I am a golfer. A pretty good one, I'm proud to say. So, when my family decided to visit me and my wife, I was wondering what to do with them. Top Golf time! My nephews are young and have always wanted to try out golf and this was the best way to show them. For a Tuesday afternoon, it was crowded. Now, you have to realize that it is the beginning of summer so school is out and Top Golf has a special on Tuesdays, 50% off! Whoa! I had to take advantage of that. We got to our bay, got setup ourselves and started to play one of the many varieties of games they offer, the original game. We played for 90 minutes. The heat wasn't bad since there were fans blowing all over the area. We had one of the bays with a couch and the attendant brought us ice water to keep us cool. It proved to be a fun afternoon. The only issues I have is that the cleanliness of our bay was a little suspect and that my elderly mother had some difficulty walking up all of the steps in the front. We did find out later that there is an entrance to an elevator but it is all the way to the right side of the building with no signs directing people that way. I totally forgot to take pictures of the facility but it was a good and entertaining visit and we would go back again. read more

Came here for a work event and was thoroughly impressed by the facility. Three stories of individual stalls each with an automatic ball dispenser and a large screen that tracks where your ball projectory and landing spot. The facility was nicely equipped and well maintained. The clubs were all in excellent condition and it was fun to try out the various clubs. The staff were excellent and very attentive. The food on the other hand (maybe it was due to the food options chosen by the organizers), build your own tacos wasn't very good at the all... I stuck with the nachos and quezo. We have been to Top Golf many times and enjoyed it, but unfortunately today we had terrible service. The service was so slow. We booked bays in advance for my dad's birthday. They rushed our party out while we were doing cake while bays all around us were open. Why were we rushed out? They moved us inside to a table, a sever never came by, my husband had to bus our table. Great value for money. You only pay for the bay for up to 8 people for an hour. If you have never come before you pay a $5 membership but that's one and done. Wait was an hr and half on Sunday afternoon but they text you and give you 20 mins notice so can you either hang out at bar or kill time at Dave & busters. There are pool tables downstairs but not much to keep the kids entertained while waiting. Our server Elaina was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the nachos and I am happy I did each bite had tons of toppings and the jalapeños were a great touch! Very flavorful! Wish they would have served more of the dips on the side (sour cream) & (guac) but the food had taken so long by this time that I would have inhaled it before getting anything extra on the side. An unexpectedly great time. Having been to one other Top Golf in Atlanta, this was a great experience. The staff was attentive and friendly. And some of the food options were great. Definitely recommend the Mac and cheese bites and the Asian wings. Both have a slight kick to them and are extremely flavorful. The nachos were so so...if you've been to Chili's it's the same style, each chip with the fixins on it. I would opt for the pretzel bites over the pretzel board. It was rather underwhelming in flavor, but the pretzel itself was good. Additionally, expect to spend some money here. It's a bit pricey, but a great time overall. read more

This place is what I call .. Energy Packed, Fun, Edgy and just down right put together. I think this is one place where I can say the front of the house , back of the house runs together. I understand TopGolf maybe because I worked for them 4 years from the beginning so I definitely understand their core values and know they work hard to live up to that. Food never disappoints me neither the management. My friends go all the time and they love it. This place is absolutely great for the entire family and for birthday parties. I've had corporate parties here and they have always been a great hit with the employees. So when you're looking for something different look no more this will do the trick. A staycation brought us to Tampa Bay area. We came here on a week day morning for the unlimited game promotion. It was our first time at Topgolf so each new player had to pay a $5 one-time member fee. The girl who checked us in was very helpful and explained how to set up different games on the computer. We were there for 2 hrs and ordered some appetizers as getting close to lunch time. The food was delicious and with great plating. They were not just "bar food". Great day activity when friends and family are in town. Super easy to get on the waitlist on the app, saved tons of time waiting for a bay. Golf was fun, everyone was terrible, but the food and drinks were good. We had the pretzels bites and the chips and queso, nothing major. My dad and my wife housed the queso, so it must've been good! First time at Topgolf. High expectations...LOL get it because top and you're up high. Okay enough of that. Overall yeah, this concept is awesome. It's definitely a 5 star experience. The business Topgolf, not so much. We paid and made a reservation as soon as we could (7 days out is the max). They send a confirmation email right away. But follow it up a few days later with another one that you have to click to confirm. We missed that part. And so our reservation was deleted. We didn't become aware of this until we arrived though. Even after calling to say we were running a little behind! They didn't bother telling us there was no reservation under our name they literally lied to us over the phone?? And when we were there the gentleman checking us in had no idea what the reservation system looked like from the guest side. This should really be part of the training system. How are they supposed to help us if they don't know how it works? The service stayed pretty abysmal throughout the evening. Our server, Nick forgot my drink twice. And pretty much only showed up to renew time in our suite. We ordered the buff chick dip. I knew going in that this food was going to be mediocre. I was prepared for mediocre food. What I was not prepared for was bad food. This was bad, y'all. Really the game is a lot of fun and pretty reasonably priced. I would love to play again. This is a fun concept. I came here for the first time, although I have no experience as a golfer. We made reservation ahead of time and paid $25 for it( on weekends). An hour game is about $47. Not bad, especially when you come to golf with few friends. Service was ok but Kelly forgot my drink and I waited for a while to get it. Don't expect anything special from the food or drinks. Only bit of advice is to make sure employees are aware and educated on all the top golf offerings. There were signs posted about VIP card. When I asked for more information the the girl at the front desk couldn't answer. She pulled a manager that was standing by to answer. He also was reluctant to answer.. but finally said 400. However I had to them ask him to elaborate on if that was monthly, quarterly, annually etc. eventually he said monthly. We visited Top Golf a few weeks back on a chilly Florida Sunday. 3 out of 4 of us had never been, but we had all heard good things about it. I am not much of a golfer, but tagged along for fun. I was not disappointed! All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was phenomenal and the food / drinks were surprisingly delicious. I am not a big Bloody Mary girl, but felt like the appropriate occasion and it did not disappoint! We did not have reservations but got there shortly after they had opened. We waited a few extra minutes for a bay upstairs, which was worth it. While we waited we sat at the bar which had plenty of TVs. When we got to our bay, they walked us through everything and even had heaters which made such a difference (it was that cold)! Our server, Dakota, was so pleasant and efficient. He frequently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We got drinks, food and golfed for about 3 hours, and honestly, I could have stayed longer. It was so fun. Highly recommend. My only problem is that it says verbatim on the bottom of their receipt to tip on the whole tab, but your top golf is included in the bill...? That's weird because it's not like we're getting a golf lesson. I genuinely think that should be separated or not included in the auto-gratuity when you receive your food and drink bill? Consider adding a separate optional tip section but don't automatically add it to the recommended tip. I'm happy I noticed it but I also want to tip accordingly. My team planned a birthday gathering this week at Topgolf. I arrived fashionably late so I can't talk much about initial setup. When I arrived the check in desk directed me to the bay my team was setup in. Here I was able to order food and drinks from the waiter assigned to our bay. I was also able to pick up a club and start hitting. What did I like? Ordering was easy. The wait staff came right to the table, the food was brought out hot and the drinks cold. While I didn't get to try any of the main course vegan options, the fries were good as were the chips and guac. I liked that the "golf" experience was customizable. When I first arrived my team was playing a jewel arrangement game. Then they switched to an Angry Birds game. I assume there are games better suited for legit golfers, but none of us are so we didn't explore any of those. Finally, I like the precautions they have in place to limit Covid exposure. It is largely outside, there are dividers and space between bays and they limit the number of people allowed in each party. I hope to return sometime soon to experience more of the menu and the initial setup. read more

However, I should warn you to not even bother to try to eat at the restaurant or bar downstairs. It's seat yourself and there is no one there to help you and you typically wait 20 minutes before someone even comes up to serve you. Finally after waiting 25 minutes and being skipped by multiple people, Riana served us. Riana had an attitude and was quite unpleasant. I've worked in the service industry for many years and that is not how you are supposed to treat your guests. Where I worked, you would get fired for that .Very unwelcoming and rude to be frank. If you have never tried hitting a few balls, come here first. No shame, it's pure fun. The group experience is best here. Like going bowling with your friends but it's golfing instead. They provide everything, special computerized golf balls and clubs. They will track your points, if you want to play a game, or the yardage of how far you drive. Lots of different seating available. Stools, and comfy sofas are upstairs to watch in between hacking. Lots of hackers here, so no worries if you stink. Lots of booze bars flowing at each level, so they look better the more you drink. Multi leveled, I like the top where you can relax without a roof over your head and play other games like bean bags. They also have billiards downstairs, good hang out. My favorite is at night, they light up the course and you can play games that they will flash and you get extra points, etc. This is a franchise, almost exact to the one I went to in Austin. Rent this out for a party or business event. Look out for specials like Sunday nights it's 2 for 1 bay rentals. Wish they had one closer to me, hoping soon. We love hitting up Top Golf as a family first thing on a Sunday morning because it's a little bit cheaper but we'll also do a date night here with zero kids! Whether we're with our family or alone, the drinks are good, you have to try the Mac n cheese and Buffalo chicken dip for sure! We also love that they have extra space to chill, restaurant seating and a full bar! This visit we tried the injectable donuts and they unfortunately were not worth it. We did not Finnish it because we were too hot and made a huge mess, the injections are huge and the donuts are the size of olives so I would try something else. What a fun way to spend an evening. Went as part of a business team building event and had 2 booths for driving balls. It's about $50 an hour for a group of 6 or more. There are games you can play that go along with the shots you are taking. Play Angry Birds....so much fun!!! They have a large selection of drinks and a decent menu for snacking. The mac and cheese bites were out of this world. Best part was the giant fans and comfortable couches which made so socializing so easy!! Recently visited the carillon park(St.Pete) location. It was 1/2 price bays with kids for spring break. Server came asked for drink and food order. I told him we just ate but will take some drinks. My bf and I got waters and my 2 boys ordered sprite and lemonade. Never got a refill even though he was chatting away with people in next bay and walked by us numerous times. I ended up having to ask him to get my boys refills and more water. He sent someone else over to drop off the refills. I've been to Top Golf plenty of times and I love this place. This is my second time going during Covid times and they seem to be on top of their cleaning standards. Always a good time here especially with good company. Definitely one of the best driving ranges out there. I mainly go for the alcohol and to have fun swinging and missing the balls. Well it's been a few years since I've been to a TopGolf and it was just as much fun as I remembered. The prices have gone up but it is definitely worth it to me. We had a 6:30p reservation and the crowd kept coming even when we were leaving. We had a bay for two and got two games with a party of four to include breaking for food and convo. We had two private bays that came with a food package. It included pulled pork sandwiches, tater tots, chicken fingers, biscuits, chips & queso and mac & cheese. The mac was soooooooooo good! I finally made it to Top Golf for the first time for a post holiday party with my coworkers. Coincidentally it was on one of the coldest days of the year. Luckily Top Golf has climate controlled lanes with heaters on each lane. WWe were toasty while sitting and golfing. We wished we would have gotten a premium lane which has more seating which our server said doesn't cost extra but is an option you can ask for. The food was delicious with the Pretzel Charcuterie being the best idea ever. Having an activity our team could do together really made this better than just having dinner together. It was a fun team building idea and I will definitely be back, and I'm not a golfer. To my surprise, I had the highest score of my group. I love that you u don't have to be a pro to golf and the targets are huge holes in the ground which gives you points depending on where the ball lands.
