    Spring rolls

Toothpick has really unique menu items but the execution didn't quite hit the mark I hoped for. We tried: Bulgogi cheesy tots: bulgogi beef atop cheesy tater tots - sounded like an incredible choice. But the flavor combination of rich cheese sauce and Korean BBQ flavor was too dissonant for my palate. A really good cold weather/hangover cure option for sure. Spring rolls: pretty standard, about the same quality as you'd get from your usual Chinese takeout restaurant. Impressively crispy even though we got takeout! Pork belly bun bowl: Overall a very light dish, great flavor profile, a nice complement to the heavy cheesy tots. My favorite of the items we tried! We appreciated the reasonable prices as well.

We finally made it over to Toothpick in Torrington. We will definitely be going back! The food was amazing, service was fantastic, portions were very generous! We loved sitting in the window and watch the happenings in downtown. We shared the Bulgogi cheesy tots, I said I could literally eat those every day! Then we had the chicken & waffles and the bulgogi beef bowl. Everything was delicious! I was surprised at how big the portions were, we had leftovers to take home which I always love. I also had watermelon bubble tea which was super refreshing and just the right amount of sweet! Highly recommend!!

Great food, but the staff was all unmasked aside from a single cook. Obviously they don't enforce their customers to wear masks, and they largely aren't. So much potential wasted.

So so delicious! Super trendy cute interior with amazing food. Perfect for a small lunch/snack or a full meal. Everything we got was so delicious. So lucky to have a cool place like this in the area!!!

These dishes had such flavor!!!!! Omg. I will definitely be going back. But next time I will order ahead since the wait time was quite lengthy

Tater tots and chicken & BUBBLE waffles :)

Stopped in for brunch and the food was incredible! If you're a coffee drinker and like sweet, highly recommend the Vietnamese iced coffee. We ordered the chicken & waffles and BEC boa & tots which all came out at the perfect temperature and we're delicious. And Very friendly service!

Seems like the serving sizes are so small for the price they ask . it wasn't as good as I was expecting my food was cold as well.

The parking lot was also spacious and easy to get in and out of. My family and I dined there on Saturday for lunch. The service was good too. I started off with a single size scorpion bowl; I liked the famous drink, it's fruity and tropical. My kids liked their plain lo-mein; it's also a huge portion with plenty leftover. We were hungry so we started off with the yellowtail and scallion sushi roll; it's super fresh and melted in my mouth good. They also serve fusion tacos; we opted for the teriyaki beef bao bun taco. This came with lettuce, bean sprouts, sesame seeds, scallions, ginger, and soy. I was a fan, but not sure if it's really fusion since it's just a regular bao bun with toppings. For my entree, I went for the classic, General Tso's chicken with white rice. The flavor was good! I liked that it had slices of zucchini, peppers, carrots, in a hot pepper tangy sauce. The portions were good too. They have an extensive menu with so many other food I want to try. From pad Thai, curry, teriyaki, to sushi; there is something for everyone. The cocktails were tasty sounding too. My family and I look forward to going back again.

Service was a little rocky at the beginning since it took a bit for someone to come over to us but everything was smooth from there. I got salmon and filet mignon and it was pretty good and I still had so much left to take home! The crisp on the salmon was perfect without it being dried out. The steak was cooked a bit too well for my liking, but wasn't tough so it's fine. If I could recommend one item to get and one to skip for sure: get the shumai (like 3 servings) and skip the lycheetini. A good time overall.

Depending on what you've ordered it may take a little time to cook but the service is pretty good overall. Although it can be busy they do have comfortable booths to relax and enjoy your meal. Inevitably once in a while you're going to hear partying going on especially around the Hibachi cooking areas where families come for a show besides the food. Clearly a great place to bring your family. My wife personally enjoys the fresh made house salad dressing as I do too. I've tried the plain Chicken Wings (crispy), boy do they ever come out so delicious and hot. The Boneless Sticky ribs are sweet and tasty. We've sat at the Hibachi table twice already and enjoyed the food and cooking show. There are so many items to choose from I don't think anybody would not find something on their menu to enjoy. Everything I've tried I've thought to be delicious.
