We waited 40 minutes for our food . We arrived at 730 the food came at 810. It wasn't crowded and the food wasn't good. The onion rings didn't taste right. The chicken wings were ok . My husband had a cheese steak and it said it was ok. Our waitress didn't even check in with us. When we asked where our food was after waiting 30 minutes the waitress said I did just check on it. They had a big order in ahead of you. We won't be going back . Very disappointed. read more

The AYCE breakfast buffet was absolutely horrible. There was a very long wait just to pay and get in. Then my friends all wanted to leave once we saw the minimal selection but since we paid they didn't want to go through the hassle of a refund. Think of it like a continental buffet that you often get for free at many motels but you're now paying $20 for plus tips. The service was also very poor with the waitress messing up our drink order and frowning a couple of times on what was a very basic order. And it took a very long time for the drinks to actually come. I also look at the layout of the buffet with the wait staff having to walk very long distances just to get basic food, drinks, and supplies so the layout also leads the wait staff to be very disgruntled. read more

Can't leave a good review for nonexistent service, leaving one star as for the average of everything, the view was wonderful. Menu looked interesting, so my mom and I asked for a table. After our menus were given to us, the hostess, our only sign that there was someone who worked there as we would later realize, resumed her role at the front of the establishment. If this was a cartoon, a tumbleweed would have rolled on past as the minutes rolled by. By the time it passed a half hour and there was no waitstaff to even say "I'll be over in a few." so we left. There were barely any other people in the dining area around the bar. There was no reason for not at least seeing a food server or even the hostess apologizing for the delay. read more

This is for the food, we stayed at the ocean resort saw they had a Thursday special for a lobster $24( only 3 dollars cheaper than any other day I realized). Our server was super kind and courteous he was great. But the food was sub par( no pun intended). We ordered the nachos to start but they were bland and barely warm. Then we received the lobster 1 1/4 lb with corn on the cob and 2 baby red potatoes halved. Cold rubbery and flavorless. Do not waste your time or money. Wish I would have read Larry M. Comfortable,welcoming and excellent food. I have been here twice for the $24 lobster dinner which is a great bargain and really delicious. The place is cavernous and the servers have a long long walk to the kitchen but I didn't think the service was inattentive. They're short staffed but the service was just fine. Only drawback for me was that I didn't have room for the corn and potatos and they aren't really set up for take out. Next time, I'm bringing my own tupperware! read more

We enjoyed our time together there. I would recommend eating somewhere else first. The food is not appealing or flavorful. We tried a bunch of appetizers while playing golf. The pulled pork was bland, served with ketchup, spinach dip was so-so, and etc with the other food as well. I'd recommend the beer and golf; it's fun. I want to preface this with stating that I never leaver terrible reviews for an establishment as I'm generally of the opinion that off nights occur. However, I feel I have to write about our experience here. My future sister in law's friends planned a night out in AC for her bachelorette party. As part of the night one of them made a 7:00 p.m. reservation at Topgolf for a two hour time period. I will certainly admit that we were running late and did not arrive until 7:12 p.m. When the friend who made the reservation attempted to check in we were told that our suite had been given away to a walk in party because they have a policy of giving away reservations if you're not there within a 15 minute window. Now, as stated we were 12 minutes late, but that is not 15, and moreover no one had ever communicated this to the friend when the reservation was made, nor did we receive a call letting us know the reservation was going to be given away. If you have a 15 minute window policy, which I can understand for a busy place, you should let the guests know ahead of time, and stick to that 15 minute policy, it would not have been difficult to tell the walk in party to wait another 3 minutes to see if we arrived. However, here is my larger issues. We of course questioned this and instead of apologizing, the hostess proceeded to spew rudeness at us, the likes of which I have never heard from someone in the service industry. If she had apologized, and been upfront about the policy we probably would have left and been fine with it. However, the way we were spoken to by the hostess as the face of the company was unacceptable. We ended up speaking to a manager, after having to find him ourselves. He was apologetic and kind, but told us that he would try to fit us in soon and would call us when he could, and we never heard from him. I will not say it ruined the bachelorette's night, because we found other things to do, but as a whole the experience was terrible and I'm still left shocked at how we were spoken to. We opted for AC over going to the Mt Laurel location. It's definitely a different vibe, but fun nonetheless. We came with a big group & needed two bays for our birthdays. It was a ton of fun & the server was great. I didn't care for the toquitos but the bbq chicken quesadilla was a hit as Well as the crab dip. Highly recommend for colder, AC nights. Virtual was cool because we could play dodge ball or soccer and other games for those of us who weren't into golf. read more

Me and my 3 friends went to Top Golf. We were told the directions and such. After playing 1 game we realize the computer was off and it was very laggy. It took a while to play 1 game so it would kinda force you to pay for more time. What we didn't like especially was our server asked for our drink order, then after not even 2 sips into my drink asked us if we needed anything else with the bill in his hand. If I could give ZERO stars , I definitely would. Now I know why they have 2.5 stars ( generous or reviews by employees of TopGolf and Ocean?). Very surprised that a hotel like Ocean Casino would allow this " restaurant " to take up space. My wife and I had reservations ( another joke as they sat us at the " restaurant " entrance). We both ordered the lobster dinner. It came out within 5 minutes, not hot, "Mexican corn" wasn't even cooked, and the lobsters were rubber and tasteless. The knife wouldn't even cut the lobster tail meat. No lemon, no salt or pepper on the table ...ridiculous. We had to ask the hostess (as we were right there) to find our waitress. She came over and took the "lobster" away. The manager came over and we told him what the problem was and he made excuses. He didn't care and avoided our table like we had Covid for the rest of our time in this poor excuse for a " restaurant ". We both ordered the fried shrimps, this was gummy, but came with lemon, but no coleslaw as the menu stated. I asked the waitress for coleslaw and she brought it. Didn't know you had to ask. After tasting it, I now know why they " forgot" the coleslaw. It was SOUR and probably as old as the frozen lobster. If you have any intentions of eating there...RUN AS FAST AS YOUR FEET WILL TAKE YOU....in other words.... Run... don't walk....POPEYES has better food. read more

I truly give this cooking staff a BIG FAT ZERO ... why some may ask ... I ordered myself the lb of crabs and my husband (whom happens to be an executive chef and was in his uniform) ordered the lobster .. the lobster was under cooked .. we brought it to the servers attention and I quote " I will go get the chef" and server did not come back. We finally found a chef (Executive chef Darren) and he even looked at it and i quote "oh thats under cooked". The intestines were yucky green (i am a nurse and know that if one consumes it they could get sick-it's TOXIC. When I walked to the server to obtain a box to take my food to go (my hubby could not enjoy his meal there so I'll take mines to go) I asked him if he knew who the chef was that made the lobster, he informed me it was "Chef Darren". I attempted to leave a note with "cook Darren" to inform his staff how when they screw up an order it takes away from the tip of the server. "Darren" informed me that I was "ignorant" for doing so. Ignorant is not knowing and I KNOW HE AND HIS STAFF ARE THE DEFINITION OF IGNORANT AND INCOMPETENT. If I could post the picture of my husbands meal I truly would do so. This place, in my opinion, would great for finger foods and sports on the TVs or to enjoy the view of the ocean. Oh and virtual golf. Top Golf is located in the Ocean Casino. It is virtual unlike the driving range in other locations. They are supposed to be open until 1am. We arrived at 11:15pm and planned to book a lane for an hour. We were told we could only play for a half hour. We were able to extend for an additional 15 minutes as per Holly M. There were multiple lanes next to us extended past our time. If you close early don't post you are open late. read more

My friend and her 13-year-old son and I decided to make a nice day heading to Topgolf located at the ocean casino and resort in Atlantic City. The computer kept breaking down and someone did come over and reset it which gained us an extra 15 minutes. There were menus on the table in front of us but not one person came over to ask if we wanted anything. We actually thought about asking someone but wanted to see how long it would go on for. When we were trying to check out the young man informed us to ask our server for the bill at that point I asked what server? What a shame because we went to another food outlet and ate and spent well over $100. They really missed an opportunity here. Needless to say, won't be back. read more

I come to Top Golf a couple of times a month to have a bite to eat before I gamble. The food is tasty and drinks are always good but I it seems like there are a few people who work really hard there and many that seem to stand around. There is only 1 bartender there for a bar that seats probably 40 people and it appears that he has to do the service bar too. It appears that some staff try to help but mostly seems like some people aren't team players. I sometimes have a drink in the lobby bar which appears to be half the size of TopGolf but has 2 bartenders and a bar back every time I'm there. It seems odd for one bar that serves only drinks to have 3 staff and a bar that is twice the size and serves food plus is a service bar to have only 1 person. read more

Came here today as a walk-in. They did not have anything available but had a reservation for 3 hours later. Once explaining we weren't sure we wanted to wait so long due to us wanting to eat ASAP they were able to bump the reservation up an hour. Once here and put into our bay we weren't acknowledged for almost 20 minutes. The server who finally came, Michelle was so apologetic and kind. She made what could have been a hostile situation super pleasant. She had the best customer service and was extremely attentive. She made sure we were accommodated for any issues. Super friendly and outgoing. Also went to the bar afterward where Gladys was on top of our drinks the entire time. She recommended awesome shots and was super cool! The games were fun especially the full swing golf game which was advertised. They also had other games away from where you were sitting and tvs everywhere. The service was not very good and we had to track down our server just to ask for the check and then to give her the check back. We got the cheeseburger sliders and the cheese fries were fantastic. The one thing was we tried to play golf and there was a technical issue so we had to wait 5 minutes to find our server (or just a server) and get someone to fix it. Even when we told our server about the issue it wad another 10 minutes until someone got there and it took them another 5 minutes to fix it. By the time we ended up getting it fixed we lost 10 minutes and although it might not seem a big deal we extended our time at the end by 15 minutes so we lost almost all of that. Overall it was an okay experience. Wouldn't be my first choice to go in Atlantic City during the winter. read more

Absolutely awful. Game stopped working half way through. When that happened and they couldn't fix it they asked us to leave. This was our only plan. There was no "please stay here is a drink on us for the unconvince" ...nothing. They credited us for a game we didn't even play yet and acted like the malfunction wasn't their issue. This version of a Top Golf is nothing like others where you actually are hitting outside in a driving range from multiple levels. Locations like Las Vegas and Nashville put this to shame. Other locations also have pools, a lot of games, fire pits, live entertainment and dance floors. Unfortunately this one has none of that. The only screens that are somewhat realistic are the golf. The rest like dodgeball and baseball are not realistic at all. The screens are very slow to react to pitches in the baseball and the throwing of balls in the dodgeball game. Kids under 12 may find this entertaining but I doubt any adults will. Also check the prices for the drinks. We have never paid more than 12 bucks for a glass of Santa Margherita Pinot grigio, even in Vegas. Here it was 20 bucks, I can buy a bottle in a liquor store for 14! The only thing this place has going for it is the view. The service at the bar was also spotty at best. read more

i've never written a yelp review but my experience here was so horrible that i feel it's necessary...my cousins & i had a good time with the games but the food was disgusting and management was terrible to deal with. we ordered 3 milkshakes that were watered down and basically warm. the desserts on top of the shakes (donuts, pretzels, popcorn) were stale and soggy. my 12 year old cousin, who was the only one who drank her shake, got sick almost immediately and threw up. staff did absolutely nothing to help besides hand me a towel and walk away. it took 30 minutes before someone came to ask if we were ok. spoke to the manager who argued against everything i said, insisting that everything was fresh. was only comped for 1 of the shakes after everything. terrible customer service, will not be going back. read more

Don't take the time to write many reviews but thought I should give my review of this hidden gem. Was the experience perfect...nope, I agree that the front desk needs to up their game, but we were greeted and a drink order taken promptly once seated. The nachos took a little longer than I would have wanted, but were worth the wait! Our burger and pulled pork sliders were tasty and reasonably priced. Stumble onto this place because we were staying st the resort and it was raining outside. Let's start with the positives. The interactive games were fun and entertaining. We played the baseball pitching, soccer and dodgeball games. We played for 30 min which I feel is the perfect amount of time. That is all of the good things to say. The negatives are everything else. The customer service was atrocious. When you walk into this place there is a person by the door that sets all the games for you. God forbid she says anything to you. We walked and wondered around for 15 min trying to figure out how everything works. There were 3 employees hanging out at the bar (one which I believe was the manager) just watching us and never asking to help us. Finally, went to the bar and we asked (of course they had to finish their conversation before acknowledging us), and told us we had to go talk to the women at the front. She must not have seen us because she was too busy on her phone. We finally get set up and played the games. But I'm still not done. We tried to order drinks at the bar. Again had to wait for the employees to finish their 10 min conversation (and yes we were the only ones at the bar trying to order drinks). I order a drink off their menu, and was told they don't make it anymore. I order a beer and they didn't have that beer either. The bartender that it was hilarious that they didn't have anything I was ordering, but I was just getting more and more angry and frustrated. Finally we just left. This place gets 1 star because the games were fun. But it was one of the worst customer service experiences that I've ever had. The games aren't worth it.
