This was my second time to the trophy room, the first time was with a group of guys for lunch. This time it was me and my spouse. The beer selection is good and the food is pretty good but the place is FILTHY!!! My father in law always checked the rest rooms before he would seat the family, he would have run not walked away from this place. I was looking for a friendly place to wind down after work. Stopped by at different times and random days and found that all the servers were very friendly and attentive. The food was reasonably priced and to my surprise quite good for a sports bar. Nice shaded outdoor patio as well. However, I was not impressed with the owners. After many frequent visits I was never approached or thanked for my many visits. I wasn't looking for an 15 minute conversation, just "hi, thanks for stopping by." I hate to give this place 2 stars because I love supporting a local business but this place fell short in many ways. First, our server who was probably 19-20ish was clueless and lacked customer service skills. Second, the food was just ok. I had the fried shrimp, which is pretty hard to mess up. I admit to being a bit of a restaurant snob. But when you choose a sports bar, you can't be too picky. So I was open minded. But when you can't find a table that isn't broken and wobbling (drink spilling kind of wobble) and the chairs are uncomfortable 1970's style (and not in a cool retro way), it's not a good start. Then when they nickel and dime you for everything including salsa ($3.99!!!...for freaking salsa!!!) even though we ordered $6 cheese dip that had no spices or flavoring, they assured I would never come back. The fries were good. My daughter ordered a Caesar salad with chicken ($7.99) and it had about 1/3 of a grilled breast on it. Bottom line on this joint, they up charge for everything and cut corners on all those things you paid for. They have mastered the art of cutting their food cost to practically nothing and charging $7-12 for it. Congratulations Tony. Upon being seated the waitress should have informed us they no longer have menus. Instead she took our drink order and after bringing the drinks I asked for menus. That is when she told us we had to scan a code on a 4 x4 card to bring up a menu on our phone. French fries tasted old and were barely warm. I am pleasantly surprised by this local sports bar. I never expected Collierville to have something like this. I love all the local restaurants popping up in this area. Walking into Tony's I really didn't know what to expect. The parking lot was PACKED. I came in and was greeted by a young hostess. I asked if I could be seated somewhere near the bar. (The bar is amazing, the rest of the seating is mehh). She said I would have to wait, and since Elizabeth L. wasn't quite there, I decided to wait. I'm so glad I did. The service was SLOW as molasses. My dog could have learned to bring me a beer in the time it took for me to finally get one. I ordered a sandwich with avocado (because I order anything which has avocado in the description). The wrap was HUGE. I barely ate half. The fries were AMAZING though. The place was not very busy at all and the service was slow and the server did not know what a Guinness beer was even though it was on their menu. We then found out they did not actually have it. I'll try to keep this as short as possible. This gist: the WORST service I have ever had in my life. I'm not exaggerating. We were seated on the patio, it took 10 minutes for the waitress to come take our drink order (one beer, one wine, one cocktail, and two waters). When she finally came back an extra 10 minutes after that with only half the drink order (water and a beer), and she spilled an ice water all over myself and my child. We didn't get upset, we even helped her clean it up and said don't worry about it, happens to everyone (two of us have been servers, we understand). Took 10 more minutes for the second half of the drink order. Then we had to flag her down to say we're ready to order, to which she responded she'd be back in a couple minutes. 15 minutes later, she takes our order. It takes a reasonable time for her to come back, but she only brings half the food (of course, the half NOT including the only kid order we have). So my daughter is hungry and of course I don't want to eat until she is fed. Another 10 minutes pass, still no more food. I went inside to ask and they said it would be right out. Another 5 go by. She walked by and I ask her about it. She made some excuse about how the kids pizza takes a while to cook, which makes no sense. I understand different meals take different cook times, but how is it that every other restaurant has figured out how to time the cook times to bring everything out at the same time, but this one has not. Especially a kids meal. To put this timing in perspective, my husband has finished his entire meal before my daughter's pizza came. I have never in my life asked for a manager before, but I had to go back inside and tell the manager our dilemma. He said he will take a look at our bill. Ok? 20 minutes later we haven't heard anything. We have to flag down the waitress AGAIN for the bill, and I asked her if the manager has had a chance to look at the bill yet, to which she said yeah and briskly walked off. No explanation. I have no idea why she was so hostile toward us. Nobody at my table had raised a voice, cursed, gotten angry, NOTHING like that. If anything, we were extremely understanding. But this type of service was absolutely ridiculous. There was not one time we needed something and didn't have to flag her down. Oh also, we repeatedly asked for water for the dog, and she never brought it. After THREE reminders. We had to go inside and get one from the bar. Not once did she ask if we needed anything else, more drinks, ANYTHING. We also weren't the only table with horrible service. We saw the people next to us get up from a table of freshly served food and just walk away for good. This was the one and ONLY time I'll ever go here. read more

Both were good mainly because of the hand breaded chicken breast they used - NOT a frozen, flattened chunk of dense meat, but plump and juicy. I like that they have live music (was there around 7pm on two different Saturdays). Also liked the Southwestern egg rolls. Staff is courteous and mostly capable, but didn't knock my socks off with service. Draft beer (Fat Tire) had a crisp, clean taste (cold and taps clean because of being relatively new?). Flat screen TVs are plentiful and readily visible from each of the areas in which I've been seated. Overall, I'd give it a "good" rating and will try again. read more

They menu has been updated and it was nice to see some vegetarian choices on there. I had the veggie quesadilla -it had a nice large tortilla and was grilled perfectly with mixed veggies inside. My only complaint is the noise. There was a decent live band playing which is fine, but they kept the radio on in the back room, there was TV and noise from some game that was being played, it was just too noisy to linger for a longer time. We've always loved Tony's, and have appreciated that they stayed open through the pandemic. Have had a couple of not so good experiences, though. Ordered pick-up once during the pandemic and then found out afterward that there was a gratuity/fee that was not disclosed when ordering. That's fine as long as it's disclosed. It wasn't. Today, we went there for lunch. We asked the waiter if we were in time for the lunch menu. It ended at 2:00, and we were there at 1:45, so we were in time. We ordered 2 catfish lunches and a chicken tenders. Because we didn't specifically say chicken tenders "lunch", the waiter recorded this as the regular chicken tender's dinner. Given the context, one would think he would have asked which we wanted, if unsure. I'm not sure what the difference is as the menu doesn't say how many tenders comes with either and both have one side. When we received the check, we'd been charged $2 more for each of the two lunch orders than the menu stated, and for the regular order of chicken tenders which was $5 more than the lunch (so that's $9). We noticed the lunches were overpriced right away and mentioned this. They stated that new menus had been ordered, but the prices had already been raised. Really? Who does that? This wasn't mentioned upon ordering. Then, we had to wait quite a while, while they went to call someone to get permission to adjust the price. Again, really? Wish we'd noticed chicken tenders were wrong before we paid. My daughter seemed to think they were overcooked, anyway. We ordered off the lunch menu on purpose. The waiter advised we should specifically say "lunch tenders" in the future. Don't think there will be any future orders. read more

We came here after soccer one Saturday and they weren't busy so we ordered our meals and when it came out it seemed like it had been sitting in the warmer.
