Busy busy ! I came here on a Friday night with a group of friends to try our luck at the game. We've never actually played golf so why not start minor league here :) We reserved our spot and went to wait upstairs at the bar area, we were advised it was an hour + wait but we were in no rush. After about an hour and half the person who reserved had to leave. We finally get the text that our spot is ready but since the person who wrote their name down wasn't physically there, we could not play. It was a group of 8 people and we were given no other options to get that spot which was available for us. So we didn't even play. The dj was fun so we ended up just saying at the bar area and ate some burgers then left. I don't like it when everyone assumes you know how it all works at a place like this. When we arrived we said we wanted to play and eat. So she directed us to the restaurant. Ok. We ate. It was good. No offer for more drinks. There was literally only me and my son In the restaurant. All staff standing around pretending not to make eye contact when I was trying to get another drink. Eating buffalo sliders with no drink is not fun. Then we go back to the front desk and get our bay which apparently we could have eaten at while playing. Ugh. While we enjoyed playing, we had a bit of a time with our server closing out our tab in a timely manner in order for us to actually start golfing.. the food was decent, nothing too amazing - I got some kind of a wrap, but it literally took our server about 25 minutes from the time we asked for our check, to the time everything was closed out. The game charges by the hour so we were a bit frustrated at the fact that after about an hour wait just to play (which we ate dinner during that time so it was fine) it took us another 1/2 hour to get situated to play. Then, after the 2nd game, the computer stopped working correctly and it took about another 25 minutes to get the 2nd game started. A bit frustrating when you are spending so much money. They have a TON of staff, you'd think they would have someone dedicated to fixing issues but everything just seemed to take way too long. A recent trip to visit my buds in Tampa landed us here one night and we thoroughly enjoyed our night at top golf. Our waitress was fun and fast with our service. She made suggestions and she was always right. Our group ordered the injectable donut holes, chips and queso, and a jumbo pretzel board and damn that was good. It was a giant pretzel with blackberries, pepper jack cheese, sausage, candied nuts and a bunch of other stuff. I highly suggest it. Our Chips and salsa with Queso was not hot and our waitress immediately got us another that was. The golf was a blast. The different games we could play as a group were fun and even though we're all avid golfers the limited flight balls were just fine to play with. By now you know they are smart golf balls that register higher point totals the closer you get to targets. Really that's a lot of fun but the people watching is the best here. Great place to meet up with friends, work party, date or bring kids. 3 levels of driving range with different games that you can play because there's a chip in the balls that can locate where the ball lands. They also have several restaurants and bars, full service at your bay when playing as well. They also have plenty of parking. I've had several things to eat here, wings, flatbreads, all are good. They have good local beer choices as well. It can get busy on a Fri and Saturday night and you might have to wait to play but it's worth the wait. I had an opportunity to Attend the Topgolf in Tampa through my Hubby's work event. Ok confession time, I am not a huge fan of golf even though I have been out on the greens several times. This place has definitely changed my mind. Absolutely love, love... love it! The atmosphere is fun and laidback which surprised me because the place is so upscaled. There is inside bar on the lower level. It was full but there was a nice vibe to it. Our servers were friendly and very attentive. When was the last time you were driving golf balls off a third story tier while enjoying a delicious burger and a beer Its new here but they still take care of everyone, I mean its friggin Disney busy here and once in a while service might get jacked for a second but they take care of it. So this is my updated review of topgolf. Last night I participated in the New Years Eve event and I must say that it was fabulous. Literally was the best time I have ever had. We had a phenomenal server named Sharne'a. She was a joy to be around and despite it being so busy she was on top of her game. On time, making sure we were okay, and had a good smile about her too. The food was a 10/10 as always. The gameplay is gameplay I mean it can't be bad, it's golf! I wanted to note that the venue was decked out in gold and it looked so good. The theme, the music, the atmosphere was on point. Whoever is in charge of that did a great job. The set up and execution was superb. Even on a non NYE night this place is a hit. I love Top Golf and have played at many different states but the Tampa location is awful. The wait times are WAY above the averages I experienced in Houston, Dallas and San Antonio. I've tried to call a few times before heading over and they don't give out wait time estimates over the phone. I drove there a few weeks ago and they said the wait time was almost 4 hours. Today I called for an indicative time and I said "I'm just trying to ascertain if it's 30 minutes or if it's 3 hours" to which I received a response "it's more than 30 minutes and less than 3 hours". Give me a break. I'm happy to show up, put my name on a list and then spend money at the bar ordering food and drinks but what kind of a business can't tell you within +/- 2.5 hours how long the wait is. Either allow people to get in the queue remotely or be willing to give out indicative wait times on the phone. It's 2021 for crying out loud. It's not like this is rocket science. My only question is...WHEN IS THIS PLACE COMING TO MIAMI?? It's a perfect spot for kids, adults, friends, date night, parties, whatever! I'm not a golfer in any sense of the word, and I'm sure my form offends the golf gods, but that didn't stop me from having a great time. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful, they look like they're having a blast. Shout out to our hilarious waiters Matthew and Nik who danced and serenaded us. The best floor is at the top. There's music on all 3 floors, and a DJ on the top floor - which has an open patio complete with warmers for those chilly nights. The main dining area is on the second floor and is first come first serve - so like a herd of hungry lionesses, my crew and I scoped out and hovered around tables that were soon to become available. We go there at 7pm and didn't start golfing until 10 because it was packed. If we had come around 9-ish it would have been much easier to find a spot. Good: chill, fun vibe. Even if you suck at golfing you'll still have a great time. Staff is great. Why 4 stars? Really cool spot, decent food and drink choices and some fun games for all skill sets. Only two downsides is the actual clubs you use and the other knock on them is the price. My grandfather was a golfer. My father is a golfer. Me...it skipped a generation. The best part of golf, I feel, is driving a golf cart, wearing funny pants and drinking! TopGolf is really cool. Incredibly helpful staff, they escort you to your driving bay and explain everything (if your a first-timer like I was today). The beer was flowing like wine and our server, Katie was courteous and quick with the drinks. We were a little confused with the pricing and time allotted, but David, one of the managers, explained everything and even gave us an extra half hour! Golf fan or not, TopGolf is worth the trip, if you're thinking about coming. I know my granddad would love it. read more

What a great concept. My wife took me there for my birthday, and we had a ball. Free valet parking makes for no stress parking. The food was excellent, I got the doughnut holes for my birthday, and they came with 2 injectors for filing them with the "sugar" of your choice. The range is as cool as it comes, with chipped balls, the computer tells you when you hit target areas. At first glance, you might think the price of the bays is high, but when your group can all play for $40 no matter the size and no limit on balls, it is a great deal for 4-6. Anytime this place came up in conversation, I knew I had to go!! My boyfriend and I got there during peak time (7pm on a Saturday evening) and expected a wait time. We waited briefly to put our name on the list which was projected to be two hours. We found a spot at the bar and helped ourselves to a few drinks that were recommended by our bar tender and they were awesome! While browsing the menu we devoured the Mac n cheese spring rolls and a each of us had a entree. The food was good "bar food". Exactly two hours later our bay was ready for us and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Our server was extremely attentive to us and even jokingly got me on a joke (he was so funny). You could easily see in the way he worked, he liked his job!! This is unexpected as it's unfortunately not the norm. I loved the company and atmosphere. If you not a golfer (like my self...talking zero experience) it was still so much fun. Ok. I absolutely love Top Golf. The only thing I don't love is the drive to Brandon. I love that they marry golfing with a scoring system similar to bowling. My last outing it was for a friends birthday. They had only reserved one bay and about 30 people showed up. I really need to say the staff was awesome and were able to accommodate us. They put us between two groups that had been there for a while. So as soon as the booth the first one about 15 minutes and the second about 30 they sat 6 more of of group. We had a server just for our group. I really liked the fact that even though we were split up we still had a fantastic time. The music they played wasn't so loud we couldn't talk but just loud enough to have us singing and dancing along while waiting for our turn. I did order the chimichurri hummus it was good. There wasn't as much chimichurri flavor I would have liked but I still love hummus. So it was good. I will probably be back here because this is a great place to meet with friends. read more

Honestly wish I could give NO stars for this location. Sadly, it seems every single time we have ever been to this Topgolf location it has been absolutely TREACHEROUS, to say the least! From the 4 hour wait time, to the incredibly rude and unhelpful staff, to the cold food. My family and friends love to golf and we love the idea and concept of topgolf, so we've given this location more opportunities to fix things then we really should have. This Saturday was the last time we will ever step foot into this topgolf location! My brother wanted to go there for his birthday and give them one more try but sadly, it was the exact same as it always is, if not worse. We sat down and had to wait 10 minutes before we even knew who our server was. Once we ordered drinks, we did not see him again until we were halfway done with our golf game. We wanted the entire time to order food but when he finally came back 30 minutes into our game, we asked him how long The food would take if we ordered it at that moment and he stated the kitchen is backed up an hour to an hour and a half and we would be done with our golf game before our food came out. We were already there and it was already pretty late so we still decided to order and the weirdest thing happened... our waiter rolled his eyes like it was such an inconvenience for us to order food after he had told us we wouldn't get it until we were finished. I've never seen anything like that before in my entire life. Our golf game had 5 minutes and instead of giving us our food, he let the food sit behind our bay on the tray and he told us once we found a seat somewhere else (The bar or another seating area) he would have somebody take our food to us. WHAT?! By the time we finally found a seat down by the pool tables on the first floor, we finally had our food delivered to us, with empty soda glasses, we were delivered COLD food. He set the food down on the table and walked away. At that time, what seemed like the manager of the downstairs area came to our table and we all asked for drink refills and she gave us the weirdest attitude for someone who was in a higher position like her. (So sorry for the inconvenience of refilling our sodas that we paid for...) Aside from the horrible service, the prices of everything have now gone up! $50 for an hour golf play? ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT!! Even the prices of the food have gone up, and we've been there numerous times before so we should know what the prices used to be. The burgers are smaller, the pizza barely has any cheese on it, they don't even give you a pickle wedge with your sandwich anymore, it's NASTY pickle chips.
