I wanted to like this so much. We arrived around 6 with few people in the restaurant area. We waited 30 minutes to have our drink orders taken, and this was a constant theme throughout the evening. It took us two hours from start to finish with less than half of the tables filled. One member of our party did not recieve her food for 20 minutes after the rest of the party was served. The food was good, but not worth the wait, especially considering no one told us that we should have reserved our bay first. Granted, we would have missed our time slot had we gotten one. I do not know if the place was understaffed, or if there was another issue, but I don't know if I can justify wasting my time like that again. read more

This is a fun outing with friends and family however the service is seriously lacking. We've been several times and even at their slowest times we've waited a good 15-20 mins just for a server to acknowledge we're there. This last time we waited at least 30mins before being greeted and that's with multiple servers passing us by. A couple of friends and I decided to go and play top golf instead of bowling Saturday night. We knew that there would be a long wait for a bay so we decided to eat dinner while we waited. It was an hour and a half until we got our bay. While in the restaurant, it took 30 minutes for our server to even acknowledge us and 30 minutes for her to come get our drink orders. We did not even get our drink orders until our bay was ready. On top of that we were waiting to cash out before we headed to our Bay Area and it took her 30 minutes just to print the check. The service was terrible! She would be talking to other servers forever. She even left our table in the middle of taking our orders to go to another table to get their checks for them. Once we got into our Bay Area, think got better. Our server was amazing up there. She always made sure our drinks were full and came to check on us often. First time visit at 8PM two Saturdays ago. Reservation cost $50, for an eight o'clock spot...kind of high, but tolerable. Nice place, with decent food and drinks. Complimentary shuttle roaming the parking lot area...and that is a nice service to offer, especially since we parked quite a ways from the entrance. Staff was friendly and helpful. The music and volume of the music was disastrous...over-the-top loud and nothing but hip-hop. Made the atmosphere uncomfortable. I hate having to write this review because I have been to Top Golf several times and it really is a blast. However, last night my wife and I decided to go play for an hour. We didn't plan on eating or anything. So we arrive around 8:45 and they say there is going to be an hour wait. So we put our name on the list and head to the roof top bar to sit and wait. When we get up there we notice that there are about 5 or 6 bays open with no people. The bar tender said they didn't have a server for those bays. So an hour passes and we still haven't gotten a bay. Now I can understand being short staffed or busy, I've worked in the food industry and I've been in customer service related jobs for 9+ years, so at first I wasn't upset. but then I then noticed that it took the staff almost 15 min to start clearing a bay that became available behind us. I also saw lots of staff who seemed to be standing around and not very busy. There was no sense of urgency whatsoever when there was supposedly an hour wait and we weren't the only ones waiting. It's very upsetting to sit and wait and watch the staff make little effort to get the line moving so more people can play. I feel like extra effort could have been made by management to open a few more bays for people in line to play since the staff was clearly not very busy, esp since the business has such a high demand right now. So around 10:10 we decide to leave because I had to be at work early in the morning, and we looked and there were open bays on every floor, and we asked how much longer the wait would be and they still said 15-20 minutes. Now I'm not saying I wont continue to go here, because I will, i really enjoy it, but I really wish I could see the staff and management make that extra effort for good customer service and show a better sense of urgency. With all of those open bays last night, short staffed or not, there didn't need to be an over hour wait. My husband and I and some friends visited Top Golf for the first time last week. Today as I was looking at my Credit card bill I noticed my reservation fee was still on my bill. I called and spoke to someone a few minitues ago on the phone to ask why it was still on there when our waitress said it would be credited back. The girl on the phone told me that my waitress was wrong and that is just the fee . I even called before making the reservation because we are a military family and I was trying to get the discount because there is no way to get one online. They said that I would get one when were where there and not to worry about it. That is why I brought it up to my waitress and she said that the reservation fee goes towards your game play. Now I can understand if I don't show up, I would be charged the fee but for you to not have that fee goes towards your game play is just charging people twice. I have never been charges for a reservtions at any restaurant, facility or even doctors office if I actually show up. I would have never made the reservation online if I had known otherwise. This practice is very deceiving. This needs to be rectified. Also I have tried to submit this to your costumer service link you post on the bottom of all your negative reviews but after I fill it all out if never goes through. First time ever at Top Golf. It was a great experience. We were visiting from NY and Florida and it was a good place for a group. They're very strict on the amount of people allowed in the bays. I can understand why. We were on the 3rd floor and it's easy to get hit or to fall especially with alcohol included. Jo set us up on the bay. She was so cute with her little bunny ears. She even took a few practice swings with us to show us how to reallllly do it. She kicked ass. Cari was our server. Let's talk about southern hospitality! She was the sweeeetest and most efficient waitress ever. She gave great suggestions on meals and drinks. She was prompt. Took pics. And even though we were a big group and a tad rowdy, she held it down! Didn't get flustered or frustrated at all. Not for us to see at least. I really appreciated these two during our visit. Oh yeah! She not once but TWICE sent out cheese fries to the wrong table. She told us she would get more time on the top golf for her mistake. She NEVER did!!!!! Instead offered us to close the bay while we finished our fries that took over fourth minutes. Never apologized or even offered to take it off. Never had a manager come by! But also failed to provide me assistance. She waived me away and said they had a long wait. I said that's fine and asked to be put on the list. She huffed and said let me find out...i was directed to another line where another staff member actually assisted me. But the experience was dampened by Ty's attitude and unwillingness to help.
