Tony helped make moving arrangements quickly and his guys worked hard. We hired 5 guys for full packing and move services. Packing of small items was adequate but terrible for larger items. After getting settled in, we found several of our most expensive furniture damaged -- squat rack, monitor, art frames, bar chairs, $5k dining table. Reached out to Tony 3 times with no response. Thought this was extremely unprofessional. Would not hire him again or recommend him for this reason. If you want to take a risk go for it. read more

Really nice guys, but they lost parts of things (some screws that held my bed together) parts of my TV stand, dented my dresser leg, scratched my dresser and armoires, and dented my microwave. They failed to take the removable shelves out of my armoire so the shelves collapsed and were scratched. I deducted costs for some of the items (and added money because I ended needing their help packing more than I had originally thought). I wouldn't recommend them. read more

My wife and I were looking to hire professional movers to assist us from a 1 bedroom apartment (first floor) to another 1 bedroom apartment 40 miles away (2nd floor). We were met with a ton of options from yelp, thumbtack, and Craigslist among others (we are thorough with our research). We decided to hire Tony's Movers because they had high reviews that highlighted reliability and attention to detail. We also appreciated the fact that they offer a flat fee instead of hourly which incentivizes efficient and quick work. Our pick up was scheduled for 8am and our guys showed up early at 7:50. Watching these guys load everything into the truck was spectacular. They were SO EFFICIENT but never compromised safety and always handled our possessions with care. Unloading was just as impressive and not 1 piece of glass or ceramic was broken!! It's clear these guys know what they are doing. The best part was that when our extra large couch that was impossible to disassemble wouldn't fit through the front door of our new place, Tony's Movers came up with a brilliant solution. They removed one of the rails from our balcony then managed to lift the couch onto our 2nd floor balcony then in through our sliding glass door into our living room!!! We were BEYOND IMPRESSED!!!! It took over an hour for them to move the couch from the truck into the living room with all the trial and error with other attempts and they didn't complain one bit. They could have easily said "sorry we can't do it" and take my money and leave (remember I paid a flat fee) but these guys refused to leave until the job was done and I respect them so much for that. I hired Tony's Movers in 2023. My move had to be postponed one day due to poor communication between Tony and the scheduler. I had put a pouch with "emergency cash" (a large sum of money) in a small dresser in my bedroom and had inadvertently forgotten to remove the pouch before the mover's arrived. I had forgotten about the pouch until a week after the move; however, the pouch was not in my dresser. I called Tony and asked him to check with the crew which he said he would do but I never heard back from him. I am outraged that a "professional" moving company would violate it's customer and have filed a report with the Menlo Park Police Department. I cannot recommend the company at all. read more

**LONG OVERDUE REVIEW** I thought you guys were supposed to be a PROFESSIONAL moving company??? Movers came late, rushed moving our stuff towards the end because they didn't have enough time (but who's fault was that for coming late in the first place), dented our car and denied it lol (our car is very loved and stays in the garage, it's barely taken out so it is in perfect condition btw. We'd know if there were dents/marks already on there), asked for more tip money (SO UNPROFESSIONAL), and told us "this is the last time" because they were unsatisfied with the tip money we gave them. Never bargained with them when it came to their moving prices, which is super pricey btw, and gave them exactly what they asked for. I can not recommend Tony's Movers. I have moved quite a bit in my lifetime and can say we have never experienced the kind of problems we had with this company. They broke several pieces of furniture. Instead of owning that this happened they tried to "fix" them by adding screws. These were ugly (black sheetrock screws used on light colored wooden furniture) and soon failed. Three pieces have already completely fallen apart and are going to need to be glued/clamped or replaced. This means more delays before we can get our new home set up, as well as adding to our stress load and expenses. Secondly, they turned some of our file cabinets upside down to move them. When we opened the drawers we found that the files were scrambled. Thirdly, they left behind one entire pile of boxes that had been clearly marked to take. We are wondering what other issues we will discover as we unpack. Unacceptable and expensive. On the upside we were able to hire them on short notice, they showed up on time and were otherwise pleasant to deal with. read more

They didn't waste any time talking and were constantly working. They were highly professional and efficient! They even provided all boxes, tape, bubble wrap and moving equipment for $1100 I used them for our move last June 2018. We moved from a 1x1 in Sunnyvale (elevator) to a 1x1 in Milpitas (elevator). We weren't able to pack due to our schedules so they packed for us for an additional $300. We only gave a weeks notice and they were very flexible and accommodating. They arrived on time, around 8am with three guys (doing the moving) and two ladies (doing the packing). They all had on "work shirts" and seemed professional. They had everything packed and all furniture disassembled in 2.5 hours. Then have the truck unpacked and the furniture reassembled in another 2 hours. By 1pm they were on their way. Due to a banking issue I only had $600 cash (their preferred payment method). Tony was very flexible and let me pay the remaining $500 via Cash Ap/ Venmo. Don't use them. They damaged our floor, walls and other places of our house. They brought a very sick person with them who started vomiting and could barely stand. In these COVID times that is almost like a criminal offense as they are putting lives of innocent others at risk They bought dolly and other heavy equipment made of metal inside our home, which is not legal Very rude and would not listen if you request them to use floor protection and other standard procedures. As background, I called to make an appointment 10 days prior to my move day. During this call, they assured me this worked well and would be no problem! I also texted the night before to be sure they would arrive at 10AM as I had a tight timeline for my move. They again assured me it would be no problem at all and they would see me the next morning. Long story short, they didn't show up. After various calls and texts, the owner finally responded to me at 10:50AM saying they wouldn't be able to make it because they had gone to another job that was "bigger". They were totally efficient (and we had a lot of stuff ) in packing and handling/protecting our artwork too. I used tony movers to move last weekend. I truly believe that these movers made my moving experience worst! They were pretty expensive but I decided to go with them anyways since it was a big job. I even hD my friend there and her and I helped by packing up our car. One of the guys had attitude from the beginning. When they were done the damage was more than their fee!!! They took the handles off my new stainless steel refrigerator and could put them back on because the had used the wrong tool to remove them and stripped the screw! They broke my treadmill, broke a mirror on an antique stand, and broke a fan. They were just rushing and must've thrown stuff in the truck or didn't know how to pack it. They obviously weren't professionals. By the time I saw the damage I just wanted then out. Go somewhere else! I've had better for less!!! read more

My large couch wasn't fitting out of the front door in my small apartment so instead of trying to force it and risk damaging the walls, they moved it out of the second floor balcony... with only two guys! I was in shock and awe about the strength they had to move a couch out of a second floor balcony with only two guys! The move was extremely fast - moved my bed (including my extremely heavy adjustable bed platform which was at least 300lbs), dresser, desk, sectional couch, and chair out of one apartment and to my new one in an hour and 15 minutes - including driving time!
