Was finally able to try out this pizza spot and I don't know why I waited so long, love that it's located right by the water. We got half pepperoni and half Hawaiian heat to go. The Hawaiian heat is nothing like you've ever tried. So many flavors all in one slice. Just the right kick. And of course you can never go wrong with OG pepperoni. I wish I would've gotten a larger pizza for us because we inhaled this pizza so fast. Next time I'm in the area I'll be sure to pick up a box. read more

We had it delivered to our hotel lobby... twice. There may have been a third time but I wasn't awake for that. These folks make great pizza. I had it first as someone's leftovers. It was fantastic reheated. They use many different sauce bases which impressed me. The toppings were solid. The To Go salad is delicious and crunchy. This is a solid choice! Good Pizza joint! Nothing amazing but good atmosphere and fast service. This location is easy to find as it is 2-3 stories on the waterway and neon lights on the roof. Go inside and stand n line to order your food and drinks. Then find a table and wait. Tables and lodge environment was cool. Service staff wasn't overly friendly but Pizza was good for a late night dinner. $18-$25 for basic pizza is a little steep. We did Buffalo Chicken and a all in supreme. Buffalo chicken received great feedback while supreme struggled given minimal toppings. We did not try the salad bar but it looked nice. I am not that familiar with the area but hopefully the community has a true Italian pizzeria. Nothing really pulling us back here. read more

If you get it delivered it's 4 bucks for the delivery then they pressure you to put a tip on your credit or debit card for the driver if you don't then they ask you if you're going to tip him when he arrives with you're order Who tips before you get your order ? Okay, so I'm not a pizza type of person. I only eat pizza when I crave it, which is very rare... After being out all day with my cousins and brothers, we were hungry and decided to get Pho. Pho Saigon was closed that night so my little brother brought up Toppers Pizza. He always wanted to take me there because I've never been to Toppers and it's supposedly the best thing in Oxnard. My cousin chose this location, it was huge, plenty of parking and really nice view from the second floor. Cabin feel like ambiance, with the wooded stairs, flooring, etc. We ordered the Chicken Ranch Dijon, which was yummy! I wanted to try the BBQ Chicken and compare it with Papa John's BBQ chicken, but my brother ended up getting pepperoni with pineapple. We also tried their garlic cheese bread, which was soooo yummy! Very soft, yet crunchy. The garlic and cheese were just perfect and they add some mints under the bread :) The pizza was so good, especially because I love thin crust pizza and the crust was perfect, I ended up eating the crust. (I normally don't eat the crust). Oh, they also have different variety of drinks to choose from. Their Ranch is great with the pizza too! I immediately knew I was going to love this place when I walked in! It smelled of pizza and beer some of my favorite things. We had to wait for a table but only for 5 minutes which was super great! We were seated upstairs with the view of the harbor. It was sunset too which made it even better! This place is huge! They have two stories with tons of seatings, and ocean view! What more could you want when eating your pizza?! When you order you order at downstairs and they bring your pizza to the table. We ordered a small salad and a spicy garlic italian pizza to share. This was the perfect amount of food for us to share between us. The salad bar had a great selection of salad toppings with fresh veggies and different dressings. Our pizza didn't take very long to come out at all. They delivered it right to our table. This pizza had creamy garlic sauce topped with pepperoni, hot sliced italian sausage, italian sausage, mushrooms, red onions, fresh roasted grape tomatoes & whole pieces of roasted garlic. I LOVED the sausages they both were so good! The pieces of the roasted garlic were incredible as well. This place is a local chain all over Ventura County and wow this place really lives up to their famous expectations! I can't wait to come back here and try another one of their pizza's! read more

The quality of Toppers pizza is going downhill. I ordered 2 pizzas last night and was disappointed with both of them. Whoever was in charge of cutting the pizza should be moved to a different position. Both pizzas were cut so half of it was larger than normal slices and the other half were mini slices. I was surprised when I saw my pizza, but thought that it was a 1 time thing. I didn't look at the other pizza until about an hour later and that is when I realized that it was also cut wrong. I ordered a spicy garlic Italian pizza and the flavor was good, however the crust was a little doughy and seemed undercooked. The pepperoni also had a doughy taste, but there were also other issues. On one side of the pizza the sauce and cheese had not been spread out evenly. Thus there were large segments with no sauce or cheese, but there were slices of pepperoni. This is about the 3rd time that I've felt that the pizza needed to be cooked longer, but the first time that was I felt it was thrown together and not properly prepared. I'm not sure what is causing the decline in quality, but I hope the issue is resolved, before you start losing customers. read more

I've heard of Toppers over the years, but especially since LA has seen such a dramatic overhaul of their pizza scene over the past few years I was admittedly skeptical over how it would compare. In short, it compared, and it compared favorably to be sure. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? Under normal circumstances Toppers is a pretty standard and scalable pizza shop. Clean spot, great atmosphere, and nice folks. Especially during these quarantine days it's important to point out that Toppers runs a highly effective takeout and delivery operation for the local community. Star. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? $25.00 for a large pizza sounds expensive, but it's maybe surprisingly not that irrational of a price point these days given you'll find $30+ pies elsewhere, and these pies are definitely large. There were seven of us and we easily turned two larges into enough meals and then some across the board. Star. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? These are good pizzas for sure. The crust is honestly neither here nor there in an age of pizza where crust is arguably king, but the buffalo chicken pizza in particular, which I'm often not a fan of elsewhere, is supreme thanks to the fried onions and the peppercinnis that compliment the chicken and buffalo sauce. An easy place to eat anytime with a small group, family or large party. The pizza is good. It's not authentic NY pizza but it is definitely good pizza. The salad bar is what keeps me coming back- a big variety of veggies, great toppings and delicious dressings. As a New Yorker we take pizza seriously. I've tried a quite a few of slices so I can say Toppers Pizza is as good as it gets. Every time I visit I have Toppers. Whether it may be their ham and pineapple or pepperoni it's savory, crunchy and soft. Definitely stop by. Their may be a wait especially on a weekend but they try to keep you amused with a few games in a corner for the kids and TVs all over. Worth mentioning is also that they have those digital drink machines and that their beers don't have the original brand flavors. They just taste off. So come and stay the pizza. read more
