Tony's is our go to parlor whenever we are needing our pizza fix! It may sound a little weird, but our go to pizza is a mexicana with pineapple and Canadian bacon - tastes just like pastor tacos! This recent visit was one worth writing about. We had placed an online order and when I get to the restaurant, the young lady who always tends the register couldn't seem to find my order. After only a couple of minutes of waiting, Allen (who I presume is the restaurant manager) asks me if I've been helped, to which I reply I wasn't sure since I was asked for my name, but then hadn't heard much else. He went to check and came back to inform me that some miscommunication had happened and my pizza hadn't been made. He mentions that it is being made as we spoke and would be upsizing the pizza to a large for the inconvenience along with a cup for me to get a drink while I waited for my order! I have to say this is exceptionally great customer service. I understand hiccups happen, especially in the food industry, but to put out a fire (no pun intended - for as we all know Tony's pizza is fire dept themed ;) before there's any smoke is incredible service. read more

Brought quarters so my daughter could play the games only to find they only do game cards that you have to load. That's fine, but I tried to load the card and the machine wouldn't read my card several times until finally it charged me. Went to use the card on a game and it said the balance was 0. Checked my bank transactions and sure enough, it charged me. Talked to an employee and they said there's nothing they can do and to call the number on the machine. My daughter was upset about not being able to play any games, so I went to exchange all of her quarters we brought for bills to use to load the card up, but they said they don't exchange. We ordered a Chili Verde Pizza for $35.50 and the Salad Bar for $7.50 with a Medium drink for $2.99, and finally a side of ranch for 75¢ totaling over $50. They made us go to the counter to pick up our own pizza, the Chili Verde was cheap (you can tell it came from a can) and was pale in comparison to their location in Porterville. The Salad was nice, but paying nearly $8 for a salad and being limited to serve yourself ONE TIME is absolutely ridiculous. The owner is inconsiderate and was spending more time talking to his friend that came in than even taking our order. For your money, you're better off driving down to the Porterville location. 0/5, maybe they should spend more money on staffing and food quality than the Firefighter-themed regalia. read more

My family and I have been going to Tonys Pizza on Coffee Rd. longer than I can remember. The pizza has always been great that's why we pay the extra money for it.I live right around the corner for the last 23 years now. We ordered pizzas from there a couple times a month and then the whole family eats down there kids and grandkids a couple times a month. I ordered a pizza tonight the same one we order every single time and when I went to pick it up, I had 3 inches plus crust all the way around. It looked like a small pizza in the center of a extra large crust. I asked the manager about this. He said oh the pizza bubbles and makes everything go into the center. I told him I've never seen that before. There's always about an inch of crust all the way around, but that's what he said so I left with the pizza not happy and I decided to come back and let him know that if this is gonna be the norm I won't be coming back anymore and he says well I have new people that I'm training so is it bubbling crust or new people that he's training but that was the second excuse so I walked out the door he came outside and said your next Pizza I could knock off 25% on your next visit. I let him know other manager that was here and he was great. He would make me a new pizza if there was any problem and would give you the old one for your troubles.This is a $55 pizza not a Domino's $10 pizza and you kind of want it right so he said I will make you a new one and I went and got the old pizza to give it to him and he said you can keep that so I set it on the counter and then the girl I guess that's his second in command, put it in the heater.I waited 20 minutes and he made the pizza totally incorrect on the toppings. I get a meat lovers with half pineapple on top and half olives on the other half on top and I got a meat lovers half meat lovers with olives which was correct and the other half was just a straight cheese pizza with pineapple not meat lovers so I said sir this is completely incorrect and he said I was in a hurry I didn't read your ticket thoroughly and I said OK I guess I'll take both these pizzas and make it work and then his sidekick Manager said no we can't do that. The previous manager if he screwed up your pizza he would give you the old one for your troubles. This manager tonight said you can keep that, but the girl said no she couldn't do that so I finally said just give me my money back so with them not making it right my family and I won't be going to Tonys Pizza anymore on Coffee Rd. There was a Dodger game on, but only one working TV, and it was small. There was no air circulation so we got a little warm! Want to add onions to the BBQ pizza? Can't do that either, and yes they're aware it's already a topping in the menu. I'm willing to pay for the extra toppings! Just make what my kids and I want! This is the second time Tony's somehow didn't get my phone in order processed. The first time was my grandson's first birthday, and tonight it was a family reunion. I showed up tonight just like last time and no pizza! No apology either. Tonight after they told me the order wasn't placed, I was made to wait 15 minutes before I could speak to a manager to request a reduction in price for the inconvenience. This newer locations is located in a nice quiet area. The inside is much bigger than the location on Ming Ave, yet I believe is still smaller than the Delano location. The facility itself is really clean and the workers are constantly cleaning tables right away once the customers leave. The atmosphere is very family oriented and people are constantly coming in and out to have parties since they have plenty of tables to accommodate for several parties at once. We recently celebrated my son's HS graduation here and one table was enough to accommodate some family and friends. Pizza is still the same and still tastes just like they make it in Delano. Price range is average and definitely worth it. I still think and believe Tony's is one of the best pizza places. Definitely on my top 5 pizza places.
