasty and these are buffets, if I started naming full blown restaurants then Tony's should be embarrassed to served a ground up, soggy and restless shrimp in a taco. There is no excuse to serve what amounts to a poor attempt at a shrimp salad inside if a taco. Look it up on any website, any other restaurant or allrecipes to see what a shrmp taco is supposed to look like and made of. Those were tasteless, spiceless and plain funky. 3. When I show up fairly early and there are 4+ tables available but I have to stand at the door for 5 minutes only to finally be told that there's going to be an undetermined wait because e b everything is reserved, not good enough. You lost my business to Happy Mexican that night, maybe get with the technology and offer wait times and reservations on your website, Yelp or some better method of communications. So, yes I will be going back and will revisit the ssesting/wsit/reservations and of course food situation and hopefully can get the stars rising for thisl ocal hangout. read more
