Really fun to golf here. They found a way to make golf fun for everyone, and so anybody can have a good time, regardless of how experienced you are at golf. The technology is really cool, being able to see stats about your hit as well as watch a replay is awesome. And the different game modes are really fun. My biggest complaint is that I don't like how there are screens at every station constantly displaying ads. Like, come on. I don't need to see ads at every moment of my life. read more

First Time trying top golf with a group of friends & we highly enjoyed ourselves! With a reservations we waited about 5mins upon arrival for them to set up our booth. Note, you are paying per person to gold per hour played. Food and drinks are good but prices are a bit over priced but what do you expect. Service was great & we were checked on regularly. Our family just visited topgolf for the first time ever, so we kind of knew what to expect but not exactly the variety that was going to be available to us. When you enter, you are assigned to a bay. We went in the morning without a reservation, so we had to be on Floor 1 unless we wanted to wait. We took the bay on the 1st floor so we were able to go right away. You spend the first 5 minutes or more of your time setting up your membership. If you've never been, I presume and feature visits, you'll spend a similar amount of time logging into your account to avoid the $5 new membership charge, which is good for your lifetime. Pay per hour, and the rates are cheapest in the morning and more expensive on weekends and evenings. As for the actual golf, clubs are provided for you or you can bring your own. They have clubs for taller individuals and a shorter set, as well as Junior clubs so everyone can golf without their own. There are multiple game modes on the screen, so you can be as competitive or casual as you want. They also have a full menu and bar menu if you wish to eat and drink while you're there. We spent 90 minutes there and our bill was $87, just over $100 with tip. read more

Friendly staff and fantastic atmosphere! A classic top golf experience catered toward large groups and families. We didn't have a reservation, but we were given a spot-on wait time for a bay we liked (which was under 15 minutes). We had 7 people in our party on a cold December day, and the heating was adequate to bear the frostbite. We just wished we had a booth rather than a table, since some of my party had to remaining standing. Our orienteer was kind, enthusiastic, and willing to help us get situated before our experience. While we didn't get anything to eat/drink at this visit, our server continued to check in on us to make sure we were doing okay and see if we had changed our minds. We felt rushed on the way out and were denied adding more time after we received our check (without warning) unless we went downstairs and re-added our name to the waitlist. Someone should probably look into changing that system... Rating: 3.5/5, but giving a 4/5 here for great first impressions and one of the more welcoming Top Golf experiences we've had. Had a blast coming here and playing a bit of "golf" with friends for one of my best friend's birthday. We had a Sunday reservation for 5pm which was great and near dinner time. We got a nice deal as it was 6 appetizers for $55 (excluding wings). Signature nachos, margarita flatbreads, pepperoni flatbread, guac and chips, tres tacos and buffalo, BBQ and asian sesame wings were all banging! We got 2 rounds of everything. The Top Golf Mai Tai was awesome and 2 are enough lol as they can make em a little strong. Beer selection is pretty nice as well. Now for the game itself! Ive never been great at golf and I knew I would get laughed at by those that knew how to play. Lucky for me, there were only 2 guys out of 8 that had real golf experience. We all had a blast hitting balls out onto the nets in the grassy area. I did pretty good actually and want to learn to play golf better. I went to an event at Topgolf last Saturday night. I thought it was a mini golf place. Lol. It's a huge 3 story open air driving range with scoreboards. It was very busy. I had a blast! I'm quite terrible at golf. The food was ok. Honestly, not the best, but I wasn't there for the food. They do serve alcohol. I can't comment on pricing since I didn't pay for anything. There are heaters which kicked on when it turned cooler. The ceiling extended quite far so it can be enjoyed in the rain unless the winds are how long. Topgolf is open through the winter. Our server was very nice. Could have been more attentive. I would definitely return again with friends. It's a lot of fun! read more

Horrible service. Me and my party sat in the lobby for 1 hour plus waiting for the text saying our bay was ready. The workers were fully aware we were a group of minors when we checked in and after waiting for an hour for our bay to be ready they told us we were not allowed to use a bay and were forced to leave without compensation. On March 23, I scheduled a bay with some friends, my oldest daughter and my father. We spent the day "living like daddy" for the 2 year loss of my late husband/ father of our 3 children. Our sever and manager went ABOVE and beyond. They originally thought we were there for a birthday. I had summed up to our waitress, Patti G., why were there and our day planned ahead. As it touched her heart she went to her manager, Justin, and put together the greatest display for us to help celebrate "daddy". They came out with giant letter signs spelling "DAD" along with sweet treat to help us celebrate live like daddy day with us. Literal tears. Making a bittersweet day more special. Top Golf was surprisingly a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend making reservations though. We went and had to wait almost two hours for a bay because they were so busy. We decided to put our name on the waitlist and eat some food there. Our server was very friendly and took care of us right away and was helpful with suggestions of what to eat. Their Buffalo chicken dip was so good. We finally got the text that our bay was ready. It was easy to figure out how to get started. This place is fun. But I was turned off that the manager harassed us about our tip not being big enough and that we needed to give more. We also signed up for a kids package which included a "workbook" and they spent 20 minutes insisting there was no workbook to give us. This is an experience. That being said, it is a little pricey. You are paying for the entertainment factor with everything. BUT it is so so so so fun. I love playing the bejeweled game in their top golf system. Normal pricing is $50/hour no matter how many people are in your bay (like I said, pricey). So it's best to go with a group. You also have to use your time wisely haha because those hours go by fast. They had a food deal where you get to pick 6 food items for $55 total! Good deal if you pick the right things. I would NOT pick the hummus, it was gross and I love hummus. The margarita flatbread was also not good. Been here a few times now. Always a great time with friends! The service is always exceptional and timely. I highly recommend that you make a reservation for your group a week ahead of time. Walk-ins are welcome but the wait can be long - we waited about 2 hours last time on a Saturday. But the wait is definitely worth it and we cant wait to be back! There are heaters at every station to keep you warm. There is also plenty of bar/seating areas for your party while you wait for a bay. I highly highly recommend getting some food and drinks when you get to your station! The food is reasonably priced but more importantly everything is delicious! We got several bites to share and even indulged in chocolate/cream filled churros for dessert and their cookie with ice cream. Upon arrival, we were told the wait would be 40 min- 60 so we decided to get order food... our bay ended up being ready early (20 mins) but what's nice is that they can have the food delivered to your bay! We had chicken wings, fries, flat bread and pretzels. We loved the wings (Garlic Parm), well flavored and pretty big, other food was alright. The mixed drinks were terrible, though... tasted like medicine and really pricey. The wait staff at the bays were really nice and helpful, too. Overall good experience. We had to wait 2.5 hours, and then no one texted us like we were suppose to get when our bay was ready. My fiancé had to go ask when it was our turn, then they gave us a bay. We went to the bay assigned and they double booked us and we had to wait another 15 minutes. Which was kind of a bummer. Between golf and two burgers and one alcoholic drink, we spent over $125, which is pricey for two people. Pros-- Staff is friendly, the food in the bar area is good. I'm not a golfer, and what I mean by that is I've never done anything more than mini golf 15 years ago, so when our friends decided to meet up there I was nervous. I'm glad I went though because IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! The Wood Dale location runs a little differently than the other locations in that you buy however many games you plan to golf, and play until you're done. Other locations have you pay by the hour, which is not the case here. Because we went before 11:00am, we paid half price, so each of us played two games for $8 total. It was super cheap, and we milked it for about 90 minutes! They offer brunch and mimosas, and their carafe was a pretty good deal at $20. Because we went in the middle of winter, we used their overhead heaters and actually stayed very warm, even with the snow blowing in at us. I would totally be back without a shadow of doubt. This was surprisingly fun especially considering I have 0 golf experience. The place is huge and is very spacious with 3 floors to play golf and also a bar on each floor. On the first and second floor, there is a huge plasma screen tv which is great for watching sports while grabbing some bar food and drinks. We ordered the bone in wings and highly recommend the lemon pepper and Buffalo sauce! If you have a group of 5 or more, rec getting the 3 flavor value meal essentially 18-20 wings. As for the actual "golf ", I liked how it's very non-judgmental for newbies and we played the angry bird and continuous shots. Since none of us plays golf, we just rotated around for one account since each additional player costs 5 dollar for new accounts.
