5 stars - Great We ate dinner here while in NYC (8/25). The food was delicious. The restaurant is small, but nicely decorated. And the staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend going here!

Everything was simply delicious! The service was great as well. The swimming duck was my favorite and I will be back for it.

Topaz Thai was an unexpected stop while I was in NYC. It was very close to the hotel my husband and I stayed in, so we stopped in for dinner on a whim. We sat in the front window which was fun to have a little secluded area to ourselves and be able to people watch. The wait staff were all very friendly and attentive. We got our food quickly and they kept our waters refilled. I was happy with the meals we got. I thought they were both good, but not "blow your mind" good. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience.

Tried this on a whim while visiting NYC. It's a small location but the ambience is delightful. Their AC struggled to keep up with the heatwave but I don't blame them for it. The service was fast with the dishes coming out very quickly. The food was spiced for flavor and not heat. The duck was prepared extremely well and was the highlight of the meal. I'd definitely come back here again.

This place was recommended to me by a friend and I am glad she did because I'm this area frequently and never even realized this place existed! We came here pre show at radio city and were seated quickly. We weee presented with the menu and the specials, I ended up getting the yellow curry, and we split an order of the spring rolls. I had the Thai iced tea. Can't go wrong with it! The spring rolls were crispy, hot and fresh. The yellow curry was amazing it was some of the best I've had in a long time. A must try if it's available! The restaurant was busy but relatively quiet. Service was great, fast, and super friendly. The prices were good too. I'll definitely be back here because so many different things to try on the menu!

I come here several times a week. The food is so delicious and the staff is so warm and friendly. It's a hidden gem in the neighborhood. Sarah is the sweetest!!!

Amazing authentic Thai food that rivals all my favorite Thai for spots! The pad Thai, drunk noodles, massaman and green curry, and royal duck was amazing!

Friends, I love Thai food. Topaz was not what I expected. The food was underwhelming, lacked flavor, and the overall experience was poor. We had a party of 5. and we all felt rushed. The service was poor, the food was not impressive, and the ambiance was very loud and busy. I believe that better service, better taste, and perhaps lowering the volume of the broadway play music overhead might help. Topaz, please do better.

The restaurant's decor is vibrant and fun, and I loved that they were playing Thai music--it really added to the atmosphere. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. The moment I finished my cup of water, someone came by to refill it right away. When I accidentally dropped my napkin, they brought me a new one almost instantly. They started off with some complimentary shrimp chips, which were simple but a nice touch. I ordered the Swimming Duck, and it was absolutely outstanding. The meat was incredibly tender and sliced just right--not too thick, not too thin. The sauce was so flavorful I didn't leave a single drop, and the bits of pineapple added a perfect balance to the dish. This was definitely a 10 out of 10!

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the city, I would definitely try the street style dessert coconut ice cream with bread if you like sweet it is incredible. The service is excellent, and the staff are very friendly, it seems like a very family oriented environment. I have tried all of my Thai favorites here and they are all made with love. I can't wait to come back again.

It was our first time here, and we're so happy we found this restaurant to satisfy our Thai cravings in the city. This will be our favorite Midtown Thai go-to. The server is really attentive and sweet. This place is small but very cozy and Christmasy, they have beautiful decorations. We can't wait to come back to try more of their dishes.

Solid thai food, great service and super fast! I'd definitely come back. We got crispy tofu to start which came with a tasty and bit spicy sauce. Friends got pineapple fried rice, pad thai and i got drunken noodles. All of us loved our dishes and there was ample food given. It was a solid price for how much they gave, especially given the location in the city. Ambiance is nice for a small place. Service was super fast and friendly. I've heard their takeout it fast as well. I'd go back when in the area for a show or by the park.

Everything here was delicious. The esthetics were on point. The staff here were nice and helpful. Our server was so kind. He was able to describe and give honest option about the food. For starters we ordered chive lover, veggie spring rolls and the coco calamari. Everything was top notch. I loved the chives but the tables favorite was the calamari. Three of us ordered the curries. One green, one red and the last one ( I forgot the name) . Our other dish was the shrimp pad Thai. Everyone's meal was tooooppp notch!! If you are in the area it is a MUST to drop in. Your soul will thank you.

Was with family - in the moment and enjoying so I have no photos, sadly. Their alcohol menu consists of beer and wine. Tsing tao and Sauvignon blanc were our drinks of choice - as they were out of both options of sake. To eat - we had a little of everything - the wonton soup, veggie dumplings, pork soup dumplings, the ribs, braised beef noodles, the eggplant dish and ones of the fish. Everything was absolutely delish and the service was quick. They were also out of the dessert we wanted - the green tea cheesecake but we had the pumpkin dessert which was phenomenal! It came out hot and had red bean paste in the middle! Absolutely delicious. Took off one star because there were a couple of things we requested that were unavailable but aside from that the food was delicious and the service was great! The restaurant is near my friend's place. The place was exactly what we were looking for... Inexpensive, cozy and comfortable atmosphere! The place was a little busy, and didn't take reservations, but we were seated immediately. Amazing service and delicious food! The food was fresh and came out fast. Portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. My favorite dish was the Signature Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup, which was delicious and flavorful, and also gluten free, dairy free and soy free. However, the other dishes are not particularly memorable. The skewer meat was tough and difficult to chew through, while the burger had a mushy texture and lacked distinct flavor. The service is standard for a quick-service noodle shop; the staff isn't overtly helpful or friendly, but they aren't inhospitable either. Stick strictly to the wide noodle dishes if you decide to visit.

The beef soup is clear and light and the noodles have a delightful texture, with a slight chew and good bounce. There's a good portion of braised beef as well. Tender but a bit fatty for my taste, but given the portion it's not going to kill you. Lamb burger ended up as overkill and will be consumed as leftovers but a quick sampling let me know that it's gamey and fatty with strong notes of cumin. Not a bad thing, but something to note for people that might not generally enjoy lamb or cumin. Black pepper beef rice bowl was solid too. Spice wise, you can calibrate accordingly but I'd recommended at least their regular spice level. Decent amount of tenderized but still chewy beef. Both dishes came with a salad of celery, carrot, cucumber, peanuts and seaweed strips in a light sauce. Couldn't quite figure out the sauce but it was lightly tart and refreshing. Space is clean and modern. Neutral wood, well lit. Service is friendly enough. If you dine in, you order at the kiosk and they'll deliver to your table. We had leftovers that they graciously packed up. Solid choice. I hope they stick around as they do bring a different cuisine to the area.

Once "dinner" hours comes around, they set out candles on the tables and dim the lights for a different ambiance. The service was a bit off at first, since we waited a while to get our appetizers. This might have been due to the change in staff between lunch and dinner. The hostess noticed and checked on our appetizers, and got them right out.
