Toppers, ya just didn't quite do it for me. Ordered for delivery on a Friday afternoon and was bummed about the arrival being over 45 minutes past the estimate. Normally I wouldn't mind too much, but this gal was starving. I opted for the Hawaiian - because that's my favorite type of pizza of all time - but turned out to not be a fan of theirs. Let me tell ya, I've tried a lot of Hawaiians in my time, so maybe I just have too many incredible ones to compare it to. I think it was just far too sweet. I think the "semi-sweet" bbq sauce was just too much, as was the applewood smoked bacon bits. I don't know, it just wasn't my cup of tea. I'll say, I used to loveee their Topperstix back in the day. Those things are incredible. Doughy, cheesy, greasy, and terrible for you in all of the right ways! I can't really handle that kind of bread and cheese these days so I now opt for thin-crust options. I thought their crust this time around was just right. It's no often we order from a chain, as I think that small businesses definitely put a little extra TLC in their pizzas. That said, I won't rule out Toppers forever, just be sure skip the Hawaiian next time. read more

Attempted order date: April 3, 2023 I ordered pizzas to feed my bunch of hungry pool workers after a long day assisting voters. 50 minutes after my order time I called and Mark told me that the driver was on the way. 30 minutes after that I called again and first Mark told me that he had no order under my name. He tried to convince me that it would be the Menomonee Falls store. Then he tried to convince me that it was the Glendale store even though this was the store that was in my email and on the website. When I didn't take that bait, he told me that the order had been delivered (it had not). Such a shame that they bungled this order so badly, I was looking for a new option after Jet's failed spectacularly. read more

Went from 1st to WORST. I used to love this place. Bad management. My food is NEVER EVER what I ordered. A large is a medium at best. Rip off. No one ever answers the phone to resolve issues. Showed up to pick up an order of two pizzas. They said it's be ready in a few minutes as it was still in the oven. Then the lady left and someone else came to check on me. They asked when I ordered and when I wanted the pizza by. I Then they said they have to remake it because the delivery person accidentally took the wrong pizza. They apologized but just told me to wait another ten minutes. Meanwhile, I am watching them handle the dough without gloves (thankfully it goes into an oven). They gave us the wrong pizza order and the manager said he would fix the bill. I have called them 3 times and left countless messages but they have zero customer service and terrible management. I am not sure how they stay in business in Fox Point. I thought the McDonald's in Fox Point was the worst restaurant in Fox Point but I was wrong it is Toppers. They are terrible to deal with and do not care about customer issue that they caused. read more

My pizza and breadsticks were delicious! Better than usual. I'm told that a young lady named Angela Urban made it. She should get a raise or something. I went to college in Whitewater in the 90s, and practically grew up on the original breadsticks. So believe me when I say, these were the best I've ever had from Toppers, EVER! I must say pizza was good but the interaction was very poor. Someone got to teach these people some communication skills. When I called to check my order the guy asked me last name & put me on hold for 5 minutes then another guy came on the phone and asked me my last name again. When I told him that I gave the same info to the last guy he replied that he just left. What a joke. Waisting time for both the parties. Then the guy kept on going without letting me say anything. The last few times I've gotten food from this location has been extremely disappointing. The lotza totza has never come with green onions, most of the time there isn't any of the yellow cheese on top. I ordered a Hawaiin pizza yesterday and 3/4 of the pizza had ZERO toppings! All bubbled up crust that's it. The boneless chicken wings are literally Tyson chicken nuggets with some sweet baby rays slopped on top so half the "wings" don't even have sauce on them. The quality of food that comes out of this location absolutely terrible, don't waste your money. I called to explain my frustration and the manager says he'll refund my order. Quick review. I ordered a pizza and Nachostix. Online. Love the online. Order went through at 11:13 on the receipt. Received email at 11:15 stating deliver by 11:43. Great. Fast forward to 12:25. Cold pizza and stix delivered with the incorrect sauce. The stickers on the box were also removed, making me believe it was either sitting somewhere or, initially delivered to the wrong address. I've been in the QSR industry for three decades so a quick phone call or email would solve most problems. (Expect the Messed up order and cold product) Delivery driver seemed nice. (Did not say sorry for the delay) Needless to say, back to the other generic pizza places in the North shore. read more

Expect long waits and cold pizza. Poorly managed location. Even if you love Toppers, this will be a disappointment. Last time I ordered, I waited over two hours for pizza which didn't come I called twice with assurances that the pizza was "on the way" and still didn't get the food. When it arrived three hours later, the pizza had clearly been cooked without toppings and they threw the toppings on after the pizza came out of the oven. On top of that, the pizza was cold. There are many, many other options in the North Shore. Order from somewhere, anywhere, else until Toppers gets their management in order. read more

Once upon a time there was a girl who loved pizza. She searched high and low for her prince. Some were snobby and put on airs and tried to impress her with exotic ingredients. Some were slobs and proposed with boxes filled with soggy, mediocre pizza topped by sub-standard cheese. Others weren't even really pizza. Then one day her prince came galloping up to her and showered her with gifts so wonderful she couldn't reject him. They rode off into the sunset Toppers Sticks, Philadelphia Cheesesteak pizza in hand and lived happily ever after. True story. I love pizza. Topper's albeit a chain is now my favorite pizza joint. Go ahead judge me, I can take it. The fact is, those uber-awesome Toppers Sticks are what I've been waiting for my whole life. Soft and squishy, greasy, topped with so much cheese they are a meal by themselves AND they come with your choice of dipping sauces. Oh baby you, you got what I need. I love dipping mine in the garlic butter, and listening to the sound of my arteries groaning in plaque. Topper's sticks are officially my "Rosebud" if ever separated from them I would search to the ends of the earth to be reunited with them. We are working our way through the pizza menu. We really liked the Philadelphia Cheesesteak Pizza, The Gyro Pizza (put those peperoncini's on this one folks), and the BBQ Chicken. They are open until 3:45 in the morning. Even in Fox Point where they roll up the sidewalks at 5pm on weekends. You know what that means right. Ultimate. Drunk. Food. I think I may start drunk dialing Toppers instead of my boyfriend, ex-friends and random co-workers at 2:30am from now on. I think that might play out better for me. No matter what time you call, your pizza will be ready in 10-15 minutes. It's like they knew you were going to call and they already started your pizza for you. read more

Those f***ers at Topper's Pizza made me cry. OK, so maybe I was emotionally exhausted when it happened, but that is beside the point. Don't get me wrong - I have a forgiving spirit, especially when deliciously cheesy gooey buttery breadsticks are involved. But they may have catapulted themselves into "never again-dom" by giving me the crappiest customer service EVER. So...I phoned my order in ahead of time, being the planner that I am. I arrive on time. I pay. I wait. I wait. I wait a little longer. Fifteen workers mill about, seemingly doing just about nothing. Someone finally figures out something is amiss with my order and asks my name. By this time, twenty minutes have passed since my arrival, and they realize my order never went in. OOPS. Big OOPS. A skirmish occurs between two workers and I overhear the whole thing; one suggests they comp my meal and get it in right away. The other, who dominated, told the young man suggesting my meal get comped to "not worry about it" as he had it under control. Meaning, I get to wait another 20 minutes and get nothing for it. I blew a gasket. I said give me my money back, I'm leaving and never coming back! He shrugged, said ok, and gave me my $13.03 back without hesitation. I wrote the corporate office about my concerns and also heard nothing back from them. So the moral of the story is....next time you are craving some awesomely bad for you breadsticks, get some crazy bread at Little Caesar's. Unless, of course, your self-esteem is so lacking that you don't care how you get treated and/or you have unlimited amounts of time on your hands. Phew! That felt good. read more

This was the place to order a pizza if you needed to eat at 1 in the morning while doing homework. They were also one of the few places that deliver to Cardinal stritch university. Their topper stix are ok. They routinely mess up orders and delivered late. They were usually good about fixing their mistakes. Their pizzas are mediocre and expensive. read more

This is the absolute worse quality and especially SERVICE that I have ever experienced at a Toppers, possibly anywhere. There is one closer to my home which is awesome, which is why I can't believe how horribly incompitent and inconsiderate the staff AND management is here. The first time I ordered, about 3 months ago, the they said it would be 30 min. After about 50 min had elapsed I called and they said it was on it's way. It came 10 min later (the location is only 5 min away from me) and it looked like the pizza had been sitting for a long time. When I called to complain, the manager refused to give me any sort of compensation (coupon or something). He offered to replace the pizza, but i didn't feel like waiting another hour for another cold pizza. The next time I ordered, 4 days ago, they didn't give me any sauces, sour cream, or salsa (for taco pizza, and trust me it's not worth eating without sour cream and salsa!). It took them 30 minutes to drive back (by that time the pizza was cold) and all they gave me was a coupon for 50% off one pizza (which is basically worthless as the offers they always have end up being cheaper!) This time right now is the last straw; This is my THIRD phone call to the location and no one has anwered the phone!? And i know they are open because the first time i called someone picked up and then put me on hold 10 seconds after I began ordering. Here were the wait times for my calls, none of which were anwered except the first: 1st call: 9 min 2nd call: 10 min 3rd call: 13 min and counting!??!?!?! The only reason I am even attempting to patronize this place again is because I want to use this 50% coupon, but after that I WILL NEVER GIVE MONEY TO THIS PLACE AGAIN! read more

They messed up our order I think because I had asked to speak to the manager. They put barely any buffalo sauce or ranch, as in I had to get really really close to see it. They undercook the pizza and it was completely smushed on delivery. I would complain but I honestly would be worried about my next order based on the employee I spoke to. read more

I ordered for carry out and my first question before I ordered was how long would the wait be, the lady on the phone seemed to not understand and kept asking me what pizza I wanted, I ordered and when I got there the people didn't have my name and kept giving me odd faces, when they found my pizza I looked and she put "monotone" as my name. I ordered on-line at 6:11 p.m. on a Sunday for carry-out. The on-line system said the order would be ready at 7:11 p.m.--one hour! I called the Fox Point Toppers to ask if the pick-up time was accurate. I was on hold and waited TEN MINUTES before I could talk to a human. He said "there is only one order on the screen and it's for delivery--your pizza must be in the oven!" I drive to Toppers (ten minutes). The guy initially can't find my order, but then finds it. He says the pizza is "in the oven" and will be ready in a few minutes. 15 minutes later he tells me, "One minute more--I promise." Ten minutes later, the pizza is finally ready. WTF? Even if they had put the pizza in the oven when I walked in, it would have been quicker than what I experienced. Disorganized, incompetent , ignorant--and they could care less about your order. There are PLENTY of other pizza choices which are more reliable. STAY AWAY!! read more
