Was looking forward to trying this place, super disappointed. First off, there was black stuff that was coming out with the ice into our drink cups at the drink machine. There were just a couple tables set up in the place that were filled so we decided to take out food to go. We both had the mixed chicken/beef bowls with rice. My husband ordered no green onions on his and I ordered brown rice on mine, they mixed them up and the one without the onions was on the brown rice bowl. These minor issues were easy to overlook, but the food was bad. Maybe we are just spoiled by this great place back in LA, but these cuts of meat were not good. The beef lacked flavor and had a chewy texture and the chicken was fatty. Even after a ton of sriracha sauce, I still ended up throwing it away. read more

Yum! This was our first visit. We both got a chicken and rice bowl, and asked for all vegetables, no rice - exactly what I usually get when I go to Waba Grill. Just as a few other have said, I got more meat and the food was fresher than at the big chains. The vegetables were cooked perfectly. The meat had the right amount of sauce. We ordered the Steak and Chicken plate, and the Rib plate. Both were fantastic. This was our first visit and will definitely be back. You get TONS of food with the plates. The only thing I would like to see is options for sides. Being that this was our first visit, it's possible that there are indeed options, but I wasn't sure, so I didn't ask. I would even pay extra for different sides. All in all the food tasted great, looked great, and was fresh. This will replace one of our usual lunch/dinner spots. read more

Food is always on point. Unfortunately today their service lacked incredibly. I spent $50 on 3 bowls and 1 plate. I politely asked if I could get my salad on the side because I was taking it to go and I'm not fond of hot salad. They refused. I offered to pay for a container, they refused again. After a few minutes they got my food bagged up and ready to go. I opened up the bag containing the plate and pierced holes on the plate to prevent the salad from getting too hot. That's when a worker asked if I needed anything. When I told her that I've already been refused what I wanted, a third worker this one a man turns around from the from to scold me pointing at the pictures saying that's how it comes..... I'll never question their recipe because it's really tasty but their customer service today was horrendous and not one customer should be scolded for asking to pay for something. It's a shame that even though this food is great I will no longer support this establishment. They don't care if you get home to hot salad. read more
