It reminded me of a bowling alley and how each score, for each ball was kept; pretty amazing technology. At night the field lights up and it's fun to sit back and watch all the golf balls flying criss-cross across the sky. When you first get here it seems chaotic at check in. Once you get past all that and get to your bay it becomes like a private little party even though you are surrounded by lots of people. I've been to top golf a few times and I've enjoyed myself each time. This is a great place for spending time with family and or friends. Service can be a little slow on the weekends, which understandable due to the high volume of business. The food is pretty good. I've had the chicken sandwich and tots, which were very tasty! My second visit I ordered the nachos and I wasn't as lucky. The nachos came out cold and had a weird taste. Not your average nacho. The drinks are really good but a little pricey. If I could rate the Covid precautions and the game play, I'd do 5 stars. We had sooo much fun and really enjoyed ourselves. Even with a 7 month old and 4 year old in tow it was a blast. The food was pricey for the proportions, but that was expected. The service inside the restaurant area was great and quick. The check in person was also super friendly and helpful. The reason I'm doing 2 instead of 5 stars is that this was our first time ever coming here and we had no idea how to play or even how to start the game. We had no idea what the difference in clubs was. We let the person that was "serving" our bay know this was our first time. So she told us how to sign up for memberships and that was it. We also let her know we needed a toddler club and he is left handed. Our game time had already started and we had no idea how to play so we waisted a lot of it trying to figure that out while waiting on the toddler club. (This was early in the day, not super busy we only waited 15 minutes for a bay if that helps.) it had been at least 15-20 minutes waiting for the toddler club and our toddler started to get impatient so I told him we would go find her and ask for one again. So we did and she brought it to us. We then ordered milk for him to drink. We played still half clueless but we had fun hitting the balls trying to score. We had 10 minutes left of the game and still hadn't gotten any milk and of course the 4 year old had asked a good amount of times where it was we saw her standing against the wall behind us and I mentioned the milk. We had only a few minutes left by the time we got the milk so we ended the game,paid, and took the milk to go. I went for a group meeting and we experienced many problems. First of all we had trouble booking 2 bays because they were trying to talk me into a $400 event package. It was just 12 of us meeting so we just told them that we wanted 2 bays and that was it. When we got there everything went smoothly until we started getting our main course meals. They brought us the wrong meals and kept forgetting to bring our side items. We finally talked to the chef and he corrected everything but didn't comp our meals. At the end of our time we all decided that we wanted to extend it but the waiter instead took it upon herself to cancel and finish game without asking permission. They then had a hard time splitting the bills so I assisted in that but they were still acting very confused. They ended up charging me for someone else's membership purchase. We finally talked to the manager and they told us they cleared it up. However, we didn't see a change on our bills. The food was okay and the service was bad. The food also took forever to get to our table. We had simple orders such as quesadillas and salads. I don't recommend doing group events there. The awful service kept us from playing the game and really enjoying ourselves. Back today for a redo. We checked in and about 10 minutes later we were taken to our bay. Everyone was super nice and the server was very attentive. They did know we were coming back for a redo of the last every. Good came out promptly and was so much of a better time here. Went here to celebrate my brothers birthday and it was a lot of fun, although beware that it is an open venue so it can get really cold even with the heaters they have. We decided to buy some drinks and they were alright. I will say they are a bit expensive, but sometimes you splurge a little right? The employees are a lot of fun and really nice. They are very sociable and willing to have a laugh with you which just puts everyone in the party mood. I would definitely go again. While we waited for our bay, my husband and I went to the bar to order drinks. We were told by a white server that someone would be right with us. No one addressed us after waiting approximately three minutes. The same White server that greeted us and told us someone would be with us soon. She then came behind the bar and begin serving two white male patrons. My husband asked if someone was available to help us now as we had been here before those patrons arrived. She said someone would. Another server walked right by us to assist another set of white patrons. We were there to celebrate a birthday and didn't want to ruin the evening so we continued to wait. Our total wait time was 30 minutes. I left to go to the bay as it was ready (15 minutes). My husband didn't arrive at the bay until about 15 minutes after that. They ordered a second round of drinks while at the bar. They never received an itemized bill, but the bill arrived before the drinks did. My husband and I travel all over the country and are successful business owners. We did not appreciate the service that was given to us simply because our skin color was different. When we got down to our bay, we were greeted by a server who gave us impeccable service. I told him about our experience at the bar and he got a manager for us. The manager apologized and discounted our bill, but a better solution would have been to escort us back upstairs, have us identify the servers who discriminated against us and issue a reprimand. Because this was not done, I can only assume that Top Golf doesn't appreciate its Black patrons and that our concerns were not taken seriously. While a discount on our ticket was appreciated, it does nothing to protect the next Black patrons from the discrimination of Top Golf's racist servers. read more

First off, we had a lot of fun so that's good. I give it two stars just because it's so overpriced and you get constantly hassled to buy more more more the entire time. It made it almost unenjoyable, but we used it as just a way to laugh about it. We just so happened to go on Tuesday, which is half price night, so that was great. But normally it's like 50 bucks an hour which is crazy for basically driving golf balls. Great idea though. Also we ordered nachos with smoked chicken and they tasted amazing. I'm VERY disappointed in this place. I come here SO. OFTEN. I brought my coworkers here, who have NEVER played or even HELD a golf club in their LIVES. I went to check in and reserve a Bay just to play by myself, and the General Manager came out and told me THAT I WAS BANNED FOR MY COWORKERS BEHAVIOR. Apparently Top Golf ban's anybody and everybody playing in the bay, if a golf club leaves the bay. This is ABSOLUTLEY Ridiculous. First of all the as I entered the establishment with my family we couldn't help but notice the horrendous Christmas Tree to our left. As if that wasn't bad enough the golf cart driver had to be intoxicated. As I was about to win the round and make my children's day a living hell he drove right in front of my ball causing it to hit the cart and lose the match. To top it all off they didn't separate they're Christmas lights properly as the colors weren't separated from the whites Also the bathrooms have the motion sensors for their paper towels like it's 2007! Which in 2020 in the middle of a pandemic is quite frankly the devil! However, the food was absolutely awful. They make it look extremely appetizing but it lacks taste. We ordered, signature nachos, hummus, chips and guacamole/salsa. Nothing was really good at all. The service wasn't the best. The lady helping us just seemed so uninterested and we were constantly waiting for things. Always a good time here. The staff here is very helpful and friendly. There was a minor hiccup with our member cards (we got ours in Birmingham) and had to get new ones and pay the $5 fee again. That kind of annoyed me but they say it was due to updated computer systems. I like the fact that you don't have to like golf to like this place. In fact, if you are overly serious about golf, this may not be the place for you as it is not a "pure" driving range. The menu is surprisingly good, which I was not expecting. I would gladly pay the high price for the fun and food if the waitress staff was friendly, not pushy about time and food, and the equipment was maintained. Incredibly expensive and hard to know how much you are spending because of the way they give you discounts on the golf but lots of rules that say what discounts you can use and when. I got a $200 gift card for top golf so 3 of us went. By the time we played for an hour had two appetizers, 3 burgers and a couple drinks each the bill with a 15% tip was $358. Ouch!!! So first, Topgolf is a lot of fun and better if you have a group of friends to go with you. You do not need to be a good golfer to play or to enjoy your evening. The other side is you need to understand it can get pricey. There is a $5 "membership" that everyone must pay. Seems to be just a way to get another $5 from everyone. If you make reservations there is a $25 per bay reservation fee which does not apply to your rental fees. We opted not to make reservations since we would be reserving two bays and just submitted our name when we arrive and had a beer. Pricing for the time golfing is per bay, another reason to have friends with you, to share the costs. Fees vary for different times of the day so make sure you check their web site or their pre-recorded phone messages. read more

Let's be honest, the games at Topgolf are awesome. Regardless of whether or not you play the real game of golf, Topgolf has put together a perfect concoction of club atmosphere, sports, food, drinks, and created the perfect way to kill several hours with friends and kids in a fun and lively atmosphere. I've been to Atlanta, Birmingham, Nashville, DC, Hillsboro Or, and of course the local Huntsville clubs. My overall experience has been great and I would certainly give five stars if the service was more consistent in Huntsville. All of the other Topgolf locations have service that almost becomes pestilent trying to replace a drink or bring more food. Huntsville sometimes gets that way, but more often as a guest you're trying to flag someone down to get refills or order food. The drinks are well poured and priced appropriately, beer is always on special it seems but, I don't drink much beer. The food is always delicious when it comes out hot. Again, the issue has to do with their ability to consistently staff the various levels with the correct number of servers. I can appreciate that if I wanted a bay attendant I could certainly pay for that privilege in VIP, but when one server is stuck supporting 6-8 bays, the service falls off dramatically. This is a loss for the business and the customer because I won't order as much; lost revenue. I know that any food I order will come out cold, it will take quite a long time, and it won't be worth the price. When service is on its game and each server has 3-4 bays, the service is perfect. The drinks come out in a timely fashion, the food is served hot, and the portions are appropriate and usually end up driving another order from the group. The beef rib was fabulous for being cooked in an oven, the nachos are always wonderful, and the flat breads are great for 2 people or 3-4 kids. I'm going into detail on the service because it has been this way for almost a year since they have opened. I've been here at least 7 times and only once have I been satisfied with the level of service we received. That was a random weekday afternoon in October when the place was dead, my son was on fall break, and it was raining. The facility was perfect for having fun in the rain without getting wet, we had a server that stood back to wait for us to figure out what we wanted and then brought the items quickly. I'd passed by Topgolf a number of times but had never really had much of a desire to go there because I assumed it was just a driving range. I ended up going one night with my family and was pleasantly surprised. There are several game modes you can play, and the delicious food and potent drinks sure do help make the experience more enjoyable. Getting started is a bit confusing as there's not a whole lot of direction to get you into your bay, but once you are there it's fairly easy to figure out what to do. I will say to the ladies, don't expect to stay looking cute as the fans will blow your hair all over the place and it's not a particularly cool area as there seems to be no climate control. The wait staff is great and depending on how long you stay, how many people are in your group, and what you order the price can range from reasonable to ridiculous. I do wish there was a little more privacy in the bay separation which is pretty reminiscent of a bowling alley, but over all it's a fun place to go with friends and we will for sure be coming back. read more

The picture of the chicken and waffles is sooo deceiving...lol. The chicken was over cooked and dry, the waffle was blah...the dish was a fail, but overall Topgolf Huntsville is a good time! This last time we easily ordered over $250 worth of food and drinks so to only receive one nasty thing (chicken and waffles) I'd say is not too shabby. The wings, burgers with fried egg, and s'mores thingy were all tasty. The staff was kind and the chef even came out to check on us. Great time had by all...jus' get a new chicken option for the chicken and waffle item. Oh and be prepared for long waits. Rude and racist management. We have been going to different Topgolfs for years. But last night, I went with a few family members and only 6 people were playing and the rest were at the bar. One of them came up to grab something and the manager rudely told us that he would throw us out if we didn't get rid of one person. He cursed at us, threatened us, and even made the children feel unsafe. He would not nicely ask and rudely told us he'd throw us and our family out! The manager of the establishment kept bring a security guard over and checking on us, they did not care about how our children felt. She was kind, patient, attentive, and enthusiastic, which made a fantastic experience into a phenomenal one. We came in around 10:45pm and waited about 15 mins to be serviced at the front desk. We were the only people there! 3 employees walked past us and no one bothered to help until an older lady named Lori I believe. She was rude and was more worried about leaving right at 11 instead of helping us and didnt care about making us wait! I love top golf but the employees here are clueless and just rude. After my last very bad experience I was contacted by the marketing team for this location. They apologized and ask that I give them a chance to make it up.
