But still worth the try even if you prefer a quieter space. Do not skip the churros they are the best in the whole capital region. Also the birria tacos are the best I've had in NY state. So good everytime! Lots of seating. Huge bar. And you could be in and out in like 30-40 if you wanted to. Great service.

The restaurant is very beautiful and there are vibrant colors throughout we enjoyed all the flowery photo op areas that are available. There was actually a very large heart near the main entrance where customers could take a photo; very cool. We weren't fans of the plastic silverware and they prevented purchase of their Margarita flights because it was a holiday; I get the flights but if we're spending $16+ for a lunch item or $23+ for a dinner item in restaurant we should get real silverware. Mom and me ordered the Fajita Express ($16) my stepdad ordered the lunch cheese steak quesadilla $14.50. we were a bit disappointed when the fajitas arrived; no searing skillet, what's up with that? Just the food on a plate. The quesadilla was a strange presentation as well. Folded over in half but not cut, zero crisp or crunch, and sauce on top. Never seen anyone have to eat a quesadilla with a fork and knife before. The food did taste good overall but the presentation was a fail. We ordered a few drinks as well. All drinks were served in plastic cups. The beer was reasonably priced and cold. The house margarita was delicious ($12) and the Mexican Muel was also tasty ($10). As for some of the other Margarita options they cost as much as some of the lunch and dinner items, a bit extreme. We couldn't believe they didn't have any margarita specials on Cinco de Mayo, another fail. The restrooms are a bit of a mess. The mens room toilet has a leak at the base and the caulk job is horrendous. One of the hand washing sinks is out of service with a grocery bag over the spout and valve. Overall we had an ok experience, nothing spectacular. If it weren't Cico de Mayo we would have just stopped by Teds Fish Fry. Next time I'm in the area and looking for lunch or dinner, we will most likely try somewhere else.

(See photo). There's no happy hour menu, so we just ended up getting drinks and starters. Pulpo Al Fuego - (4/5) Octopus was delicious but the potatoes were just okay (wish they were roasted or fried). Tostones Fridas - (5/5) These were good and very filling! Virgin Piña Colada - (5/5) Sooo good. There were also free chips and salsa which tasted great as well. Our servers (mainly Fatima) were nice and our food came out quickly. One also chased after us when she realized an umbrella was left behind which was nice of her.

There was parking around back but didn't bother finding it due to traffic from the event so parked a block away. Inside decor was nice and there was a DJ playing music. Service was okay, could've been better but waiter was friendly overall. Food was really good. Got street corn for appetizers (off the cob) loved that. French toast was amazing too, big and moist with fruits on top. Drinks were okay, needed more alcohol in it to me and had way too much ice. Only ordered one to avoid getting a drink I wouldn't enjoy which was $20+. I'd say it's a decent option for brunch as the food was good. Not sold on the drinks though.

First of all, Toro! No one, and I mean no one, told y'all to be this much of a vibe inside this…read moredarn restaurant! The design of this place is so intentional and curated. It somehow manages to feel upscale while still being approachable and relaxed. Everything works together beautifully. The decor, the atmosphere, the energy. The design screams that it feels Bonita. I stopped by during happy hour and ordered the guacamole, the nachos, and a soft drink. Now look, I know. I KNOW! Who goes to happy hour at a brand-new restaurant and doesn't order one of the cocktails when they looked exceptionally good? Me, apparently. I'm on a fitness journey, so I stuck with a soft drink - and a ridiculous amount of chips that came with the guac and nachos. #DontJudgeMe The food was great, and the happy hour menu was definitely worth it. I walked over from a nearby hotel, but I did notice they have plenty of parking available. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was excellent. Sorry, I don't remember the name of the person who helped me at the bar, but they were fantastic. Apparently everything was so good that I completely forgot to take pictures, which honestly might be the highest compliment I can give. 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend.

Tried a few of the specialties for the holiday but the stars for us were the margaritas. Just a perfectly mixed cocktail that we could not rave more about. More of an upscale Mexican restaurant with some spins on traditional favorites. We will definitely be coming back for a regular date night or even their extensive brunch selections!
