I've been an avid Topgolf customer for years now down in Alexandria, VA. Tonight was the first time I went to the Germantown location. It was mediocre and over priced. Almost $50 for an hour of play is ridiculous. Was double charged for a membership and also charged for someone else's bay. When I called to have it corrected I was told I couldn't receive my money back to my checking account for 3-5 days. I was also informed I was charged extra on my bill and was told there was nothing they could do about it at this point. Terrible customer service and managment. I will not be returning to this location. Left feeling rushed and robbed. Do not recommend. read more

I kept seeing people posting pictures of this place so we decided to try it out for ourselves finally. It was three of us in a bay (although you can have 6) and we used my $10 off referral discount so that was nice. We played for about 2.5 hours until close and I'm not gonna lie it was a work out but A LOT of fun. I will say the food and drinks are pretty pricey and we didn't get much of a buzz from it but I would still come back and do it again, just maybe eat beforehand lol. Regardless we still ended up paying about $55 each, before tip, for lots of golf, some wings and fries and I think about 5 drinks total. Not bad! Can't wait for the Baltimore location to open! Today was Thursday, January 6 playing golf at 1 PM. at top golf. paying $40 an hour and 35° weather wasn't bad but when the equipment malfunctions and would not register your balls. and you manually had to put them in. The wait staff was wonderful. The manager was a total a-hole. couldn't care less if I was gonna write reviews and put them everywhere did not care about the company. told me I should've stopped and looked for him while I'm getting charged $40 an hour. My business partner purchased a short-term Platinum Membership for our company to try out. The first time we attempted to use it the limitations and "sorry we can't do that" came out. I may go back for a single-use but keep your Platinum Membership. Too many restrictions. Message to corporate management: Top Golf is providing a product, you make it hard to do business people will go where it's easier to do business. My gripe is with company policy, the local people in Germantown were OK. After that, the service and food are well worth the experience. read more

For appetizers, I recommend the nachos and the macaroni bites (which comes with a tomato dipping sauce that is pure heaven). Main-dish-wise, the fried chicken sandwich is life-changing, honestly. SO GOOD. Pair that up with the tots and you'll be one of the best food comas of your life. Been going to top golf locations in the area for 4 years now. Last night I was celebrating my son's graduation at this location. I'm the middle of of celebration the power goes out. With all the confusion from the night my designer sunglasses were left behind. I show up to retrieve my glasses because I'm sure they didn't clean the tables until this morning or last night. Nobody seems to know where the glasses went there is no lost and found there is no trace of the glasses which is very annoying and unprofessional due to the fact that we were celebrating in your establishment and due to the power outage no one could see the table. At this point they were stolen by an employee and it's very frustrating all they said was we don't have them with no apologies. Went to TopGolf with some friends when we got there everything was fine. Until we all got to the bay. It was six kids and 3 adults We all were trying to watch our kids and help them pick clubs. One of the ladies on the staff came and snatched the club from my kid and told them he couldn't touch them. So I grabbed it and passed it to my kid. I was trying to teach one of the kids to hit the ball and they kept coming at me saying that I couldn't be over the red line. After that the lady wouldn't stop hovering over us. Wouldn't leave us alone. Then they started coming over to us and telling us that some of us need to go because we were over 8. We can't leave our kids alone and we just took a step out of the bay so we could still see them. kept telling us we needed to back up and wouldn't stop repeating rules and policies. Horrible service, the game is faulty and there is something wrong with the food. For mediocre bar food, it tastes ok, but there is something wrong with it. Each time we go, my husband and I eat totally different things and yet we both get sick to our stomachs that evening. I was hoping that during the winter and spring they improve so we retuned 7 months later with hopes up. Sadly, the service got worse and while the food tasted ok (aka very salty) it caused severe stomach upset for my husband on our way home and sickened me too. The waiter was inattentive, the beer was warm and we had to ask 3 times for our coke and 2 glasses of water. In the 98 degree heat they brought out water with no ice. Eventually the manager had to bring us cups of ice. So the food and drinks and the service are bad but there is still the fun of playing golf, right? Wrong! During my 2nd round of 20 balls I finally realized that 1/3 of my shots that landed in the targets were not counted! I started to pay closer attention and I watched with disappointment as the ball clearly landed in the target net (green mostly) but showed up as 0 points. Didn't have the most pleasant time. Came In and got our bay for golf and had a fun time but that was it. Service was not good at all. Both waiters, very nice, but forgot to write down our orders and gave out the wrong drinks four times. Ordered wings and they were never sent through until I had to ask again. Lemonade was watered down, tasteless. It was a very hot day and no refills on water. I went to go wash my hands and I see like two to three people just chilling at the bar area not asking people outside for more water or checking to order more drinks when you could get more money. I say that because my friends and I wanted to order more. Overall golf was chill but lack of service and forgetful service really cost this. Absolutely love this place. The top golf venue is ginormous with a lot of space in our golfing sections. I think the perfect amount of time to be there is about 2 hours. We had the opportunity to extend our stay by 30 minute increments for a small nominal fee. Wait time was about 1.5 hours without a reservation for a group of 15, so please make one! Drinks were relatively good! We had three pitchers of Blue Moon for about $65, a Moscow Mule, and a top golf drink that we got to bring home the cup. The food was brilliant. I enjoyed the crispy wings and crunch fries. Nachos were pretty good too! Overall a great experience on a Saturday night. Will hold more events here. read more

I would say my experience @ this Topgolf location was okay. We made a reservation in advance, but still had to wait to be escorted to our couch. When we got to our couch, it was completely dirty and disgusting. Stains. Crumbs. The table was also disgusting and dirty as well. I'm so glad I brought my own sanitizing wipes because I wouldn't have felt comfortable sitting down or eating. This is extremely concerning because we are in a pandemic and they did not clean the area to the best of their ability. Our waiter was nice, very pushy. She would frequently snap at people in my party when they asked questions about the menu and even after I talked to the manager she came back over to us and made another remark concerning our discussion with the manager. My friend, his son and I had a really fun time at TG. We had a reservation and I received a text to inform me my bay would be ready in 15 minutes but we were running late so had the option to delay by 30 minutes which worked out well. We were courteously greeted and then had someone from guest services explain how the process works. We enjoyed 2 rounds of golf and ordered food/drinks. The food was basic pub grub and the drink prices were reasonable. My only issue is the $25.00 reservation fee was not applied to the golf fees. We went inside and put our name down for a walk-In and was told it would be about 45 minutes. Adam was our bartender for the night. I have been to top golf before, but I was in Virginia. I came to this place establishment to hang out with friends. I love the way it is structured. Indoors and out. I loved the DJ that's was playing all the good music. I also liked the course. To be able to go outside and with a vented heat system, and order food and swing a golf club you can't beat it. The waitress was on point with my vegetarian black bean burger. I really couldn't complain about anything. I hope to return back soon. The Top Golf here in Germantown was a little disappointing. I usually go to the one in PG County or in Ashburn both of which had better service. The food was not good at all. We ordered burgers/sliders and Other Apps of which neither was very good. My sister in law took a few bites and stopped eating. The three stars are because we had fun at the gold area. We ended up spending over $300 in two hours but it was worth it until this manager came by at the end of the session when we had three balls left outside, he came yelled at us and threw the extra balls towards the course with his hands.we told him we spend so much money and had great time and to let us hit the last few balls and he said no. Hello on saturday night on July 1st me and my friends decided to go to topgolf just to spend time for a hour and plan golf. We had Ariba as our host for our table, she was nice but she wasn't the best at attending our table. In the whole hour we were there she came to our table THREE times first one to introduce herself as our host, second to get our order and last to give us our bill. Also she's the worst at listening on what you want to order, me and my friend order drinks tell me why 3 extra drinks appeared on the table while we only order two. We were not about to fuss about it and left as that and we ended up sharing them out with our friends. Also we asked Ariba for a extra chair because it was 6 of us at a table of 4 she said "I will try to look for one"and just keep in mind this was at the being of the game she never came back with a chair nor to assure us she was unable to find a chair which shows we didn't weren't her top priority. My friend decided to cross out the tip side on the merchandise receipt which I saw before hand and decided to leave costumer receipt instead. I understand tip is something where we are not obligated to, this is my first place I've decided not to leave tip just because a person didn't meet the requirements to early some extra money. She was still on the clock she was still earning money we were not her only table that night and also topgolf is where the money comes in right ? Topgolf is a pretty penny not everyone is going to decide to send over 100 in one hour to just to play and have drinks. People like him and HER need to humble themselves because at the end of the day I walked up in there as costumers they are there please us and satisfy our visit and show us we are welcome regardless if we have the money or not. Went to this top golf on a Tuesday where you get 50% game play of the bay. I went with 5 other friends. Everything was goi g well and the games are honestly really fun and enjoyable we ordered food and drinks and the food was really good and so were the drinks (a little pricey but good) then at the end we wanted to split everything (like we told the waiter at the beginning) and he over charged everyone and charged everyone twice. Then the manager came apologized but still didn't fix the waiters mistake. So the manager/ supervisor then got a little rude and said "all I can do is give you guys coupons for next time..." we got the coupon because we enjoy going there and playing and the coupon was good for $10 off of gameplay. But what we didn't know is... that coupon is only good for 30 days.
