This weekends birthday celebration for my mother was ruined not by a technical glitch, but by a total failure in management. After a over 30-minute wait for checks due to a "system issue," we were met with defensiveness rather than an apology. ​Manager Zach was aggressive, blaming our split checks for the delay, even though we saw atleast 3 other large groups check out while we sat in limbo. While our server, Myste, did her best and deserved her gratuity, she was clearly left hanging by her leadership. No effort was made to recognize my mother's birthday, nothing was comped for the over hour-long check ordeal, and the "make-good" coupons handed to us at the end were actually expired. ​Technical issues are understandable; a lack of empathy and basic communication from leadership is not. I went to Dave & Buster's with my wife to celebrate Valentine's Day, and we took advantage of their date night duo deal for $100. We got an appetizer two entrées and a dessert along with 2 90 minute unlimited gameplay cards. My wife and I had an amazing experience beginning with the service. Our waitress was very friendly did a very good job of explaining the package and made sure that we had a great experience throughout the night. For the appetizer, my wife and I ordered the pretzel dogs and I am not kidding when I say these are some of the best pretzel dogs that I've ever had. It was also accompanied by a cheese sauce that had a little bit of a kick with possibly some paprika mixed it. It was the perfect combo and it was a great bite, dipping the hotdog into the cheese sauce. This will definitely be on the rotation for when my wife and I come back to Dave & Buster's. For entrées, my wife ordered the sirloin steak and I ordered the teriyaki sirloin steak. For Dave and Busters not being a steakhouse, these steaks were very good and definitely over exceeded my expectations. The steak was perfectly cooked and had very good seasoning and some very good flavor around it. I usually do not recommend ordering steaks outside of a steakhouse but my wife and I decided we were trying to be a little bit healthier, but and I would recommend the sirloin steak option if you're looking for something a little bit healthier at Dave & Buster's. The fries are very good and also very well seasoned. The steak also came with some frazzled onions. They were also very good and having a bite with the steak the frazzled onions and some fries was what's wrong Luca a tasty bite. To close out our dinner, my wife and I ordered the brownie sundae and it was a slam dunk and capped off a perfect rotation for our dual meal. The brownies were not too rich, and that ice cream was very good and it was the perfect combination. The restaurant had a great atmosphere over overall and after our dinner, we went ahead and took advantage of unlimited play for an hour and a half and I was reminded of my childhood and how much fun I had at Dave & Buster's and was glad that my wife recommended doing this as a date night suggestion for Valentines. Especially for a Friday night it was not overly crowded. We did not have to wait to play any of the games that we wanted Luca Luca, and they had a greatest assortment of different types of games to play they kept that's very entertained for the whole hour and a half. This was a great experience. The food was delicious. The gameplay was a lot of fun and felt for $100 that this was extremely great value will definitely look at coming back to Dave & Buster's for future date night occasions and taking up some of the other different dining and gaming options. read more

Yelp 100 Challenge- #13 This was my first visit to Dave & Buster's. I visited on a Thursday and book a reservation for dine in. Two options are available for dine in. The top floor which allows for conversation and the bottom floor with booths and the games. Sadly the food was a huge disappointment. I ordered their trio option with a side of fries. The trio comes with wings, sliders, and their pretzel pig in the blankets. The trio was mediocre and not memorable at all. My friend ordered their salmon meal and the salmon was raw in the middle, so that was sent back and remade. We were unable to enjoy our meal together, so I will not be dinning in again. I believe you will get better service and quality of food at the food court, so eat in the mall and then go play games. Gaming Experience 10/10 I love that you can purchase your gaming card at a kiosks and reload it as needed. A few gaming options include racing, Mario cars, basketball, and air hockey. We went here with our extended family to have some fun with the kids and had pretty good service until it came time to paying. We got the platinum pass since we come to Dave and busters quite often. When we got our bill, we saw what it was prior to putting our pass membership in for the 25% off and then saw the discount. Gave Olivia a good tip and then paid with my card and was getting ready to leave. When Olivia turned into a different person after we paid and told us that there was a bill after we paid. And after doing some calculations it was exactly the bill we saw prior to the discount. So there was a glitch in the system and for some reason it shows the discount to be unpaid. Prior staff members have stated that they just bring it to their manager's attention and then they take it off. Well Olivia decided to take it upon herself to insult me in-front of my extended family members and state that I should check my banking statements. Olivia is nice in the beginning but once the bill is paid she turns into a new person and is completely rude. I brought this up to the manager and he assured me that he will chat with her about how to properly talk to their guests because it's important to make sure they have a good time . We usually always have a good time when he comes here but Olivia really put a bad taste in my mouth and I really hope that I never encounter her again. And I hope no one experiences rude service while trying to have a good time with their family members. Overall, great clean atmosphere. Olivia do better. read more

I know people have bad days, but some of the bartender's sarcastic attitude and demeanor was uncalled for. The disappointment was real tonight! Biggest disappointment is how management responded to the situation at hand. Better communication could have gone a long way. We had a large group and when we were ready for our check the system went down. Myste, the server, did communicate that to the table, after almost 30 mins and not seeing Myste, we waved over a manager. He should have come out way before that to explain to all tables what was going on and apologize vs us having to ask him what was going on. Zach did apologize but he was like a deer caught in headlights. I let more time pass before going to speak with Colsen (sp) He listened and apologized. Later Myste came out with our checks, nothing comped and 20% gratuities included (which Myste deserved because NONE of the was her fault.) But something could have been comped. We paid. And then Zach came to the table to give coupons for play, expired 12/2025 . We did figure that out once a friend realized and told him. BUT It was all too little too late. We didn't eat, the games were fun - it was my 7 year old daughter's birthday. We played what seemed like a lot of games for $60 and the staff was helpful and friendly. The coin pushing games that look like they will push coins off the ledge - Here they done win you that amount of coins it's per play you get so many tickets. SeaWorld wins on this game in San Antonio. The car / motorcycle driving games were cool, both daughters left with prizes and had a great time. I like coming to D&B's. It's conveniently located in the Stonebriar mall. Anytime I leave the AMC movies we'll come here for drink and the late night happy hour. While I will say the food is nothing special, it's decent. Your typical bar style food, make sure to go during HH because it's definitely not worth full price! The cocktails are good and the bartenders are always friendly. I prefer the frozen melon drink I get that every time. The inner kid in me loves playing the games, and they do have a half price Wednesday where all games are discounted. This is a really cute date night for younger people. It's not always easy to find a restaurant serving quality food at late night hours. Thankfully Dave and Busters came in SUPER CLUTCH!! Every time I come here, I have a fantastic experience, and I'm so glad to say that our recent visit was nothing different! I don't think people realize that this is lowkey an actual restaurant, not just an arcade that happens to serve food. From the cocktails to the appetizers and entrees, this is absolutely the real deal!! There were so many good options on the menu so we obviously had to order a variety of items. We started with the cantina nachos, garlic parmesan truffle fries (7 spice aioli is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!), and the fresh burrata mozzarella bruschetta. Everything was TOP TIER!! Seriously - all of the ingredients were so fresh, sauces seemed to be house made, and we were totally blown away by all of the flavors!! For entrees we had the Southern Cobb Salad (with shrimp instead of tenders), the Crispy Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich, and the Voodoo Pasta. AGAIN - everything was INCREDIBLE!! The salad was fresh, the chicken sandwich was crispy and perfectly seasoned, and the pasta was SO SAVORY and well balanced!! #1 you need more staff in the area of the bar. The lonely bartender can't handle making drinks for entire upstairs, bar top, and bar tables. Went completely empty on our beers 3X. Partner asked for extra seasoning on the wings, most of the wings barely had seasoning on them. After telling bartender when he came over and asked how things were, he pointed out that hardly no seasoning on wings. Came back 15 minutes later, asked if someone brought the extra seasoning was told No. Then the manager came over, did offer to give him more wings and did add more seasoning. The bar area also kept running out of large glasses, the area wasn't busy so I'm wondering why they kept running out of glasses. Reason for coming here for our first time was the game special of 10 for $10 Wings and $5 beer. With this experience not sure the savings were worth the terrible service and mediocre food we received. read more

First of all, the customer service at the bar is really good. They're running around like crazy, super busy, but still make sure you're taken care of. It took roughly 30 minutes for our food to get here after we ordered. It's a Saturday night, it's cold and rainy out, so we get it. We're not mad about that at all. This Dave and Busters is a great location. My coworkers just held a Christmas Party in one of their private dining rooms. They had a great bartender and busser there, who were cheerfully helping us with everything we needed. They also have some great games like the "Typhoon" ride simulator, and the game where you use small red balls to knock down these clowns. Anyway, I highly recommend this place. I feel it is reasonably priced and a good family experience, because the parents can eat and drink, and the kids can play!...great job Dave and Buster's team. Also, they have staff everywhere and supervisors making sure everything runs smooth. read more

Service was good. The salad was good and the rest of my food was terrible. I had the Philly cheesesteak. The bread was three times the size as one would think it needed to be. The sandwich was so dry and had no flavor. I have had Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, and this by far was the worst. This is definitely a place I would never consider eating at again. This is the strangest D&B's I've ever been to. We walked onto the first level which is the upstairs and the place was completely empty. No hostess, no servers, no bartender. Literally no employees were to be seen upstairs and no customers. We wanted to play pool and just needed to pay for hour of pool,. We rode escalators downstairs. Only employee we could see was the bartender. Asked her about playing pool and she said we could talk to the bartender upstairs. Told her nobody is up there. She literally directed us to go to a billiard hall down the road??? Told us she can't monitor upstairs so we couldn't play. Weirdest vibe in this place. Needless to say we left. We went to Dave & Buster's right at the end of Spring Break in March just after noon. There weren't many people there when we arrived since this was very close to when stay at home restrictions and things were about to start taking place. I sat downstairs so I could keep somewhat of an eye on my two children while they played. We got a pass that allowed them to play for a couple of hours. They had a lot of fun. I used to love going to Dave & Buster's, playing games and ordering food back in Cali. This location is quite different than others that I have been to. They have a bar both upstairs and downstairs, all of the games are located downstairs, there are also not as many games as I can recall at other locations. Perhaps because this Dave & Buster's is located inside of a mall. I have been to this location a couple of times. Items ordered were the Philly French Dip-Slow-cooked pork, grilled sliced steak, sautéed onions, cremini mushrooms, seared mozzarella, baby arugula, ciabatta, four peppercorn au jus, creamy horseradish. Sub gluten-free bun or lettuce bun. Also ordered was the Voodoo Pasta-Crispy chicken, cremini mushrooms, red onions, sweet gypsy peppers, baby arugula, creamy Cajun sauce, campanelle, Sriracha. Both dishes were a miss, the pork lacked in flavor, the bread was too thick the au jus saved the day. And the Voodoo pasta was also a complete miss no flavor nada, we had to send it back. I can recall the food at D&B being much better than this, not sure if it's the location or the fact that they completely changed the menu for the worst. read more

I wanted to fill out the survey from our visit but conveniently enough it was missing the 21 # code to enter the survey. I have been going to D&B for years, we go play, eat, have drinks etc..On our last visit 10/12/24 we visited the DB in Stone Briar Mall. What an experience! The place was dirty, the escalator was broken, we went downstairs and couldnt find a place to sit because the tables that were empty were dirty, full of dishes, old food, glasses etc...We stood there for a while trying to figure out what to do and saw multiple employees around but none picking up tables. Sat at the bar where it took a long while to be seen and serviced. Not even a greeting, what do you need? We started with a couple of drinks and asked for a menu. Ordered wings which for that price is unbelievable they come without fries....and cantina nachos. Food came, to my surprise, nachos were not served in a tray but in a plate, they looked messy, unappealing and they were exactly as they looked, like trash...the "melted" cheese was cold, literally cold, I could tell that it hardly had any chicken, those nachos were not 100% fresh! Fact. We sent the nachos back with a lot of disgust and to our surprise a man with long hair and pony tail, possibly a manager didn't even apologize, he took them back and tossed them in the trash....didn't offer to remake them but as a "great action" said I took care of those from the bill...really? Of course you took them off...was I supposed to say thank you! The wings weren't any better, they were also cold, not fresh, they were very low quality for almost $20 for 8 wings the thought of not even getting fries is unbelievable....well in addition to the disgusting food, the service was terrible...it would take a long time to be serviced to even get something else to drink....I once visited the Dallas on 75 DB and thought was trashy and dirty, well Stone Briar has managed to be equally bad....I will never return, the food is overpriced, the beer is overpriced, the games are old, raggedy, the service is terrible.....whoever is managing this location has crashed it to the ground.
