We had a reservation for noon and skipped breakfast due to knowing the food was great. You guys didn't let my family down. We ordered mimosas, tons of waters due to staying hydrated while playing, nachos, Mac and cheese bites, Cobb salads, the burger and (sadly the restaurant was out of bone in wings at the time so we made an alternative decision) THE Buffalo Chicken dip was phenomenal. My youngest 2 children are picky eaters and ate everything. My other child had coffee and was wowed on the taste. Our food was fresh and we got enough for our money. Our server (CJ/Cameron) was great where we had the chance to focus in on the fun instead of asking for things. The family pack for $55 is a go to for large families too! So fun! I had never done this before and went for a work event. They don't have this back home (yet)... we played around mostly. No real golfers on my team. The staff was attentive and helped us out a lot. The nacho bar was great! The chicken was really tender and delicious. The beef was ok but i just ate a bite. I don't know the cost but my manager made mention that it was a little pricey (but it was over 10 of us). i was worried that it would be cold but the heaters are awesome and it was actually so warm we had to turn them down at one point. First time at a Top Golf, and it is a really fun concept! We had 4 lanes reserved along with unlimited drinks and a Mexican dinner bar. It was hot and humid (for a CA girl) and I could just never feel really cooled own even with the fans blowing. Our particular lane was a bit broken. We didn't have a screen that showed us our shots like it did for others, in the 3D motion with all the stats, and towards the end, we couldn't get the balls out and had to have someone help. Fun and interesting entertainment though a bit expensive, I can see why with all the technology they have. They track your ball and where it goes. They also offer different types of games to play like Jewel. It's great fun for all. They offer both high tops and couches in the bays. We ordered the chips and guac and an order of the nachos. We asked the waiter on the nachos if we should do steak or chicken he suggested chicken as the steak is sometimes dry, I'm so glad he did. WOW! We did get the churry sauce on thenside, which wasn't and one had it. Still, the smoke flavor of the chicken was so good plus just all of the flavor combinations were good. We.started in the bar and it took over 10 min to get served at the bar, we finally gave up. Tip go during the cheaper price times, check their websites for this info. Also, their soda was $2.75, which I didn't think was bad. They offer coke products but they say they have Dr. Pepper, it isn't Dr. Pepper, it taste different, it's off. One of my favorite venues instead of going to a golf course. The guys who started this business have thought of everything. All you need to do is show up and you play. Golf, drinks and great food. The scoring is automatic, and you can now choose from several different games. The clubs are provided if you didn't bring your own, both men's and women's with graphite shafts. The balls have a tracking device which provides a replay, speed, distance and height. In addition the bays are heated in the winter and have misters in the summer. You can play almost all year in most weather. Keep your swing and your accuracy year round. The menu changes frequently and we have tried the chicken and lamb meatballs, nachos, wraps, and many other appetizers. All the food is five stars. Nothing like you would expect at a driving range. One of the balls had some electronics poking through. Additionally, the software acts a bit wonky, especially if one of the folks has already had a beer or two. Granted, it was a Saturday, but it shouldn't take nearly thirty minutes to get an order of nachos. My husband and I made a reservation for 8:45 on Saturday night. We arrived at 8:45 and were told they were running 30 minutes behind. We sat in the bar area to wait. At 9:15 my husband went and asked how much longer and were told there were 8 in front of us. At 9:45 we just left. I'm so glad this place is still open during COVID-19. The atmosphere here is great. They played a variety of music and lots of popular songs, old and new. I ordered macaroni bites and hot wings, both delicious. It was a date night just me and my boyfriend, we played for an hour and a half, the total ended up to be $115 not including the tip. Definitely on the pricey side if you go on a weekend. But super fun and the staff members are extremely helpful and attentive. I've been to a few TopGolf locations and overall I like this one the best. The layout helps keep your bay separated a little more so your group isn't bumping into the one next to you and it seems to be more updated than some of the other ones I've been to. Additionally. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from the second we walked in the door. We were lucky enough to get Josh for our bay and he was a rock star. Even though he was juggling several bays he always seemed to be around and when he stopped by and never seemed rushed. He was very friendly and helpful in making sure we got everything set up and always checked on us throughout the visit. I can't say I've had that kind of service anywhere else lately so it made our experience very enjoyable. Overall, the food and drinks were great across the board. I've been to this Top Golf location a few times in the past and have always had fun. We have not been since COVID. My husband had never been, so we though it would make a great date night as the weather is getting nicer. I definitely would not go back without a reservation AND during a non-busy time. We weren't able to make a restoration 6 days out but decided to go anyway. We had almost a two hour wait which would have been okay if the service at the bar was better. We thought we'd be able to eat prior going to our bay so we wouldn't lose any game time. But the service at the bar was laking. It was crowded when we first arrived, but quickly died down with most of the bar open. The bar tender still did not check in on us and we had a hard time getting his attention. We were able to get a couple drinks and ordered a chicken sandwich. The sandwich didn't arrive after over 30 minutes from ordering and when we were able to tab out, the server didn't bother checking into it for us. We just took the receipt to the bay hoping to work it out since it was on our check. The employee in the bay was very friendly and helped get that resolved. However, we ordered something else later on and that still arrived quicker than the sandwich. That server was great but wasn't able to stop by very frequently to see if we needed more drinks or food. It seemed like they were understaffed in the bays. I would go back just to play and drink with a reservation, but wouldn't waste time at the bar or trying to eat. As others have mentioned, if you aren't playing for a longer period, you probably can't eat in your time. read more

I don't go to top golf much nor do I write reviews. However, my experience here was awful. We paid for 30 minutes. Received waters and then with 15 minutes left we had to get up and go get her and asked to take our order. She seemed angry and told us we needed to add more time. I wasn't sure how top golf worked but happily I extended more time. I added 15 minutes and ordered food and hot chocolate. I never received the hot chocolate and my food was cold and came out incorrect. Plus I received it 5 minutes before leaving. My son, his wife and my wife and I went to the Top Golf in The Colony on Tuesday night to celebrate my son's birthday. We didn't have reservations but the wait time gave us time to have dinner before hand. The wait wasn't as long as expected and the food was better than what our group expected. I had eaten here before but the others hadn't. They were all very pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. The bar area on the main level was pretty full, but the outdoor deck upstairs was very comfortable. It appears that they are also set up to have entertainment out there as well. The hitting area was clean and spacious enough for our group. Everyone around us seemed to be having a good time as did we. Drinks were available from staff as we played. The hitting areas are now separated by clear plastic curtains. The equipment and displays all worked flawlessly. It's not cheap, but it was fun. read more

We had been to Topgolf as part of happy hour at work. Our experience was great! Topgolf is not about being an expert at golf, but more of a fun hangout with coworkers and buddies. There is a TV to provide details on how the shots went...very entertaining. The food here is mediocre - nothing to overtly crave for. One exception are the injectable donuts - those were amazing. The drinks are good and they have a good selection of signature cocktails. The service was very quick and attentive. I will definitely be coming here again very soon. read more

I've been to this location on several occasions, but after today I don't think I'll be back. We sat at the bar while we waited on our bay. We were hoping to get a drink while we waited. It wasn't too busy, but nonetheless there were 3 bartenders behind the bar. Sat there for 15 minutes while NO ONE bothered to acknowledge us as we sat there watching their every move. We took our son here for his 12th birthday. We had the most amazing time. It's a little pricy the first time you come since you have to pay an additional $5 member fee for your first trip on top of the $27/hour fee. But it was a blast. My son has been talking about it all day & can't wait to go back. The waitress was super attentive, very friendly, and even had other servers sign and present a birthday card to him. I have been to the Dallas location and the one in Austin, but I believe The Colony's is the best. Mainly because it's three minutes away from the house, but that's besides the point. We got there around 10:40am on Sunday. Going before noon is awesome because the price is great. For an hour and a half we paid about $40. If you go with another couple, it's totally worth it. I am also always surprised whenever I eat food there. Unlike your typical bowling place, the food is good and the menu is robust. The whole business model and concept is awesome. It's pretty much like playing golf, darts, and bowling all at the same time. There are so many games you can play, like longest drive, short game, but my personal favorite is hit the golf cart (the staff might not enjoy this one as much as I do). If you have never been here, try to get a bay on the 3rd floor. The view is much better and you can hit further. Win win. Quick warning though, if you and your guests are going to be drinking alot while playing, it might be best to avoid the higher floors. There are lots of stories of people falling into the nets. Don't be that guy, unless you enjoy people laughing at you on YouTube. The only reason why I did not give this a five is because our gaming system was finicky. It kept getting glitches and errors that slowed our game. Overall it was still enjoyable because we were all there to hang out, but it still would of been nice to play without trying to figure out how to debug / troubleshoot. This last point is more of a tip - bring your own clubs if you have some. The ones they have are really old. Great job TopGolf. My friends and I thank you. read more

I relocated to this area two years ago from a different state, and since then, I have frequented this place several times a year, particularly when my teenage son visits. Will get like six family members, usually reserve a bay online. Occasionally, we arrive a bit early before receiving the text message confirming the availability of a bay. During this time, we may head to the bar for a drink or two, although the prices here are slightly higher compared to other restaurants in the area. Once we are in a bay, we generally receive good service, although there have been instances where our server takes a while to check on us. Since we enjoy drinking while playing, the wait can be a bit longer when the place is crowded and in need of another drink. At times its faster just to go to the bar and grab your own drinks. Cordially greeted at the door and met by a third staff member just inside to walk us through the "how to" stuff. Comfortable seating and attentive wait staff. Space heaters to dry/heat our area (fans as well). Added 15 minutes of time to our play for free to compensate for weather...that's customer service! I gave two stars because the waitress outside was great and our kids ended up having fun. BUT this place was a cluster...and that's putting it nicely. We showed up at 1215 on Sunday. We requested two bays for 11 players...we totally expected the 1 hour wait time. No biggie, we will go get some lunch and drinks in the bar. This is where it went to hell. It took about 10 min before our waitress took our drink orders. We waited about 15 more min until we received our drinks. When she brought them, we told her we were ready to order. Her response to us was "you're gonna have to give me a few minutes." She proceeded to go stand by the bar for about 7 minutes. At this point another waitress showed up to take our order. We waited an hour and a half to get SOME of the food we ordered. Our bay was ready after and hour and a half. We waited longer to get our food order than we did for our bays! It was 2 hours when we finally got two of our last meals (Cobb salad and wings- -I mean come on...those are easy), silverware, and our dressing for the salads. The indoor waitresses kept blaming being short staffed...well news flash, EVERY PLACE IS SHORT STAFFED right now, but this level of service was ridiculous.
