Can't ask for a better place to host an event! Even if your not a golfer this place is incredibly fun! Their food and beverages are great and the staff works very hard to accommodate. Not a golfer but friends and I decided to go check out this popular place. The minute you enter you are greeted by staff and assisted as well as given an overview of the property and how things work. The entry way is beautiful with a restaurant and bar obviously well stocked. The golfing stations are on both levels and we went upstairs. You have a hog top table at each station and your choice of clubs or you can bring your own. You then have a video monitor that keeps track of your balls and score. Pretty cool place to have some fun and just enjoy snacks or lunch and drinks with friends in a very nice atmosphere. $20 during the week gives you an hour of golfing up to 6 people. Pretty cheap entertainment. On the course there are different targets and depending how far you hit the ball and how close up the center hole your score goes up. Pretty fun hour spent with friends. For a one time $5.00 fee you get a card that allows you to pass through much quicker next visit as all your information is registered already. I am all for skipping lines! read more

Yes we waited almost 5 hours for a table but we put our names down, left for 2 hours and then came back for dinner. Our table to play was ready just as were finishing up our dinner. Antwon, our server at our table, was great. He was really nice and very attentive. I recommend playing 2 games (for a party of 8). In my opinion - one isn't enough and 3 is too many. As for the food we had at dinner....the tator tots and side salad weren't anything special. I thought the portions could've been a lot better but the asian sesame wings were good and the donuts were even better! read more

Our company has hosted 2 large events at this location and they both have been smooth and seamless. The most recent event was this past Sunday afternoon, for 60-70 people. The staff (Zack) was constantly checking in with our guests and us to ensure needs were being tended. For our group, TopGolf provided Allison, a professional golf instructor, to assist guests who didn't know how to golf. Guests gave me positive feedback on the food buffet of roasted potatoes, chicken piccata, kale salad and desserts. We are already planning our next TopGolf fundraiser! read more

It takes a LONG TIME for your drinks and food to arrive. Then it just sits there and gets cold as you try to play within the window of your time constraints of what you've paid for. Then, you have the LONG LINES waiting to get in. When you think you are going to get in someone extends their bay time and they you need to add at least another 30-60 minutes before your name comes up on the list again to get a bay. Poor experience and would not recommend. We booked for 6 people and paid for 2 hours of golf. We had chairs for only 5 people and were told we could not have 6 seats as someone needed to be golfing at all times. So despite eating dinner there it was musical chairs constantly. Plus, we had large puddles of water all over our table as they gave no coasters and the condensation from the heat caused puddles everywhere. I was really disappointed. Let me tell you why. I attended a Yelp Elite event at Topgolf months ago and this event was amazing. They had us up on the third floor, they gave us tons of delicious food, beer, and cocktails, and their amazing instructor really improved my swing. The event was so great I came home and told my husband I wanted my birthday party at Topgolf despite the fact it is extremely expensive. I based my decision on this event I attended and thought "you get what you pay for." My birthday party was last Sunday the 28th of October and my loving husband did what I asked. He booked an event for 14 of us costing over $600 for two hours in the bays. We spend $600 for 2 hours and food and drinks. It would have been fine except for the following: 1) Our event was at 4:30 and the email said to arrive 15 minutes early because our "concierge" would fetch us to get us set-up- we did and so did our guests but no one came until the event time so 14 of us were crammed in the bar space trying to order drinks when the concierge did arrive and because they had started ordering drinks for a less than accommodating bartender, we started our two hour time slot late and people had to figure out how to find our group. 2) They took us downstairs to the bottom level. I didn't even know they had a bottom level. I couldn't see the targets and it changed the experience completely. Why do they even have this level? Put the bar and restaurant down there and the bays up above. It really changed the experience. 3) There was no instructor available. I asked about it and they said the reason we were on the bottom level and no instructor was coming was because of a large sorority and fraternity event taking up the top two levels and all instructors. This event was happening at 6 and my event was 4:30-6:30- so again, why was there no instructor??? This was one of my favorite parts from the Yelp event so this really bummed me out. 4) The food and drinks were so expensive we blew through our food and drink credits within 45 minutes so our guests had to pay their way quite a bit. 5) The food was not as good as it was at the event and their menu changed. One of my favorite items was the Hot Nashville chicken and it is gone. The food choices are very bland bar bites. This was a major disappointment and while I understand they had a large group they would make more money on, they disappointed me and my friends by treating us like we were second fiddle. My husband was not offered anything to compensate us for what we lost. I'm sure the group had fun but we all made comments about the bottom level and I certainly expressed my disappointment about the lack of an instructor. read more

This is the only Top Golf I've ever been to, but I went 3 times in 2 weeks after my first time. Haha, my boyfriend and I love it. We have never tried the food. We usually do one hour in a booth each visit. Because it actually is kind of a work out if you have a small group and go non stop. There is some booths that are like not as good as others because the targets stay in the same spot. But honestly it's a really fun time and it's not crazy expensive. I believe it's $60 for an hour for a booth. And if you go during lunch time then it's less I think. If you've never been, you get 20 balls per game (you do as many games as you can fit into your time slot) and each target has different point levels and the balls have chips in them so the balls know when you make it in a target. And you get a card that tracks the games you play and the points you make. But yea, great time! read more

Top golf was fun for my whole family and the food was excellent (try the Mushi). My oldest daughter had never swung a golf club and she won one of our games. (On the weekend) It's $20 per hr before Noon and $40 per hr after 12pm. They have a full bar, TVs to keep up with other sports (Football...say no more), and music (something for everyone). My kids had a great time and so did I. Once you are on a lane, you can golf as long as you like (because you pay by the hour). I don't think you can have more than six at a time on one lane (we had five and that was plenty). I would give it five stars if the price after 12PM was less than $40 per hr (that can get expensive). I went on a Friday night, about 8-9pm. My mistake... We were told it was a 4 hour wait for golf ( which ended up only being 2.5 hours..) But we couldn't even find a place to sit for four people, to wait it out. Was very crowded and a lot of birthday parties and events, which took up a lot of space and chairs. I'd recommend going early if it's the weekend. Food itself was great. I'd recommend any of the burgers, which I sampled of my friends. And TOTS! yay Service was ridiculous though. Aware it was a crazy busy night, it still took a waiter 20minutes to acknowledge our group at the table and then a few more for them to come back and take our drink orders. So we just ordered drinks from the bar while we waited. Get a pitcher of beer!! It'll give you about 4.5 full glasses. So you'll save a little, than getting individual glasses. Very confused though, every single waiter that had food, came to every single table in the area and asked if this was their food... Not very good... Anyone can be horrible and say yes! That's my food.. And the real table could never get it. They need a better way to organize food being brought out. It also lengthens the time the foods out so it gets cold. I didn't love that it costs almost 6$ to get the card which you pay to play golf.. It doesn't go towards anything. You just pay 6$ whether you end up Golfing or not. Well, this place is always fun. I'm a little disappointed that they changed their drink menu. The food is a little lacking for the cost, but it's a golfing place, you don't go there for the food, right? People watching here is entertaining and you can always count on someone there being worse than you, lol. They have tv's outside at the bays so you can watch sports and the servers are fairly attentive. The kids always have a good time and that's the big thing. Topgolf is a nice place to go with friends to practice your golf game or to just play around. 3 stars: I give this location 3 stars because if you're not into golf, this may not be the place for you. I am not a golfer or even a miniature golf player, so going for the experience was not for me. The food is average at best but the servers here are great. We had Athena and she made sure we were ok and checked on us frequently. Could have just been the place was not that busy, but she was still great. Joey was also cool, stopping by to see if we needed anything and making great engaging conversation with us while we waited. The wait for a bay was only about 30 minutes and we extended it about 15 minutes since we had gotten our food and wanted to eat before going out to play. Our group ordered the buffalo chicken sliders, they were not spicy; the pork sliders, which were ok, just ok, the chicken sandwich that was under seasoned and the slaw on top should have been left off; the quest, chips and salsa and guacamole and the salsa needed something so I added siracha and salt and it helped A LOT; the bacon and Mac and cheese egg rolls which were ok. The place is clean and the staff was all pretty friendly. I probably won't go back but only because I've been twice and it's just not my thing. TopGolf Tampa is such an entertaining place. I have been twice now, and loved it each time. The second time was even better, than the first time which was great. Both times I have gone mid-afternoon. It costs $25 in early morning, $35 for afternoon times, and $45 into the night. Each cost is for the hour rental of a bay. I have found that two hours, to two and a half hours is adequate time for a four person group. TopGolf requires that you buy a $5 membership card when you first go to play, which gives you a life term membership and allows you to track your scores and history using the TopGolf mobile app, and at any TopGolf location. The technology used at the location is amazing, each golf ball is GPS tracked and scores the points every time when hit into one of the large targets on the range. The play system has tons of different games to play; which some are more challenging for inexperienced players. The classic game of TopGolf is the most fun, and easy. It reminds me of bowling, each player gets a chance to hit using tons of different clubs, from wedges to drivers; and tries to hit the targets to score points for their person. The targets are laid out on a 215 yard range, and they are different sizes, and different colors. The farther back the target, the more the points. The farther inward on the target that your ball lands, the higher the score. It is very fun, and it's easy to spend two hours there, playing and having a lot of fun. It's a good family location, and fun for anyone and everyone, no matter the experience. Not only is the play experience great at TopGolf, they have many different things going on around the complex. On the bottom floor they have complimentary pool tables, and a fun, challenging, bar game called Tiki Toss. Also, the food at TopGolf is fantastic. If you have ever been to Dave and Busters, and eaten in the restaurant, you know how high quality and delicious the food is. TopGolf gives the same exact type of food, and it's very appetizing. It's not inexpensive, but not expensive either. There is many options, and things on the menu which are interesting, such as the Chicken and Waffle sliders, paired with syrup and jalapeño gravy. They are so delicious, and a great meal choice. Food can be ordered in the restaurant, or to your bay on a tab. I highly recommend this location for an entertaining, unforgettable experience. Fun Saturday afternoon with my family at Top Golf. We made a reservation for a bay. Reservations aren't like at a restaurant though. Based on our experience it simply put us ahead of walk-ins. Fortunately we didn't have any major plans for the afternoon, so waiting 50 min past our reservation time to play wasn't causing us any stress. However, if you plan to spend time here I suggest you understand going into this that you are going to be here longer than expected waiting for the bay to play. In all fairness Top Golf has closed 1/2 of its playing bays due to Covid-19. The place is kept very clean. Each bay is cleaned down between each group. My family enjoyed our time playing. I would have given it four stars if it wasn't for the extremely long wait. My family and I would go back. read more

Downloaded the app in order to be added to the waitlist for a Saturday night. Initially said between 3-4 hours (which would have been 8:00-9:00pm) which was fine since we planned to take our out-of-town guest to a bbq place. When we pulled into the restaurant parking lot at 6:35, we got a message at 6:54 from TG that said our bay would be ready in 15 minutes or 30 minutes, our choice. We picked 30 minutes and made sure we were at TG by 7:25. When we got there, I was told we'd be getting a message any minute. Waited and waited and saw our wait time on the app switch between 8:30, 8:15, 8:10 and back to 8:15. Went up and asked (after we sat and had a drink) and was told it could be another 30 minutes. It was 8:20 at this point, so I deleted our waitlist and we took our guest home to watch football on tv. Really disappointed. I understand many establishments are understaffed, but when you encourage the use of an app that does nothing to help streamline the process, it's a big turnoff. Came to Topgolf for a company outing. It was my first time at Topgolf and it was mediocre. We were welcomed promptly and told about the shot specials. The staff is very friendly. When we were brought up to our section it was beautiful. Clean and spacious area. The nachos and queso were brought out right away and boy are they dangerous. I could not stop eating them, the nachos were fresh and the queso was tasty. We had a party booked for 15 and only 8 of us were able to attend. We practiced for a hour after having a hard time getting started with computers. Then we started the tournament portion. It seems like this is a running theme but the computers stopped working. We waited around for about 30 min for our hostess to come and help us. She was not able to fix it and had to go and get a manager. This in total took another 45 min. When everything was squared away that left us with about 50 min of play time for a three round, 20 shot each "tournament". We asked if we can have more time added due to this. They simply said no. As the time seemed to fly by we had not eaten much of the food. I asked if we would be able to take the left overs since, again, we booked for a party of 15 and only 8 of us showed. I was really interested in the fruit since it was left untouched. There was so much food and we were told we were unable to take any of it home. They did let us "have" the left over bags of chips but then could not provide me with a bag because they ran out of all take home bags? When our time ended we were still seated in the section to finish our drinks. It could not have been more than 15 minutes and we were told that we would have to move to the lounge if we wanted to stay while the whole time they are cleaning around us.
