This time I was in here for the shepherd's pie. From being here before, I'd seen someone else order it and noticed it comes in a mini cast iron; he serving option alone is already promising. The shepherd's pie is absolutely delicious, no notes. The mash on top was broiled with just enough crisp, so smooth and creamy underneath. The ground meat below was cooked hot with smoke, and every bite was hearty and rich, with noticeable touches of herb. I don't like peas, so the shepherd's pie here coming with carrots instead makes it even better for me, and the crispy shallots on top give an occasional crunch. So far I've tried three dishes here, and I've been happy with all of them. These dishes are the kind I'd come back for, but this really solidifies the impression that most, if not all, of the menu would be worth trying. Pair that with the friendly, attentive staff and the relaxing atmosphere, and this is for sure a top pick.

Definitely didn't feel welcome. Also didn't help that I am naturally a smart Alec. All I know is we definitely didn't click. I settled in on a Smithwicks Red Ale. Finished my beer and promptly left. The experience was Meh. The beer was good though.

I recently visited Topgolf Tampa for my birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was far from enjoyable. Due to pouring rain, my group and I arrived five minutes late to our bay reservation. Immediately, we began receiving calls from the staff threatening to give away our bays if we didn't show up immediately, with no mention of a refund or any consideration for the weather conditions. When we arrived, we asked if we could reduce our reservation from two bays to one since part of our party couldn't make it. Instead of accommodating our request, we were told we'd still have to pay for both bays, even if we only used one. A manager named Adella was called over, and from the moment she approached us, it was clear she was unwilling to help. She robotically repeated the same three sentences, showing no empathy or willingness to address our concerns. It was disheartening to see such a lack of customer service, especially knowing it was a birthday celebration. To make matters worse, after speaking with us, Adella approached our server and began talking to him while pointing in our direction. Although we couldn't hear what was being said, it was clear it wasn't positive since our server didn't return to our table for the rest of the night. It's sad to see that her poor customer service was passed down to others. Finally, when we asked for her name, she sarcastically replied, "Adella, double L. Make sure you spell it right," as if she knew she wouldn't face any consequences for her actions. Given that they had a waitlist, allowing us to drop down to one bay would have benefited both parties, yet they refused to show any flexibility. This experience nearly ruined what was supposed to be a special day, and I'm incredibly disappointed with the service we received at Topgolf Brandon. I hope they can improve their customer service and handle similar situations more considerately in the future. For now, I won't be coming back and encourage other to do the same. read more

The staff greeted us warmly and promptly escorted us to our designated area. I was immediately struck by the cleanliness and upkeep of the venue. Topgolf Tampa is immaculately maintained, which added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. The driving range itself is impressive, boasting numerous sprawling targets and a variety of engaging games to keep things exciting. The food we ordered was delicious, offering a diverse selection that catered to everyone's tastes. The open bar setup was a hit, further enhancing our experience. I'm one of the few people who comes to Topgolf exclusively for the food. On this particular Saturday afternoon, my wife and I were able to seat ourselves immediately, which has typically been the case. We love the large variety on the menu, and we decided to choose some appetizers to share: hummus trio, mushi, chicken nachos and pretzel bites. Love this combination of flavors. And there was more than enough for two to share. The pretzel bites were salty, warm, and soft, yet with enough skin so they are not confused with sliced bread sticks, as pretzel apps are at other places. Mushi was a wonderful mixture of warm chicken, beans, cilantro and rice, shaped into bite-size pieces. Nicely done. The chicken nachos were meaty morsels placed perfectly on crisp nachos--no dipping required. The hummus trio featured a nice combination of dipping options, from soft bread to raw veggies. So what's not to like? Nothing, if you don't mind a little noise and you're in no hurry. The noise doesn't bother me because I know it's a bar atmosphere with people constantly coming and going. The slow service is more frustrating. Every time we go it takes us at least 10 minutes before a waitress recognizes us. And this visit was no exception. Our food came to our table relatively quickly, but my Diet Coke glass sat empty for entirely too long before someone filled it. And then there was the challenge of getting our server back to cash us out. All in all it was a good experience that could have been so much better. read more

I've been to quite a few Topgolf locations now, and it never fails to be a great time. So far, the Michigan location is probably still my favourite, but this Tampa location was a lot of fun too. I've said it before and I'll say it again: you do not need to be a golfer to enjoy Topgolf. Whether you're a regular golfer, someone who only plays a few times a year, or someone who's never picked up a club before, you're still going to have an absolute blast. The games are easy to learn, competitive, and fun for all skill levels. The food and drinks are always a highlight too. We really enjoy the margaritas whenever we visit, and the menu has plenty of great options to snack on while you play. One thing we liked about the Tampa location was the addition of the soccer target net, which adds another fun challenge. That said, I still have to give the edge to the Michigan location because I absolutely loved the field goal target they had there. Overall, Topgolf continues to be one of our favourite activity spots. Great food, great drinks, and a guaranteed good time no matter your golfing ability. Over the years, I've probably been here more than 20 times, and it never disappoints! When they first opened, it was tough to get a reservation because the place was always packed. But now, whether we're celebrating my sons birthdays, getting together with friends, or hosting a work event, it's easy to secure a bay. The service has always been efficient, and the overall experience keeps us coming back. The atmosphere is especially great during Florida winters - nothing beats enjoying a round of games with the cool weather. fun exciting quick and easy place to playThe good: the golf experience it self is very fun and unique. The bay's are large enough that you don't feel crowded or right on top of your neighbor. It's good no matter what the weather as it's covered. The bad: it drives me insane that you can't bring a drink in. More over, they have people standing outside to enforce this rule. I'm coming to your establishment and am going to spend a minimum of $40 an hour to rent a bay, is it really that big of a deal if I bring in a $4 coffee and finish it? Odds are I'll finish it and buy something else from you. For that reason I try not to buy food or drink here, so for me at least that rule back fires on them. There can also be a bit of a wait and they do not take reservations, unless you pay for it somehow, in addition to the actual rental fee. Top golf was ok. To start the "bouncers" at the front wouldn't let me walk in with my brand new cup of coffee that I had bought to help with the fact I was golfing on a Saturday morning... not cool.. the cooling fans were the only saving grace otherwise I would completely soaked through my shirt in sweat. Our booth was double booked so we had to have an awkward convo with the other group who was waiting for the same booths...not cool. We golfed a bit. Food was good but pricey. Parking was not well thought out. People were parking in the right of way and median on the street outside of the parking lot. We checked in were told it was an over an hour wait. Ok, I get it , it's new. After an hour and half of waiting, we decide to see where we are on the list. we finally get to the desk and ask were we are and we get a curt response from the desk attendant "3 hours", we polite ask but we been here for and hour and a half. His response was "I know." We promptly left. Service there is slow and apparently manners are limited. Not gonna go back, it's worth $40 an hour for services received. read more

This place is mind blowing! I've already been here three times and I live in lakeland! More than willing to drive the 30min. The atmosphere is unlike anything I've seen before. Not only is the food and game amazing, but the thing that blew me away was the customer service. The last time we had a 2 1/2+ wait to get into our bay, but it was 100% worth it. A very fun place! Once you get to your table or the golf range. Our family and friends enjoy ourselves every time we go, we just have to decide that it could take 5-6 hours to get our spot and sometimes some of us are tired or have decided to go somewhere else but once we get to our spot it is on!!! The food and of course the alcohol are always a fantastic plus to our night at Top Golf and the staff pretty much lets you do whatever you want within reason. Just about what you expect from Top Golf, this place is visible from a mile away off the freeway. Seems the parking lot is always packed, kind of annoying but that is to be expected. Food and atmosphere is good enough, but the view could be a little better, I guess it is what it is though. Probably worth it to check out once or twice, but to be honest the atmosphere of a real golf course, driving range, and just driving around in a golf cart will trump this experience any day of the week. read more

We rented two bays for a birthday. We all had so much fun. It was a very affordable evening out. You may have to wait a little while for an open bay during peak hours but we enjoyed the other free games (pool, shuffle, foos ball, corn hole, etc) and the bar until one was available.
