Just bought a house about 2 months ago and noticed some water out by the pool. Didn't think much of it with how much the pool was being used. After a couple days though the puddle got bigger. Next thing I know my side yard was completely flooded. Got the name of the landscaper who installed the irrigation system from the neighbors and gave him a call. He came out and said it wasn't the irrigation but instead the pool. I tried calling some pool companies but no one could come out for a couple days. Then the puddle kept getting bigger and I was like no way is this coming from the pool, I hadn't turned on the pump for two days. I started fearing that it was a slab leak and shut the water off to the house. I called Top Notch and Mark came out the same day. I explained everything and he went to work. He started out at the street and was able to isolate the problem. Guess what it was. Freakin irrigatation supply line! Someone cut into the main supply line before the house shutoff. Mark found the spot he thought was leaking and dug up a 2 ft section down to the irrigation line and there it was. He made a quick trip to the store for some parts and then fixed the problem. I talked to him while the repair was setting before retesting the system and he was very helpful on giving me some tips and other things to be on the lookout for in the future. I'll definitely call Top Notch again when I have another plumbing problem. Mark responded to my request via the Yelp messenger in a prompt fashion. Gavin was scheduled to come out and give us a quote for replacing a drain pan in our second story laundry room, which was a bit of a strange job. After telling Gavin we were planning to replace the flooring with tile, he offered a solution I had not thought of. He told us he would cut in through the old floor to fit the new drain pan, then return to install after the tile was in place. I am grateful for this solution, and I was very pleased with his work! My water heater was leaking and I was afraid it would burst. Another company quoted me a week and a half to come out. Thankfully I called Mark instead, he answered right away and was able to fit me in the following day for a water heater replacement.
