By 4pm, I had received no call and after trying to get in touch with our contact person, I was told the tech was finishing up his last job and should be on-site soon. By the time 5pm approaches, I was told they would call me to reschedule. Of course, I received no call and when I tried calling a little after 5pm, the number went to voicemail because they were already "closed". The technician did end up calling me later that night to inform me that his "tools were stolen" (if that was the case, how did he finish up his "last job"?) and that he wasn't able to show up (that would have been fine had he tried to contact me as soon as his "tools were stolen"). Everything was handled very poorly on their end so we ended up finding another plumbing company to take care of our repairs.

If I could give negative stars I would. The short summary is they were so ignorant of local code…read morethat they did work that I now need to pay someone else to undo. After realizing their mistake the manager on my project stopped being responsive and skipped town. That was after promising to "make things right". This was for an outdoor project that required running a sink drain with proper drainage into the sewer system, as required by local code. I awarded them the contract based on how they stated they would accomplish this, which was to run the new drain line directly to the sewer line outside of the house footprint. When they started the project, without discussing any changes, they proceeded to tap into the sewer lines in my crawl space, digging a huge trench (3 feet wide) to accomplish this. BUT, for another change I didn't ask for, they decided to run hot and cold water lines from under my crawlspace, and do this in the same trench as the sewer line. That isn't allowed by code. There are additional code requirements as well they weren't aware of, such as needing to install new backflow prevention as a result. On learning this while attempting to go through the permit process, they assured me they'd "make it right", though became less and less responsive, finally skipping town and becoming completely unresponsive. In addition to having no idea about local code and costing me thousands in bad work and needing to pay a separate plumber to set this right, they acted with complete disregard for my property. One example is in running pipe out of my crawlspace. Unlike all other contractors I've used (electrical, cable, ...), instead of just cutting a small hole in the crawlspace access screens for the new pipe, they tore the entire screen out. This allowed rats to enter my crawlspace and infest my home. Another is that the trench they dug is the worst I've ever seen, opening up a 3 ft wide area just to run some piping. Bottom line, don't let these folks anywhere near your property - especially for anything requiring any outdoor work.

We discussed the problem and agreed to meet first thing on Monday morning. I contacted him later via text and sent him pictures of the valve and he knew exactly what the diagnosis was on and how to complete the work plan. He showed up the next morning and my wife provided access to the backyard and garage. He went to work diligently. We knew our main water box had been covered up due to a landscaping upgrade to the front yard and he couldn't turn off the main inlet. He had proposed a solution and scope of work, and we agreed upon the cost to complete that objective. He removed the rocks covering the landscaping and cleaned up the work, which was a considerable amount of extra work. He replaced the valve, tested the system and cleaned up the area. He charged my wife the original quote which was significantly lower than what we verbally agreed upon on the phone after discovering the extra scope of work, that was admirable and showed character. The level of professionalism and workmanship Alain demonstrated highlighted the depth of this technical ability. He adapted to the work plan and cleaned up a significant amount of rocks and mess that saved me a considerable amount of time. I won't go into the details about it but it's a tricky plumbing situation. I had some other plumbing company come out and they couldn't fix my drain blockage after 2 hours and some outrageous quote to dig up my pipes. It was a nightmare. Aaron came out the same day about an hours after I called. He put an incredible amount of effort into unclogging it but it just wouldn't budge. He knew he needed to use a blow bag to punch it through but unfortunately Home Depot was already closed and he didn't have one on hand. He promised to come back the next morning (it was like 10pm) and fix it. Didn't ask for any payment either which I thought, wow this guy is super honorable, didn't ask for pay because he wanted to fix it first. Came back the next morning and had it cleared out easily in like 25 minutes. The experience Aaron has is invaluable. He knows his stuff and he's friendly. Old school style service where you feel like your uncle came over to fix your plumbing issue. I will NEVER call another plumber again.
